When you come be prepared to wait because this placed was packed on a random weekday around 10am! I wasn't expecting to love the nacho but I did! Came here for new years. The asada chilaquiles were so freaking tasty! We ordered the coffee flight, I've never seen that at any other restaurant before but i wish they had them everywhere. I usually enjoy eating here and have a go-to order that I've always liked, but today was a big letdown. The dish I always order tasted completely off. It was unpleasant and honestly nasty compared to how it's normally served. The consomé was thick .. the tacos BLACK, burned. The green juice was mostly foam instead of actual green juice..& On top of that, I had to wait over 30 minutes just to get the bill, which made the experience even more frustrating. Me and my daughter were in the neighborhood and stopped by Loaded Cafe. We found them in Yelp and decided to try them because of the reviews. The food and the service exceeded our expectations! We had the chicken and guacamole stacker and honey lemon crepes! Every bite was amazing and full of flavor! My daughter loved the piña colada smoothie. Best of all was our server, Lesly! Was excited to try this spot out wasn't as I expected price on the food is extremely high for the portion that they give you I got the loaded steak & eggs the smallest portion of steak I've ever received at that steak wasn't all that I got it with French toast the French toast was extremely dry, I got my daughter the grilled cheese I received it the bread was so hard over all food wasn't good. Came here on a Saturday expecting it to be super crowded but was seated almost immediately. Our server was nice and friendly and welcomed us as first time guests. I had the classic breakfast and everything was delicious. I also tasted the waffles and the coffee flight... no complaints on anything. Price wise, I think the food was priced just write and the amount of food was perfect. Only complaint, the door chime literally went off throughout the entire visit. On busy days it should be turned off. It seemed to be highly sensitive to motion and was extremely loud and annoying. Other than that, cool spot located close to home. It's a Sunday and my pal Susan decided to try this place. We had heard so many good things. It did not disdisappoint. Our server was a very bubby lady named Mell. We started with a delicious strawberry lemonade for me and a nice cafe mocha. We ordered the Crunchy Asada Chilaquiles and the Crunchy Strawberry Crepe. I was not a Chilaquiles fan, that is until I had these. Nice portions of beef. The sauce had a great flavor with a little bit of a kick, but wasn't very spicy. Excellent dish and I would order it again happily. The Crunchy Strawberry Crepe stole the show. Again a nice portions of strawberry and crepe. Sweet but not too sweet. The combination of the two was recommended by Mell. It was very good advice. One had a bold savory flavor, along side the sweetness of the crepe was genius. The menu feels like a Mexican diner, with classic comfort dishes and generous portions. I had the breakfast burrito, which was filling and flavorful. Wonderful service! Great sit down restaurant. I ordered the strawberry banana Nutella concha combo, and it was delicious. The concha is fresh because my friend said that they own a bakery two stores down, so the conchas and breads are fresh. The eggs, bacon and hash browns were made just right. It was already half melted, there was no salted honey cold foam or Jolly Pong which is supposed to be part of the drink. Overall, I was very upset and disappointed with my drink, but was happy my mom's drink was fine. Now this is only a part of why I was dissapointed with yesterday's experience. The other reason was the app and workers. Maybe the workers aren't used to working with the Smoking Tiger app yet? Or maybe the app still needs work, but the drinks I ordered through the app took forever to be marked ready even though my drinks had been ready for some time which was obvious because my Honey Bori Latte was already half mixed because the layers of ingredients were melting into each other. I arrived at the cafe about 5 minutes after ordering, but the app's estimated wait time was another 10 minutes which wasn't a problem for me, especially since I saw a person waiting for his order and some people inside the cafe, although it wasn't full like usual. I just assumed some people ordered before me, so I just have to wait a bit, which again was fine with me especially since I was waiting for my mom to arrive. At some point after the one person waiting for their drink left, I realized the 2 girls at the counter were just talking and not making any drinks. I checked the app and it still said my order was being prepared. After 2 more people ordered their drinks and received them immediately, I went up to the counter, by this point it had been the app's estimated 10 minute wait. I told the girl with glasses my name and showed her the order on my phone. Then she walked toward the fridge and got my drinks, put them in a drink carrier, passed them to me and then turned around while looking at the receipt paper that was with the drinks. That was it. She didn't tell me which drink was which and they were not labeled, so my mom and I just had taste them to figure out which was which. At most places, they let you know which drink is which, so I was just confused with the service I received, especially when the place wasn't busy. And to top it all off, my order was marked completed 10 minutes after I received my order which again just left me in confusion. I usually love this place and was saddened when they got rid of their Choco Mugwort drink, but I'm always looking forward to their seasonal drinks and baked goods. This time though, I don't think I was even able to taste one of their new seasonal drinks because it tasted like a regular latte with milk. I want to try their other current seasonal drinks, but I'm also worried about what I will receive in the future and I'm not ready for another disappointing coffee any time soon.

That's what made me like them. It really makes them unique. One time an elder came in who was a bit confused about the menu and they were so sweet to him, they even covered his drink. It melted my heart. It has been getting pretty busy here, though. Lots of students from El Camino use it as a study space so make sure to bring headphones.
