Just wanted breakfast... We found this place on yelp. Sat quickly server Ramon came over to take our order then said hold I have to go sing it was someone's bday. No problem but when he came back he seemed irritated we placed our order which included a chicken Cesar salad he then told my daughter it comes with fries which was odd but she sub the fries for potatoes. When our food was brought the girl server was trying to give my daughter a chicken sandwich but we told her it wasn't ours so Ramon came back with the same plate. Telling us this is what you ordered we told him no she ordered a chicken Cesar salad he then takes it back gives her the salad and walks off. Once our meal was done he brings that check I tell him thank you. Proceed to enjoy my coffee they have great HOT coffee and he comes back noticing I haven't signed or filled out the tip he says oh and walks off again. I think he knew he messed up because without asking the manager comes over and asks us if anything is okay? I tell him yes just enjoying my coffee then Ramon comes back ask me to leave a google or yelp review because that's how they get hours to work. Do what you will with this review I wouldn't recommend this loaded cafe. read more

When we arrived at the Cafe and we were greeted promptly and only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Our server, Reni, was very professional and attentive. We ordered the chilaquiles and Concha French toast which was a fun and delicious spin on a breakfast staple. They have a very extensive menu. I opted for a torta. It's a bit annoying that they charge extra for the avocado, but I guess food is getting more expensive. I opted not to get it with the avocado, but wished that I had. It was a bit dry without it. Our server was polite and efficient, despite being quite busy. Overall, the food is fair. Multiple times I come between 3-3:30pm and the doors are locked. Front door says open everyday until 4pm. Good food but inconsistent hours.

Some other reviews mention this but I would also like to say this is definitely more of a Mexican restaurant. I was looking for a good cafe/American place and it definitely wasn't what I was looking for. I like Mexican food though so I was open minded. We got nachos for our appetizer and I will say that was DELICIOUS! We loved it so much and was super excited for the rest of the food. Originally we were drawn in by the milkshakes but they said they were out of ice cream so we didn't get to try. Our entrees were very mediocre. I got the chicken enchiladas and my partner got the deluxe burger. The enchiladas were okay but way too spicy for my taste. Though I just wrote that off as not for me cause I'm HIGHLY sensitive to spice. My partner though said that his burger was also spicy? He had me try it and it definitely seemed that way, but my mouth was already aflame. It was strange cause it was just a normal burger with lettuce and tomato and such. Also the bun tasted super stale to both of us. Important Note: Their listed prices are their cash prices. They charge you extra for using a card. You can see the different totals at the bottom of your receipt when they hand it to you. Overall it was okay at best. I don't think I'd return to this place. Maybe to try to shakes cause those did look good. It was worth trying once though. read more

My family & I were overlooked, ignored and lied to. I also believe that race played a role in the service, rudeness and quality of food. After being told it'll be almost an hour wait, we decided to do takeout in which we were told it'll be about 15 mins. That 15 mins turned into almost 50 mins!!! It was only 3 of us, 1 being a child! There were plenty of people who were seated right away as soon as they walked in and also who walked in way after us for takeout and received their food before us! What a waste of money and our time! You should know this is a heavily Mexican menu with only a few choices for burgers, wings, etc. That's fine, I love Mexican food. I ordered the green pork chili. The sauce was great with a great little kick to it. The pork was fatty, tough and chewy. The portion was lacking too. There was about 4 ounces or so of meat. I got the Churro Shake and it was good. Overall, I would likely not return for lunch. Be warned the menu prices are the "cash only" prices. It costs a little more to use a credit card. read more

Came in on a Saturday morning with my family and the service was great. We had basic breakfast IE: pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage which was cooked to perfection. We didn't have much time and that's why we went with the basic stuff.. they do have an extensive menu with Mexican breakfast. Next time I will try that. However, I have tried their lunch menu pre Covid days and it was delicious.. waiter was great forgot to get his name but he made sure our coffees were refilled and he even brought out 2 baskets of conchitas which was nice. Had to stop for brekkie before heading to the emergency room...you just never know when your next good meal will be. On this day we enjoyed a breakfast burrito, pancakes and biscuits and gravy. I had a burger. It was just okay but I'd like to try a burger again on a day when I'm not worried for my guy and his emergency visit. He did his best to get some bites in, his verdict on the meal was delicious and he vowed to eat here again when he's feeling better. He enjoyed what he could and had to take most if the meal home. He did mention that the coffee was delicious (that coming from a diehard Peet's fan is a big deal). The staff was accommodating with our need to rush the meal, and our server was as nice as can be. The gentleman seating guests was very friendly and he too helped us get in and out quickly. Very much looking forward to enjoying another meal here when the time is right, we aren't rushed and we can take time to enjoy the experience. The one drawback is the parking. Service and food was on the slow side, but everything was hot and tasty so no issues overall. Some of the best diner menu options with lots of variety especially on the Latin foods.
