Went into the cafe on a nice Saturday afternoon and was seated immediately. As we sat for 10 minutes still no server, a server didn't come to our table until 20 minutes after being seated. On top of that, the stores general manager walked passed our table multiple times and said nothing but greeted the tables in back of me and the table in back of my sister. I had to ask multiple times for silver wear and still didn't receive the knife I asked for multiple times. For a first impression it wasn't a good one at all. Came here after receiving an ad in the mail on Tuesday for Loaded Cafe. Place is a hidden gem nestled in a busy strip mall in the City of Lawndale. We ordered the Super Stacker, Crunchy Asada Chilaquiles and Nutella-Banana-Strawberry Crepes (!). The portions are huge, so it's best to arrive with a healthy appetite. We did, and still couldn't polish off the portions. Somehow, like Ultimate Warrior in Summer Slam, I mustered the intestinal fortitude to gain my second, third and forth wind to finish off the Crepes. Worth it. The ingredients are super fresh and savory. The key that sold me was the taste and texture of the veggies and chicken. Not overcooked and seasoned perfectly. In terms of value, Loaded Cafe scores high on the value scale. You get a LOT for your $. The manager here (Martin) is also very accommodating and hospitable--two attributes that are often overlooked. Overall our food was good. I got the Nutella crepe with the strawberries and bananas and I thought it was great! We got our food delivered through doordash, so I can just imagine that it would taste even better at the actual location. The issue I had was the guacamole and chips order. It was a little over $5 and it came in a small sauce type container. Maybe 4 bites? Which I think is a little pricey. It was also mostly brown-ish. I'm about 7-8 months pregnant so I didn't eat it, just being careful with what I eat at this point. We ordered the breakfast around 9:15am so I get it, it was probably guacamole from the day before. There is like a cinnamon-sugar crust that makes it crunchy on top but when you bite into them it's this nice, warm,and fluffy goodness that awaits you. These incompetent imbeciles not only accepted the order, but also marked it was ready for pickup. Nice my husband arrives to pickup the remedial worker states they don't have an order for that name. After he shows them proof of purchase through the app and the pickup message, the destitute person states that they have turned off orders from food delivery/pickup apps. Feb o1, 2018 We went here for the first time today I treated Nina to breakfast. We have been to the other locations. So was really excited to see this new location open up so close. Upon driving into the lot no fighting for a spot like the other places, drove up got a great spot. They share the lit with a bunch of other shops but it is large enough to find a space. So we entered and my jaw dropped to the floor it was beautiful and huge, not tiny like the other location, where you have to sit on each other. So we were greated by the most wonderful Mr. Martin the Manager who gets 50 stars. Then we met our beautiful server Lupita, she was amazing she gets 50 stars too, if you go ask for her. So we checked in to fet 1 free crepe I got lemon honey to share. I ordered tge enchilada chicken omelet it came with 2 pancakes. Nina, made up her own dish she ordered 2 chicken enchiladas and 2 eggs. The coffee was so good I can tell a place by their coffee and service both were 5 dtar and higher..total 100 stars from me.
