Had the Lobsta roll with butter and a side of Chowda. Both were delicious through and through. The roll was filled with lots of juicy- large pieces of meat (including claw), just perfect with the crispy, buttered roll. The chowda was savory and rich, full of wonderful flavors of smoked bacon, clams - sooo good. I am hoping the price of lobster will drop soon - as this delicious though pricey small sandwich has gotten even pricier - almost too high for me given the portion size. That won't stop me from coming back

This is not a food truck to chase after or wait in a long line. However, if you are craving for lobster and if it's conveniently nearby, then it's good enough. The lobster roll (3.5 stars) was small and $13. Luckily, I wasn't too hungry or else I would have wanted and more. That's the usual price point I've seem from other trucks. It includes fresh lobster in a soft bun. I chose the lobster roll with butter, but it could have used a spritz of lemon. Service (3 stars) was quick but not too friendly. I prefer the lobster rolls and friendlier service from Cousins Maine Lobster.

Heard good things about this specific lobster truck and it does live up to the expectations but I absolutely could have ate 2 on top of the clam chowder. The bread looks so good and it taste just as good!!! It was crisp on the outside and moist on the inside! Now the chowder, it was good but it wasn't hot more like a warm temp but not warm enough for me. They're here in Sherman oaks on Saturday's and Beverly Hills on Thursday's per the cook. Deff a must try even once

Got my pandamit lobster roll fix at the Lobsta Truck. The rolls are buttery, toasted, and lots of lobster. The bun is what appears to be a Kings Hawaiian bun. Not very big but good. Can get extra meat. Price is $14, but Lobsta rolls are not that plentiful. For me, quality is worth the price. Also, the clam chowder is very flavorful and clammy. I'm happy and looking forward to the next one.

My dad found this truck through a facebook food group he's part of and since he is a fan of lobster rolls, we thought we should try it out. Before I begin, I do believe on their website it tells you where the truck will be located. There was only one person working the truck so it was a wait for the food but my family didn't mind. When we ate the food we were very big fans of it. I got their crab roll and it was delicious! I took off two starts because of their price and portion. For the size of the rolls, the prices were too expensive for me. It was good to try and their food was amazing but their price is the only thing stopping me from coming back.

Delicious hot sauce I added to my bisque

It was my first time trying Lobsta Truck and I absolutely LOVED it! The Lobster bisque was so yummy, the Dwai hot sauce was soooo delicious, AND the staff was super friendly. Can't beat that! I will be returning soon.

The guy who came back for seconds. I'm 30 dollar meal? Really . Lol

They came a few days ago to universal/nbc lot and I just so happen to walk by AFTER eating lunch! Grrrr. So you know I had to eat again, ordered a lobster roll, butter only and I mean minus the claw I found in it it was as expected. One guy came back and ordered another one and said give me mayo and butter. Hmmmm. Noe that sounds even better. Too bad it was like 14 bucks so no seconds for me. I've had the lobsta truck before outside of trader Joe's off 3rd and la brea so I knew they were legit. The guys are REALLY friendly and it's a honest good snack for some and meal for others. :)

Taste: Acceptable, given that lobster rolls aren't exactly an LA specialty. Don't expect the lobster to be Maine fresh, though. Value: Pricey/moderate due to the small size of the roll (it's a normal hot dog bun). Novel to try once, but probably won't be a repeat customer.

    Crappy sign.

The owners haven't even claimed this page and don't bother to respond to comments. I've been coming for years but their service keeps declining. The trucks look rattier and rattier. The guy who serves the Guitar Center location couldn't care less. A few months ago they downgraded their crab meat. And frequently run out of crab mid day. Today I went and there was a dirty sign in the window saying he'd be back in an hour. What gives Lobsta Truck owners? It's clear you don't care about your product or service.

Everything was delicious and I was heart broken when the truck disappeared. I would still pass by whenever I could to see if they returned, hoping, praying that they would return. Recently, a friend found this yelp page and scrolled through the comments and found that another customer said they're at this other location in Vernon. I live out of town now and just flew in last night. We decided to take a chance and see if was truly my beloved primos. The NEW LOCATION for my Lincoln Heights peeps is indeed now in Vernon. 5681 S Downey Rd Vernon, CA 90058 We got there last night and circled around a bit but closer to take a look at the truck and it's definitely not the white truck that was parked in the Heights. It's a different orange truck with electronic signs on it. But when I stood up close to analyze the menu and the condiments outside, I can tell it was the same amazing salsa that I grew up on and some familiar faces inside. Now that we know where they are, we'll be making the drive from Lincoln Heights to Vernon for the amazing tacos. My heart is whole again after these rough past few years without their amazing food. Please. I encourage all of you to come here. Tell your friends and family. They're more than worth it. PS. I tried buying a whole bottle of my favorite salsa from them but they weren't down. Too bad. I'll try again next time.

Grilled Cheese. Sushi. Filipino, Argentine, Greek, Brazilian, Korean trucks.... just to name a few. $10 to get in for this seven hour long event, and a portion of the proceeds goes to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. There was also over 40 vendors present, carnival games, live music performances, an acoustic tent, art/car displays, and an electronic gaming truck! I really liked that xylophone display.. it was really fun to play with it. There was also a Yelp tent, and I got a cool bag and necklace after signing up :) I was really afraid that it would be really crowded (last food truck festival I went to was a disaster) But it was not! Wait time was usually 5 minutes for most trucks... and up to 15-20 minutes for the popular trucks! (Grilled cheese!!) Although I wish it wasn't sprinkling in the beginning, my friends and I had a blast! We all sampled 12 trucks! (Ta Bom, Rebel Bite, Tornado Potato, Temaki, Jogasaki, Tropical Shaved Ice, Crepes Bonaparte, Flying Pig, The Boba Truck, Tango Mango, Sweetesbakeshop, and Chef Che). Yes.. yes..I know. I kinda let myself go here. My favorite: JOGASAKI! One thing that really bothered me is that none of the food trucks sold drinks because they wanted you to pay for the overpriced ones at the bar :\ $3 for water/soda? $7 for beer? No thanks. I hope they have this again next year :)

The Wait and quality of food.. Not worth it…read more Came here around 12pm to get some lunch because I was in the area craving Thai. Their menu looked appetizing and the reviews were decent so I gave it a try. Before I ordered I asked how long the wait would be and she said 15min. So I ran an errand and came back, 15 minutes have past and I'm still waiting. I waited until 25 minutes before I asked about my food. she said it was coming up next, and sorry for the wait. I understood I mean it's lunch time. You can tell they were rushed, there's only two of them and the people waiting in line to order slowly left. She didn't acknowledge people waiting in line, she had he back towards them. 40 minutes have passed now and I'm HANGRY... She kept telling me it was next and that it's backed up. I waited another 10 mins before my food came out... By this time I was over it. I took a bite of the pad see ew and it was so bland... The beef is dry and tasted like they Rushed it.... All that wait for something gross.. Very disappointed !! I mean cmon even when I'm hangry and the food doesn't taste good still.... Sad

Well, that's what just happened to me. I wouldn't mind trying other things on their menu, next time. I'm hopeful. But I have to admit, I didn't love the bbq pork noodle I ordered. It came with a peanut/vinegary/liquidy sauce. The noodles tasted like nothing, and the bbq pork was good. But I guess you're supposed to pour the sauce over the whole dish, else the noodles would just be dry and flavorless. Kind of like you do on Vietnamese vermicelli dishes.I've never had Thai food that way, but I'm open-minded. The prices were a little on the high side for a food truck. I mean, why are food trucks generally expensive for fast food? It kind of contradicts the whole concept behind the "roach coach". Dontcha think? These prices were like sit-down restaurant prices for the pretty good Thai food places around town. So, not sure how the whole business model of having high prices works out for these food truckers. I also ordered the fried tofu with the sweet chili sauce. You can't go wrong on fried tofu, so nothing to write about besides it's good :). Service? They could definitely pick up some storefront personality and speed. But overall, they seemed nice.
