Pho was pretty bad 1. Noodle was too hard they might consider to change different kind or cook differently 1 stat for noodle 2. Broth not bad but not great either 3 stars for broth 3. I went to try the pho and the fresh spring rolls. The rolls and peanut sauce were good. The pho broth was not quite as savory as I've had at other places, but I still enjoyed it. The beef shank was pretty dry and tough - I didn't eat that. The noodles and other meats were standard and good. Basil was a bit wilted. I think it's a nice option to have in the area. I ordered Togo today and it was delicious! It's the Vegetarian Pho! It came with a side of sprouts, fresh jalapeños, lime and basil, which can be added as you like to your Pho. The noodles were separate as well. It was great! Jin was incredibly friendly with all the knowledge I needed for visiting them for my first time. They have Happy Hours, bands, and specials. Lobster & Pho. We stuck to the Lobster roll ( nicely toasted bun, lobster and butter - very simple and good - a tad pricey for the serving ) and Wings with sweet thai chili sauce ( ok ). And at a nearby table a friend had the Ultimate "boil" bag. 1/2 lb shrimp, 1/2 lb crab, 1/2 lb mussels, 1/2 lb crawfish, 1/2 lb snow crab, 1 lobster tail and 1 blue crab. Come here for a satisfying meal! We ordered a pound of mussels with Cajun sauce and a huge bowl of spicy beef pho. The Cajun sauce was a great choice, super flavorful and perfect with the mussels, sausage, and potatoes (the corn leaves something to be desired though). Absolutely hit the spot on a cold winter night :) Friendly and attentive service without being intrusive. I got the shrimp boil bag and I must say, by far the WORST I've EVER had!!!!!!!!! One doesn't even begin to describe this crap shoot! We spent $70 here and $50 of it went in the trash! I've NEVER had shrimp shells so damn hard to get off & the sauces sucked!!! !! Literally TWO pieces of damn sausage!! I had to reheat the bag 3 damn times because the shrimp took so long to shell!! I tried the chicken pho to go. It was very tasty. I dont know if the broth was homemade because it was stronger than broths I've had from other places which usually have a lighter flavor. I would like my veggies in a separate bag instead of the broth so they wont be too soft by the time I or the customer will be able to eat it. I will try you guys again soon! read more

Solid lunch albeit kinda pricey. The signature spicy pho had good flavor. The lobster roll was kind of chewy and for $18, I was hoping for more of a melt in your mouth experience. Overall, an interesting concept though. I will be back for pho. read more

Not my favorite restaurant. I've given this place several tries. I had the beef pho but the broth didn't have a lot of flavor and the beef was extremely touch. The sauces for the boils also lack flavor. The last time I went will be my final time going. I ordered take out and they charged me $2.00 for gratuity. I questioned why even on a to-go ordering and the young host said that's their policy. They are however kind inside. read more

The bag seafood concept seems to be catching on in cleveland, and L&P is riding the wave. We came on a Saturday night after 8. There were a half dozen tables and two at the bar, mostly couples and one family. The restaurant is stylish with a large bar on the left and tables in the front and side. It doesn't have a nautical theme and could be mistaken for a sports bar. The interior is clean and relatively new. Upon entering, we were promptly seated by hostess who gave us the simple one page menu. Offerings consist of appetizers, mostly fried. Pho, seafood bags, sandwiches., salads and rice platters. The server was prompt to bring drinks and take our order. Like most other diners, we tried both the pho and the seafood bag. The pho was OK, but not as good as what you could get in Asiatown. The beginner combo seafood boil tasted fresh, but seemed to be mostly crayfish. The potatoes, corn and sausage were satisfactory. We aren't experienced in seafood boils, so we can't comment on how this seafood boil compares to others. read more

The staff was wonderful and my guests and in laws like what they had, but from a veg perspective the pho was bland and there was not much else to warrant a revisit. Had the shrimp pho. I got it spicy with the original broth exchanged for the spicy broth. Very good. My bf got the Signature Spicy Beef Pho. To exchange broths it was 1.00. But other than it was fine. Had so much left over it makes more than one meal. I would recommend and go back. read more

Another good bowl of Pho on a cold Ohio day. For what it's worth, my dining partner lived in Vietnam for a year and said it was as good as he had while he was in that country. I've been here a number of times and have been blown away by each dish I've ordered. The service is always attentive (and the servers are much more skilled at pouring a bowl of noodles into a to go container than I am) I've eaten: Lobster Roll - definitely worth the price point - It's buttery with just the right amount of mayo and it melts in your mouth. I think if you wanted a better lobster roll you'd have to make the drive to Maine or Boston Pork / Chicken Katsu - the Pork Katsu is better than the Chicken, but both are breaded and fried slabs of meat that come with a delicious curry sauce. Beef Pho (rare) - I've been to a handful of Pho restaurants in Cleveland but this is hands down the best pho broth i've tasted in the area. It's so rich and delicious and is the perfect cure for the upcoming oppressive winter. The beef is tasty and the rice noodles are rice noodles (pretty hard to mess up). One bowl can feed me for two meals although make it sooner rather than later because rice noodles will lose their noodliness after soaking in the broth for more than a day Spicy Pho - basically a better version of the Beef Pho with an added kick - the heat will gradually build so beware adding sriracha too early. The broth continues to be super tasty and has delectable drops of spicy oil that hang on to the beef and noodles. Special Mention: the Roti Canai - great textured roti serves as a vehicle to eat a bunch of the curry sauce they serve with the Katsu. read more

Stopped in on a whim because we were grabbing some coffee next door and got some soup to go because we do this at least twice a month. It was nice because they had more options so I got the Chicken and he got Shrimp with rare beef. When we got home we noticed the meat was in the broth which we've never seen before. It was over cooked or old chicken and the shrimp was chewy and the beef was well done. It was awful. We didn't even get halfway through the dish and tossed it. I ordered the shrimp and crab leg combo. I only got the shrimp and when I noticed my crab legs hadn't come yet I was getting pretty full and I figured maybe the waitress just hadn't heard me order crabs so I wouldn't say anything. The check comes out charging me for both and when I brought it to her attention and she looked at me like I was lying. She proceeded by asking to take my leftover bag to the back to check if there was any crabs in it. Then another lady comes out telling me it will be a couple minutes for my crab legs to come out. I told her I just wanted to be charged for the shrimp and refunded for the crab legs because I already ate (plus who wants cold crabs.) She said the person who does the refund already left! Meaning I just have to take the crab legs and pay for them. I mean they automatically charge a 20% too! The waitress pretty much accused me of lying and then rechecked my food to make sure I wasn't lying! She definitely did not deserve a 20% tip. Will not be back. read more

People go here for the seafood per the reviews but I did the pho. I liked it a lot, I am not some pho snob that is an expert but it was really good. The service was good too our server was really nice and he told us to add veggies to the raw beef pho which was definitely filling and worth it. Make sure to ask to separate your noodles from the broth when you take it home because I definitely had lunch ready the next day and nobody wants soggy noodles. Atmosphere is good too it's cute in there for a plaza restaurant. The only thing that bothered me was the wine list wasn't updated for pricing because there were new owners. How hard is it to reprint your pricing list and laminate it? Seems silly. read more
