If you have a lobster roll craving then this place will scratch that itch for you. I felt is was a middle of the road roll to where I won't turn it down but won't be making it a point to get if at all out of my way. The roll itself is quite basic (not at all a bad thing) with bread, lobster, and a side of butter. Roll was tasty, lobster was decent, butter was okay. The price I thought was fine when compared to what other lobster rolls go for. You also get a side of bag chips. read more

I had several different friends ate at this cart reporting back it was on the must do list. As a result, I have been stalking them for a bit trying to catch them when I had time and they were near where I would be. It worked out very well for me and a friend who also loves to try new things out. We managed to drop by when they were in between rushes too which was perfect since we could chat up the super sweet person creating our late lunch/early dinner. We were both trying to pick a thing because everything sounded delicious. Seriously, put shellfish on a thing and I am down! We decided to try out the roll with crab, lobster and shrimp. The combo came with a soda and a bag of chips. The roll was very light on anything but delicious, very fresh and perfectly cooked Dungeness crab, lobster and shrimp and some butter which I just used a small touch of since it did not need it. My friend said she felt she would have liked it even more warm - I could see that even though I did not share that. I am an east coast person so I have had many a lobster roll. This is using a similar bread to that but genuinely is something very different which I love. That was delicious and I look forward to another visit. There was a generous portion and the price was spot on. I definitely look forward to finding this truck out in the wild again and trying something different each time. read more

I was so excited to try this place. Here are a few things worth noting: -Lobster was not fresh, I had one bite where it was frozen. The other bites were so dry and was really disappointed -I added extra lobster to mine for $5 and showed it to someone who got a regular version and it was the same amount they got - The bread they use for their sandwiches is very small. It felt like a lobster roll slider. $25 dollars for a tiny, tasteless, under-portioned and half frozen entree has me pretty disappointed. I wish them the best, but a lot of changes need to be made to ensure their future success. read more

Born and raised on Cape Cod, a lobster meca of the east coast and a stones throw away from Maine. Lobster is my favorite food. While these were okay... I think it's unfair to call them Maine style lobster rolls. Just a squirt of mayo and plain lobster on a roll, not Maine style lobster rolls in the slightest. I love that I'm seeing lobster in Portland but this was superrrrr underwhelming. I had high expectations but both the lobster roll and crab roll were subpar and was decently expensive for me to still be hungry after to head somewhere else. As stated in reviews alone, their pictures posted are a poor representation of what you actually get. Not a lot of meat and little to no flavor. If I had to guess, the lobster is frozen. Portland has places you can get live Maine lobster for cheaper. Revamp your lobster roll recipe and you'd have a life long customer here. read more

Spent $52 on 2 rolls. Received 3oz of seafood per roll. Seriously? The roll was more like a piece of bread. Seafood was cold and flavorless. The butter was a mix of melted and solid. I can go to many local restaurants and get more lobster for the same amount that has side dishes to go with it. I was super excited when I found out a lobster food truck was opening in Portland. Went after work one day since they were right by my work that day. Got my lobster roll and couldn't believe I had just blown close to $30 (I paid for extra lobster) on what I got. My co worker got a roll as well, didn't do the extra lobster, their roll had the same amount of lobster as mine. Glad I tried it though. It was a one and done for me! read more

Pictures are deceiving! I paid $20 for a roll and a few pieces of lobster. So not worth it!

This food cart is misleading. $20 for just a small hotdog bun and very little meat. The food was extremely bland, they advertise a seasoning on the menu but just looked like mayonnaise? Additionally the service was extremely slow compared to similar food carts and apparently they only take cash but there is no sign that says that. Very dissapointed to have even made the walk over to this food cart. I will be informing the awesome people in the area here that this food cart is an absolute ripoff because they deserve much better. read more
