If you have a lobster roll craving then this place will scratch that itch for you. I felt is was a middle of the road roll to where I won't turn it down but won't be making it a point to get if at all out of my way. The roll itself is quite basic (not at all a bad thing) with bread, lobster, and a side of butter. Roll was tasty, lobster was decent, butter was okay. The price I thought was fine when compared to what other lobster rolls go for. You also get a side of bag chips.

Another fantastic meal! Go to any restaurant and try to get this fresh good quality lobster roll in this price point. I've had a smaller not so great lobster roll at a restaurant and over $30. We will continue to follow this truck and support their high quality deliciousness!!

I had several different friends ate at this cart reporting back it was on the must do list. As a result, I have been stalking them for a bit trying to catch them when I had time and they were near where I would be. It worked out very well for me and a friend who also loves to try new things out. We managed to drop by when they were in between rushes too which was perfect since we could chat up the super sweet person creating our late lunch/early dinner. We were both trying to pick a thing because everything sounded delicious. Seriously, put shellfish on a thing and I am down! We decided to try out the roll with crab, lobster and shrimp. The combo came with a soda and a bag of chips. The roll was very light on anything but delicious, very fresh and perfectly cooked Dungeness crab, lobster and shrimp and some butter which I just used a small touch of since it did not need it. My friend said she felt she would have liked it even more warm - I could see that even though I did not share that. I am an east coast person so I have had many a lobster roll. This is using a similar bread to that but genuinely is something very different which I love. That was delicious and I look forward to another visit. There was a generous portion and the price was spot on. I definitely look forward to finding this truck out in the wild again and trying something different each time.

Pictures are deceiving! I paid $20 for a roll and a few pieces of lobster. So not worth it!

I had the Hazelnut Crusted Brie, Raspberry Jam, and Crostini. Talk about a cheesy goey heaven There's also tons of eclectic decor to gander at while you sip on one of their amazing cocktails, I highly recommend the spiced raspberry cooler. Sitting there with my luggage next to me staring out the big windows, made me feel like a protagonist in a French film.

The restaurant is within walking distance of downtown hotels, so I enjoyed the walk over while taking in a little of the city. As soon as I walked in, I loved the atmosphere. It has a classic old school feel with lots of history, photos of celebrities who've dined there over the years, a beautiful bar, and a timeless charm that's hard to find these days. I kept it simple and ordered the chef's seafood special, and wow...it completely caught me by surprise. It reminded me a little of crawfish étouffée, but with more seafood and its own unique flavor. It's hard to describe, but it was absolutely delicious and one of the best meals I had during my trip. The drinks were excellent too (sorry, no pictures because I was too busy enjoying them), and the service was friendly from start to finish. Business trips don't always come with memorable meals, but this one definitely did. The next time I'm in Portland, Jake's will be one of my first stops.

Bar is hopping and their happy hour can't be beat. Their stew (oyster) is simple, filled with plump, fresh poached oysters and though, again, simple it really hits the spot. Chicken sandwich was great, served as more of a Po Boy, which while not listed as such, fantastic. $24 dollars on happy hour for a dozen fresh shucked oysters and it's your choice, which is crazy, you can get a mix of whatever they've got! Most places will have shooters or you don't get to pick, wow! Fried clams were also a hit, best I've ever had. Large, tender (which is hard), and even the happy hour portion is enough for a main for me. There's even a little pepper in there I think. Most places, they are dry, small and over fried. Steamed mussels, wonderful. Service is also flawless, many folks around helping and making you feel welcome and comfortable. I know nothing about nothing when it comes to running a place like this, but I loved to see that any person is willing to assist with customers and keep the flow and pace going. I've been to many establishments where you can't get someone to save your life, and paid double or triple. I've heard this place could be in danger of closing, I hope not, that would be a serious loss for Portland. Big thank you and shout out to a great human being working the bar that I haven't seen in over 20 years from high school! Keep rocking!

I've had food poisoning before but nothing like this. While I understand it is a risk to consume raw oysters, I am sad that it happened to me here. Also, the shrimp cocktail as others have mentioned is not a true shrimp cocktail - it's baby shrimp. Would have loved to have had that clarification before ordering. Will I return? I don't know. What I endured in the last 24 hours leaves me skeptical about ever eating raw oysters again. Staff were attentive and friendly though. We sat outside and I didn't appreciate the punk music across the way. Kind of took away from the dining vibe.

We are typically brunch people, making it here most often on a Saturday or Sunday for a late brunch. Their benedicts are to die for... truly, they're all wonderful. Their Laser Potato is out of this world. Truly, my favorite item on their menu. It is fabulous in all ways. I often take a side of it home just to enjoy later. We recently tried them for dinner. Their muscles are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Truly, the best I've ever had. This beats living in the southeast on the coast, any west-coast seafood restaurant, and every place I've ever enjoyed in Italy. They've certainly topped the muscle game. Highly recommend Olympic Provisions. I will gladly vouch that the negative reviews are from the haters, just to hate. The overall experience has never been anything less than fantastic. Photos to follow (hopefully, if I can find them! HA!) Enjoy OP next time you're in PDX!

Craving oysters (when did we become these people?!), we stopped in for lunch, ordered a half dozen (and later, another half dozen), plus the Rockfish and Chips, and the Hot and Crispy Fish Sando. Everything was enjoyable: the sando was reminiscent of an upscale Fish Filet (I mean that in a positive way) with a tiny bit of heat; the Rockfish were fried in a salt-and-pepper-y seasoned batter that paired well; and the oysters, of course, were a particular highlight, as previously mentioned, since a second set was ordered to finish off the meal. The only disappointing thing about the whole meal was a rather uninspired spicy Bloody Mary, which didn't really do much for me, sadly. Service was friendly and attentive, and the covered outdoor dining area was spacious, well-lit, and warm enough to be welcoming and comfortable. There's also a secondary covered and fenced dining patio that is dog-friendly, which is another perk! And lastly, the market and bar inside boasts a heaping helping of fresh fish finery coming in many forms: fresh, frozen, 'frigerated, filleted and fried, either served over the counter, or available to-go. Lots of smoked salmon options as well! Very cool place, and one that my wife in particular has fallen in love with. We'll definitely be returning, likely for dinner next time, to see if the menu is expanded with additional options such as scallops, swordfish, steelhead and other seasonal selections.
