I was greeted by a friendly barista who chatted with me about how long they had been open, and what drinks I may like. I opted to order an iced latte with their homemade cinnamon sugar syrup, and a hot americano to go. The coffee tasted fine, nothing super special but then again cinnamon sugar is not the most powerful flavor. I was most disappointed by the cost. Their iced lattes only come in 10oz cups, and the cost was over $7. Their hot americano also seemed pricy at $5. I believe some of their proceeds might go to some good causes, however I couldn't tell exactly what their philanthropy structure is online. Overall it's a nice place to work or have a conversation, but I'm not sure I'll be back.

The empanadas were frozen, not fresh, and placed in an air fryer. The drink made had tons of ice and just as much cinnamon. Personally, there was no balance. I did not enjoy it. The empanada choices: are spinach & artichoke, chicken, and vegetarian. The best was the vegetarian, then the chicken followed by the spinach and artichoke. In my honest opinion, for an $11.50 meal, you would have been better off grabbing a $3 bag of tostinos pizza rolls and coke from the dollar tree and being more filled and satisfied. I was not impressed and I honestly believe that the space has so much more potential to draw in a larger crowd if the food choices were improved.

For a snack I tried the Colombian Chicken Empanada - it came with a side of sauce (similar to a chimichurri type) that was perfect for it. Definitely a hit for me for both food and coffee. The service was prompt, and the guy working the counter was nice. But where this place really shined for me was the ambiance and the seating. It is comfortable without trying too hard to be hipster. The seating choices show consideration for folks wanting to set up shop and stay for a while, whether it's to read or work, and they really do come through. The leather couch they have was so comfy, I wished I had more time to just sit and enjoy my drink with a good book. But even if you can't grab a spot on the couch, the chairs at the tables actually have cushioning, so if I was trying to sip and work, this is where I'd go. I really do wish I lived closer but on nice days when I'm interested in a drive, I plan to head back here!
