This place is always a great option when you're trying to figure out what to eat if you're near West End or Downtown. There's a set up for clothing apparel , local business and more . I ordered the "oh boy" classic beyond burger which was seasoned to perfection and tasty. My friend and her daughter ordered the salmon burger and the "Power" Kale salad . They noted that there choice of food was approved as well. During Lent I use to order a Shrimp Philly, that was custom made, and this Philly reminded me of how delicious they are. They say the fries are air fried, but you really can't tell. I've heard so many cool things about Local Green ATL so I thought I'd check it out and give it a try. It's located off of Joseph E. Lowery Blvd and MLK. For those who may not see it initially, they do have a small parking lot to the left of the establishment (if you're standing directly in front of it). My girlfriend and I frappes a Rapper's Delight Salmon Vegan Philly and Monsta Shrimp Burger. We split the goods in half and tried each one. So let's hop into the goods. Rapper's Delight Salmon Vegan Philly: I thought the Philly was delicious. The salmon was seasoned well and the bun was nice and soft from the veggies, cheese, and salmon juices. There was a good bit of salmon in each bite. My girlfriend found the vegan cheese in the Philly to be a bit off. That is, it didn't taste like normal cheese to her. But that's totally expected. Monsta Shrimp Burger: The burger was very tasty. There were about 4/5 shrimp on the burger. I was expecting it to be a burger with puréed shrimp with maybe a few diced shrimp. Nope. This was a complete shrimp burger topped with some slaw. Personally, it wasn't my favorite. Because of the burger's setup, the shrimp kept slipping out of the burger and were unstable. I'm giving them a 4.3 star rating because of the Monsta Burger. There were about two people working when I arrived. They were both initially in the kitchen and then one guy came to take my order. Though I didn't pay with cash, the guy did not change gloves or anything before taking my order after working in the kitchen. It's not the end of the world, but the times we're living in seriously requires us all to take better precautions. read more

Food is ok. I was famished after a workout when I came to get something to eat. I got their salmon Philly quesadilla with liquid gold sauce (it's just honey and mustard, maybe a splash of hot sauce). I think the fries are air fried. I did not enjoy them. That was my first experience with air fried fries and they were very dry. On the upside, the lemonade was tasty. I notice this establishment gets a lot of support from NOI on some days. Perhaps they are apart of NOI and follow the dietary regiment established by Farrakhan. I didn't read his books, so I'm not certain. No meat, aside from fish, is served here. I will say this gave more of a "health food" vibe while eating. It was aight. read more

This guy gets it! I had the Rappers Delight with a side of Lil Babies Brussels and it did not dissapoint. The price and portion sizes are appealing and I was totally satisfied with my meal. Absolutely loved this! Local Green Atlanta has been in my bookmarks for some time before I had a chance to visit but I am glad I did. Located one block away from Marta's Ashby transit station. It's a nice storefront establishment tucked in the middle of Atlanta's historic west end community. Very clean, the staff was excellent, smiles all around and the food was great. We had an party of six and there was not one complaint among us. Vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian options are available here so everyone found something with ease. I opted for the monster shrimp burger combo. The bun was soft and sweet and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. The tomato was thick and juicy and the cabbage topping was seasoned well. The air fries were spicy but a little softer than I would like but still good. The Mexican corn was good it has very interesting citrus lime undertone, very different but worth a try. Ordered the salmon Philly and rosemary fries. The fries were extremely dry. They are air-fried ,but geese, they were hard to get down. I couldn't finish. The salmon Philly was tasty, but extremely sloppy. It just fell apart. Soaked through the wrapper and the bread was extremely soggy I couldn't really enjoy, but I did take it to go so maybe that's what it could be. I ended up having to toss the last bit just because it was so messy. It was still nice and hot once I got to my destination 20 mins later. I did enjoy the gold sauce and the vegan cheese.
