Located in a plaza with plenty of parking!! They have outdoor and indoor seating. They have a great selection of drinks and food items. I decided to try the Iced vanilla oat latte which was delicious. It was so smooth & you could taste both the coffee and the vanilla! Nothing was over powering and I can definitely see myself returning.

They seem to be always out of bagels after 1:30pm. It's the third time! But they made my "Locals Only" cream cheese, egg & cheddar in a croissant instead! Still yummy! I can never go wrong w/ my iced chai latte. I like how they have a station where i can add as much cinnamon and vanilla to my drink too! Not so much seating inside but definitely more outside! They are open 6am-3pm all days!

Matcha was 10/10. Good portion not too sweet and was actually flavorful. The matcha had a nice flavor because of the maple. The avocado on the bagel had a nice acidity to it (maybe lemon/lime) either way it went excellent with the egg and the bagel. Portion is generous and it is a big bagel. Service was quick. Cool spot to try and go to.

Honestly a super cute shop but the barista with the inside-out shirt, rosy cheeks, and dark hair made my visit here awful. Aside from the rudeness and clear disdain for being there, she made the mocha I ordered carelessly. Received it with a mountain of sugar crystals at the bottom that stuck to the inside of the straw with every sip. I've ordered the same drink at the other Local Grind and I KNOW the version I received today was not supposed to taste like liquid diabetes. Aside from that , 4 tables inside and there are outlets! Look low. They offer self serve tap water and free coffee grounds for your garden. There's a variety of merch available and tasty pastries.

The service was amazing! I love going back to places where there's good service. I tried the triple chocolate shake and it was, well, very chocolatey! We also got a 24 oz white chocolate with raspberry foam and got a 16 oz but since it was made already we didn't feel the need to have it remade. Even though there was a small mistake, the drinks and service were too good to not come back!

First timer here! I am always up to trying new coffee spots. The cafe is clean, cool and quiet. Not a whole lot of seating but there is indoor and outdoor seating. The iced white mocha coffee was delicious. The staff was really sweet and nice.

I think the workers are very nice. However I wouldn't recommend it for coffee, the iced coffee and the latter I had didn't have much flavor at all. I would recommend a sandwich from them though I liked that the bagel bread wasn't very thick and too much bread. We got the bacon cheddar bread for our sandwiches and it was really good. I would say my bf sandwich of the sausage was kind of dry I would maybe get the bacon omelette breakfast instead. But I'd recommend the ham and cheese sandwich it was yummy

Iced latte with oat milk & mint My coffee has a slight green tint due to the yummy mint flavor. They don't drown their drink in ice. The coffee, mint flavor shines through. The ham and cheese croissant, the layers are flaky, not too much butter, and good balance of ham and cheese. Fast service and friendly staff

This coffee shop is everything I would expect from a local coffee shop. I had their lox bagel - very good, definitely recommend. I also had a latte and that was also yummy. It's not the closest shop to me, so not sure if I would go out of my way to visit again, but if I were in the area I definitely would dine in again. Great stuff @ Local Grind Coffee & Cafe!

We were in the area and in need of some caffeine ASAP. Local Grind just happened to pop up in our Yelp search so we made a quick u-turn to arrive to a busy cafe. The place smelled great and if we had had time, we would have gotten a bite to eat; the bagels looked delicious. I could tell that this lives up to its name with the number of what looked like locals hanging out and enjoying their breakfasts. I just had my standard oat milk latte and it was made just right, i.e., not a hint of charred or burnt taste. If we're back in the area, I'll return to try some food.

    Turkey bagel

My sister and I stopped by after visiting our friend in the same plaza. We got the turkey bagel and the local bagel with pesto. They were out of plain bagels so I got the everything bagel. The local bagel had the world's smallest amount of egg, but it was still pretty tasty. My sister enjoyed the turkey bagel and was pleased with the amount of turkey, but it wasn't evenly distributed through the whole sandwich. I also got the seasonal pumpkin cheese muffin. It took longer than the bagel sandwiches to get and I had to remind them to get it. It was very rich. I was only able to eat half of it. Overall, it's a cute cafe with a small gift section and satisfactory food. It's ADA friendly and with outdoor seating. Maybe I'll try something else next time.

iced matcha latte and a "build your own" sandwich on a rustic roll (ciabatta bread)
    Christa H.

chill, local spot for coffee, bagels, and drinks. i like that they make everything to order, so it does take a while to get your food on a weekend. it's not too bad tho. i got their iced matcha latte with a vanilla bean cold foam and a build your own sandwich. it seems they change their flavors every so often, so it keeps the menu fresh. if you're coming here to get work done tho, it's hard. there's only one table that has an outlet available.

$12 for this simple turkey sandwich. Found this place overpriced sadly. Didn't try their drinks though.

I was first introduced to the café when I wanted a drink. The butterfly lemonade is the perfect thirst quencher. The lemonade is freshly squeezed from the lemon in the refrigerator case. You see her grab the lemon and hand juice it. The butterfly tea is then freshly brewed and added at the top giving you a drink with blue on top and lemon color on the bottom. The magic is when you mix it. Try it! When I had more time, I tried the beet salad. Its made to order. Fresh everything, crisp salad, candied walnuts, feta sprinkled on top, and the perfect raspberry vinaigrette to finish it off. It comes with toasted bread that gives you just enough carbs to round out the salad. The mushroom melt is packed with mushrooms and I always ask for havarti as its my favorite. She is flexible when she is able to (ingredient availability or pre-prepped). But it is no small sandwich. I usually get the soup and sandwich. I have tried the tomato, mushroom, and lentil soups. All very filling and compliments the sandwich. Mushroom soup is seasonal so when you see it, try it. It is amazing. The impossible Caesar salad is made so fresh as if it is straight from the farm. The café also serves coffee items. Be sure you head over early though. It closes right when late lunch turns to early dinner or if she is out of main ingredients.

I ordered the cortado which was a decent drink and I thought I was going to get it in a dine in cup like the pictures but no. So onto to the sandwich I ordered which was the Mushroom Melt and it did deliver with cheese but it looked like they threw in a couple or so of mushrooms and called it a day. The service felt like I was a bother to them or her I should say. It rattles me when the person taking your order is fidgety and looks like she had better things to do. Maybe the college students that come don't mind but I definitely do. I'm really surprised they're still in business. And that's my take on this failed adventure, Peace out...

Blocks for having similar sentiments and shared experiences. IF I WERE ANTI-trans, then I would not have supported you and would not have given you my money. I gave you my money, and unfortunately, you continued to deliver $#!t service. Notice how you do not deny your awful and discriminatory service? Exactly... get out of my neighborhood with your stolen logos. I am disappointed at the fact that people continue to fall for this awful coffee shop that continues to profit of the community through their culture vulture ways. Are people not seeing that this is ran by a cult? The food is awful. Matcha could be better, but it lacks so much potential. The burritos are dry and not fresh. The ambience is filled with performative events, and the owners do not give back to the community. They continue to attract the wrong crowd causing displacement in the local community. Discrimination? ya, let's dialogue... true LB natives know this is not the place for black or brown people. You will be heavily discriminated. Also, check out Mooneyes auto parts. Do y'all see the resemblance in their logo and good time logo? That should say a lot about business and community ethics. I suggest y'all stop supporting places such as Good Time and visit other non-cult like and. ACTUAL POC owned coffee shops in the local area.

It felt like I was being singled out for no reason, and the repeated attention was embarrassing and unnecessary. This is a coffee shop. We're not trying to budge the line just because we're brown people. I've never been to a coffee shop where employees were so focused on making a customer feel uncomfortable instead of simply serving people.
