The restaurant was fine. They got my order wrong twice. Won't go back anytime soon.

Food is delicious but a bit pricey. Service was not great. Another very noisy restaurant. I would go again but it won't be a regular place.

Local Lime has a lot of potential. The space was trendy and clean, but a little loud. Service was great, our server, Chloe, was super sweet and friendly, was pretty knowledgeable about the menu, and was able to quickly handle a small problem on our bill at the end of our visit. Menu prices were different from the prices on the check (albeit, lower, so that's definitely a plus, but the difference makes the establishment seem disorganized.) The food was pretty good, we started with the queso flameado with chorizo (but it arrived without said chorizo), a few tacos, the ahi ceviche, and the birria quesadilla to go. The birria quesadilla was the most delicious item we had, but it was disappointing to find the additional things it was supposed to be served with (guacamole, radish, lime, jalapeños, and cilantro) missing from the to go box. With a few tweaks of attention to detail when it comes to the food and menu, Local Lime will be an excellent addition to the Memphis dining scene. read more

I was super excited about this place opening and it certainly did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly. The margaritas were amazing. I've been twice now and have had fresco bowl (it was amazing) and the crunchy ahi tuna taco. Also I am super picky about my guacamole and it's very flavorful. The place itself has a super cool vibe. We tried this place last night for the first time and it was Great! We had the guacamole, fish tacos, steak nachos and key lime cheesecake. It was all delicious and fresh. Our waiter Antonio was attentive and friendly. What a great addition to Germantown!! read more

Tried to go twice but long lines waiting. Finally got in around 2 idle of wk . This is a happening place! It's where JCrew was. No trouble finding it in Saddle Creek , just see where a gazillion cars are parked . This place has a super Margarita and the food is excellent . Only had to wait about 15 minutes and hostess was happy to be showing us to our table. The inside is decorated modern style and the hanging lightbulbs near the bar created a happy atmosphere .I had the enchilada with sides of beans and rice. Trust me, these beans are are cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasonings and rice is good without lots of seasonings . There were 3 enchiladas on plate covered in cheese ( these were chicken and perfectly flavored) we plan to go back and try everything on the menu , not a one time but can't wait to go several times next wk read more

We enjoy coming to Lical Lume for the food. Be prepared to wait even during a week night. The servers are normally good but the place is very loud. I hope this establishment remains successful but I would suggest having some more attentive greeters and opening up other sections of the restaurant that are available but not being used. read more

This is our third visit and I've revised my rating to a 5. The food has been consistently good and service has improved tremendously. There's something for everyone here and this restaurant is here to stay. If you get here before 530, you won't have to wait to be seated. read more

The food is okay. However, it not exactly the real deal like Mexican food should be. Our waiter was okay but not like super. He only check if we were okay. He never came by if we need refills or any other food, etc. The place was loud as well. The host was not too friendly. She may have been the co-owner or manager. No smile or welcome. I wanna start off with the drinks. 10/10 Super good and strong. From here it's down hill. I ordered the ribeye nacho bites and the steak was so tough. I was literally fighting with my food. And I've been here multiple times and it was the same. Also it's so cold I can't even think straight. I think they do it on purpose so that we leave early which I don't blame them. Enjoyed trying the new SPOT in Germantown. It was hopping for a Thursday night. Other customers said it's stayed busy since opening. I loved how fresh the ingredients were. The limeade is a must try! The food and service was amazing! Went here for my birthday so there were about 11 in my party. I recommend the ribeye steak tacos, the cilantro lime rice and the salsa flight. The flaming fondue was also delish as an appetizer. I'll definitely be going back soon. read more

Very busy but not out the door, which was a nice surprise. We asked for outside seating because the restaurant is so loud. The FLIES!!!!! Everywhere. No pest control that we could see. And when we left we realized the outdoor patio backs right up to their garbage area. Our food came out cold so we just got it to go and left. the chicken nacho bites appetizer were very good. Food was fine. Margaritas were the best part about the experience. Service was okay, we had several things ordered that never came. The interior is cute, however the tables were large, so you kind of sit further away from the people you're with, and it's also extremely loud so you really can't even have a conversation. I really think it would behoove this place to implement a reservation system. It's always a 30+ minute wait and you can not make reservations nor can you call and have your name added to the list. Your only option is to walk in and add your name to the list and wait. It is also EXTREMELY LOUD. I have not gotten a chance to eat here because it's sensory overload in the waiting area and I just can not sit there for that long nor do I want to wait in my car that long. 3 stars because I can not comment on the food and I can't leave a starless review. But seriously, do something about the forced waiting in your 90000 decibel restaurant. read more

Nice upscale casual environment. They were very busy around 6PM for dinner, but we were seated quickly. The service was good, not great, but attentive and quick. I ordered a bowl which was a good choice. The ingredients were fresh and mixed well. I added chicken. The chicken was little too charred for me, but it was edible with the other toppings and dressings. Cost was about $20 for the bowl, plus $12 or so for a drink. We will give it another try. Finally scored a table at this place on the fourth try. It took a dismal rainy day and a 4pm arrival, but we got seated immediately. The menu is pretty much just tequila, Mexican food, and a couple of beer selections. While the entrees seem varied and tempting, my Dixon Chicken Enchiladas were no better than frozen dinner quality and came encased in thick melted cheese. The "fresh jalapeños" listed as a topping turned out to be one tiny shard perched on the cheese shell. The dual ramekins of cilantro lime rice and black beans were tasty, and I thought they complimented the meal nicely. My date enjoyed her chicken street tacos but left her "drunken pintos beans" and jicama slaw after a couple of bites. Our servers were very gracious but I noticed a dropoff in attentiveness as the place got more crowded (and LOUD.) Singles and flights of tequila were wildly overpriced from my experience and we basically enjoyed a Stouffer-level meal at Capital Grille prices. (To be fair, our booze was a big percentage, but we're not huge drinkers and we indulged at the same level we would anywhere else. It just seemed to have a very different impact on the bottom line.) Today was my second visit to Local Lime; and it will be my last. First, we were seated at a table not assigned to a waiter. Second, my set of silverware had an entire meal dried up on it. Third, my beverage order was incorrect. Lastly, the food was just okay. Nothing to brag about. New management and additional staff training is a must!!
