I lost one set of car keys and didn't want to be caught without a spare, but I lost them just before the holidays and am on a razor thin budget. I arranged to meet at the Santa Rosa office, and then cancelled the day before as I just wanted to ensure I could stretch $ before the holidays. I texted the next week and, again, within 3 minutes a text came back. Turns out my car had the earliest year of these electronic keys and it was a bit of challenge to get the right stock, but even given that, I was out the door in 20 minutes. They were great. Came to my home as scheduled and on a very hot day made me a new set of car keys in less than an hour. They were the best price of three places I called. One "local" locksmith asked me for a bunch of contact info, even though I told them I only wanted a quote. After I'd given it they told me they'd have to have someone call me back. Ok, let's say the maids at the hotel you're staying at accidentally throws your [car] keys away. You're out of town & have no nearby resources. So some frustration & anxiety starts to set in. These guys were great. My key could not rotate the Ignition switch in 2004 Honda, had to have the car towed out there. It was looking dire at first, but they got right to it . . . couple of hours later, I had my car back, the ignition switch and key all worked, they cut a new key, and cost was very reasonable (compared to the Honda dealership, which was beyond ridiculous). Joshua (the owner) did a great job taking the old Yakima bike rack off the back of my car - I had lost the key a few years prior and two separate locksmiths said they couldn't help me since I didn't have the key code for the lock.
