When we showed up at 6:00 PM there were only six other people in the restaurant. I counted because I found it to be very odd. While we had not been in forever my girlfriend and I used to enjoy this spot. One of the couples had to chase down the waiter in order to pay, and I should have trusted my gut and left. The wings savored the experience as they had the crispness and flavor. Unfortunately the fries came out cold and barely cooked. The real disappointment was the steak. Tough and flavorless. So last week we went to the locos in Athens GA. Everything was GREAT!! So I figured this week we'd come to the one in our hometown, Gainesville, GA. I ordered the EXACT same thing. Only to be disappointed, my Bayou Burger with Chicken breast is super sad and my fries aren't fresh. The chicken tenders look like they're from the bottom of the bag and they're 6 bucks smh. We went to Locos for a fundraiser concert. The atmosphere was excellent. We came with the intent of eating dinner as well but the area where the concert was at was full to bursting so we picked a booth outside the bar area. The servers were crazy busy with all the people there so service was a little slow and a glitch with their printer in the kitchen delayed the food orders. But management took care of part of the bill and everyone was very nice about the whole thing. The food was good. They have amazing fries! My only complaint is the drink selection. No bottled drinks other than beer. I am a mikes lemonade or Smirnoff girl and they didnt have anything in that neighborhood. Still a good time though. We stayed about four hours for music and dancing. Definitely a nice little place. read more

Appetizer came out with the meal, had to ask for a fork and got plastic take out utensils with a shrug and a mumbled "we're out of the regular stuff", tea never refilled, grease dripped off the potato skins, no offer for a take out tray when only half of the food was eaten-couldn't manage any more of the grease anyway. First time eating at this location but I have eaten at many others before. The food was good, I ordered an item that is no longer on the menu and they were happy to make it for me. My wife had the chicken tenders and they appeared hand beaded and were good. They were having trivia night which was also a nice distraction and the service was good. So the food was good but the building is very tired looking. There were seats with torn off vinyl, the wall beside the both was nasty looking and the receptacle cover bedside my leg was missing causing a potential shock hazard. The shared men/women bathroom was also pretty run down. Basically the location needs an update. read more

We walked into this Sports Bar restaurant on a Friday night about 8:30. There were 7 patrons + the 5 of us. Should have been the first warning. Not crazy busy on a Friday night? Waitress was nice & attentive, and then the food came out. I ordered chicken tenders and I thought they'd messed up the order and brought shrimp. The tenders were about the size of jumbo shrimp. We asked for the manager about 4 times, and were told that he was busy "in the back, making up schedules" and was too busy to come out. We waited another 30 minutes, generously tipped the waitress and left. We went back about 20 minutes later (around 10 pm), and by that time there were only 3 people in the entire restaurant. TVs blaring with football games, pool table empty, empty sports bar on a Griday night. Screams of poor customer service and lousy food. We're frequent patrons of Loco's NO MORE! No wonder the place was empty on a Friday night. Stay away unless you want to be ignored and served meager portions of food. read more

Had lunch here today-very friendly service. The burgers were delicious and there was alot of variey. Would definitely go back.

After hearing my coworkers speak highly of this place as a lunch destination. My girlfriend and I decided to try it for dinner. The results were not positive. The service was extremely slow. Our drinks ran dry pretty quickly and were never refreshed. The food was sub-par at best. We ordered the moose mix up appetizer. It came out after a long wait and only a minute before our food. My girlfriend's grilled chicken sandwich, the rooster, was dry. I got the Moose which was roast beef, coleslaw and horseradish. It was an interesting combo but a little heavy on the horseradish. The restaurant did take on drink and the app off the bill as an apology for the slow service but I don't think we'll be returning. read more

I've eaten here before with pretty good results but today was different. I had never had fish tacos so I though I would try this new item on their menu. My friend ordered the regular tacos. I've had tacos at many places and they all included lettuce and tomato but not these. The fish came with mango salsa and the chicken came with pico de gallo. Both fish and chicken was generally tasteless. I'll come back for their burgers but no more Locos tacos for us. read more

I have ordered from this restaurant over 20 times in the last year and a half suspiciously now they don't deliver to my location?????... I have recommended them to over 20 different people and some of my friends diner there regularly...I was supposed to hangout with a few tomorrow night, I will not now, and I will also discourage anyone from using them to be catered. I'm celiac and I ordered from this location this weekend, I expressed how important it was that my food didn't have any gluten in it or near and they said they could do that. When the delivery driver arrived and I got my plate it had 2 pieces of bread in the container and my coleslaw had a piece of pasta salad in it. When I called them back they agreed to recoil the meal and send it back out when the driver arrived they had left out my loaded baked potato so when I called AGAIN they got an attitude and said so you want us to come back out just for a potato!? I said yes I paid for it and they responded with you do know this is a gluten containing restaurant right I said yes but of the staff changes their gloves and you keep it separate it shine fine. I've been eating at Locos for years and the service and quality of food have gotten terrible. The last time I ate there the restaurant was as dirty as I have ever seen it. I complained about my food being served on a dirty plate and dirty silverware. The manager acted like I was annoying him because I pointed this out. It is sad to see how bad this restaurant has become. I will never go back with all the other options we now have in Gainesville. read more

Great food and fantastic service. Our waitress is always extremely attentive and friendly. We love going on Tuesdays for the Burger Night are Never disappointed with the taste or the portions. Try the Eldorado Burger with the egg on it---Wonderful!!! read more
