    Sprinkles makes cakes now :)
    Heather S.

When I first moved out here, Sprinkles was one of the first place I was introduced to. It played such an important role in all of life's most important events. So sad for all of us to lose this place.

Matcha. It was alright. Did not taste anything like matcha green tea. I think the frosting overpowered the flavor.

What happened to the famous Sprinkles cupcakes location I once knew and loved back in 2006-2010?!?! Originally wanted to take my husband here because I told him this is THE original location for Sprinkles cupcakes. This place used to have lines and the excitement of seeing all the available cupcake flavors to choose from as you finally enter inside. Imagine my disappointment when I arrived on a Saturday afternoon only to find the door locked, the inside was dark and no cupcakes to be found. All I got waiting for me was one of those ATM cupcake machines. My transaction was anything less than eventful. Ugh. Despite being delivered through an automated system, the cupcakes still tasted good. My favorite will always be the red velvet. That's why this is a two star review versus one. The other reviews I looked at briefly were for online orders/pick up only? Is this storefront not in business anymore or what?! Sad to say the cupcakes I was once obsessed with is no longer what it was.

OG Sprinkles spot. Clean, quick, and delicious cupcakes. Plenty of street parking. In and out in minutes, no lines, like ever. You're welcome xx Cheers to originals Yelpers xx

Sprinkles is my go-to for guaranteed delicious cupcakes. They recently came out with mini-cupcake packs. I got the fall variety pack. It comes with three cupcake flavors. There was salted caramel, pumpkin, and red velvet. They were a bit pricier than I expected but it was for a special occasion so I decided to splurge a bit. So happy I did! The cupcakes tasted freshly baked and were so yummy! I love that they are small so that I can satisfy my sweet tooth without feeling like I'm eating a huge cupcake. Everyone was so happy. I also tried the special chai sugar cookie cupcake. Not only was it really pretty with purple sugar sprinkled on top but the flavors of this cupcake were amazing. Not too sweet either. Just right. I hope they have it again as the special soon. It was so magical!! You can get Sprinkles cupcakes all day long as there is also a cupcake ATM outside. There are always different people working here when I go. But the service this time was very pleasant from the lady behind the counter. They are cashless. Also, sign up for the rewards program. Metered parking on the street and public lots nearby. Walking distance from Rodeo Drive. There are so many Sprinkle's cupcake locations now but this is the original one. It's small and there's not really anywhere to sit but the cupcakes are definitely worth the take-out visit!

Friendly service . Bummed no more carrot cake cupcakes :( came in specific for that one . The girl at the counter was cute and friendly ended up getting banana and red velvet .

There is so much hype around this cupcake shop but I feel the flavours could be more unique and the cupcakes could be lighter and fluffier. The icing is super sweet. Now when it comes to aesthetics, it's 100% a pretty cupcake and you can't go wrong bringing sprinkles cupcakes over to a friends place but I wouldn't opt for this item when it comes to more special occasions like a birthday. The service is quick but near dismissive. There's a lot of cupcake spots around or at least a ton of bakeries offering them and I don't see much of a difference that makes sprinkles a standout, especially now that they've practically been phased out.

    Salty caramel and Santa baby
    Natalie J.

Came in for their Seasonal cupcakes! They had Xmas cookie topped with a little candy cane cookie, Santa Baby topped with red, white and green sprinkles (i'm not a sprinkles girl but my nephew absolutely loves sprinkles) and their Salty Caramel. They were beyond tasty. Please be warned, they are sweet cupcakes. So if you aren't too fond of sweet, then this may be too much for your taste buds. The space is clean and the staff in the front despite it being busy were nice. I don't come here often but it's always great to try their seasonal stuff.

Best cupcakes!!!! You must have these. Totally addicting. There is a Sprinkles cupcake ATM out front, which is kitschy and fun if that's what you're looking for. Shop is pretty typical on the inside -- just a counter to order cupcakes with a bakery case to pick from. Staff is always perky.

I think Sprinkles is so overhyped. The cupcakes are overly sweet, especially the frosting. They have a storefront and next door you pick up pre-orders. There's many free parking lots nearby so that's a plus

I recently ordered a dozen cupcakes for a special birthday and was really impressed--the box and packaging were amazing! That experience in the past made me excited to order again, so I also placed a separate order for a single cupcake as a birthday gift and paid extra for the individual "favor box." Unfortunately, that cupcake was just placed in a paper bag, which was really disappointing given the extra charge and the occasion. I reached out to customer service and was refunded the $0.50, which I appreciate, but it still felt like a letdown--especially considering how much I spent overall on the cupcakes plus delivery. I'm honestly pretty bummed and probably won't order again, which is a shame because the first order had so much potential. The frosting seeped through the paper and it looked so messy I couldn't even give it as a gift .

Copy of order from damaged and 1 missing limited edition cupcake.

**AVOID ORDERING ONLINE FROM SPRINKLES** As a loyal customer since 2015 and perks member since 2016 it is most unfortunate that I have to resort to leaving a negative review; however, after giving them every opportunity to remedy the situation, this is the only option because of their recent commitment to poor customer service. On May 2, 2025, I placed a large *delivery* order for 4 and half dz cupcakes from this same location for delivery on May 6, 2025. The driver got slightly confused; however, otherwise the cupcakes were delivered in good shape as ordered without any missing items. (order attached) On May 18, 2025, I placed a much smaller *delivery* order for half a dz cupcakes one of which was the limited-edition Pineapple Upside Down Cupcake, which was missing. In addition, the cupcakes were damaged and tossed all over the box. I sent a photo direct via email. Their remedy was to question if I had removed a cupcake because there was an imprint in the empty space and then offer a comp. cupcake "the next time I was in the BH store". I escalated this to Corp. customer service and they said the store manager determines the resolution. If I ordered *DELIVERY* why should I come to your store to fix the problem you created??? Sprinkles just lost a loyal customer!

This is my second time ordering from Sprinkles for a party - the first time I got their red velvet cake with a custom message and this time I got a custom box of a dozen cupcakes! I loved that you can pick exactly what flavors and sugar decorations you want for each cupcake. It is ~$70, closer to $80 if you want delivery. They use Door Dash to deliver so it was a pretty seamless process. I had them set to arrive about 2 hr before my party and put them in the fridge, but I probably should've kept them out since the frosting got a bit too hard. Even so the cupcakes were delicious! They were missing one of the sugar decorations but that's ok. I think they did a great job and would order again!! Great for special occasions, albeit a bit pricier than other spots. For the levels of customization and delivery option, I thought it was worth it! I also ordered only a day or two in advance so it is pretty fast turnaround! Thanks!

    Nijole T.

I have been coming here for many years, and they never disappoint! The cupcakes are delicious and always fresh, service is wonderful. I love that they always think of new flavors and bring back returning seasonal ones. Ideal for parties or special occasions. Highly recommended!

Though I've been here just once (for lunch), I am already plotting my return. I arrived a bit earlier than my friends and in so doing, accidentally avoided the start of the lunch rush. As there are not many tables here, I feel I lucked out snagging a table for us. As I took at the cozy, classy splendor of a still very new establishment, the relaxed but polished decor was both inspiring and low-key. I had an excellent espresso while I got my wish: extended time to take in the menus. The drink menu, and the food menu. It's my favorite when that part of the cafe/restaurant experience delivers tons of time to get really acquainted with a place. Our friendly, helpful server asked the questions I had about the menu, and the time he didn't know he went and found out. Breakfast is served all day, by the way. My friend started with the sausage rolls (accompanied by the freshly made ketchup). Delicious and great for a table starter or a fairly light entree. Good crunch, and moist inside with plenty of seasoning. My entree was the black forest ham quiche. It was indicative of everything else here: the right size, the right mix of produce, protein, fluffy, cheesy egg inside, and anchored by a subtle but first-rate crust. It's served with a fennel based salad, a crisp and a great complement. We were happy and satisfied sooner than expected (alas, Le Moules must wait). Still, I could not resist a little dessert and ordered the Pain Aux Apricot. It was fantastic, something out of a cafe in Paris. Crisp and light and just sweet enough. Appreciated the friendly service. A steady diet of 70's soft-rock quietly served as the soundtrack at this one lunch. There is easily accessible parking on the street or mostly-free city lot.

The savory and sweet food is SO GOOD!! The service is better than any other local places, and very low-pressure. I say all of this from the perspective of someone who has worked alongside Physics PhD researchers and about five different Michelin-starred chefs. First of all, for how tucked-away Sweet Angeles is, this cafe/small restaurant felt like a hidden gem! They have FILET MIGNON on a dinner menu??!! I must, must, MUST come back to try that!! Veronica, with her incredible tray of sweet samples, piqued my curiosity to enter Sweet Angeles, but "B" is definitely the person who convinced me to stay! As a coffee scientist (and perhaps snob? ) of decades, I had far, FAR too many annoying questions to ask, and "B" both tolerated and answered each of them with a degree of empathy that was top-notch and rarely found in LA nowadays. Really more of a Ritz-Carlton level of customer service than a cafe experience. The owners should be very proud of this. I only ordered a bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese (and what they call "coffee"), but the sandwich was SO perfect! You'd be amazed by how many cafes screw up something with only three ingredients, but this was likely better than one I would make myself. The sweets are TRULY unique in their construction, presentation, texture, and flavor -- DO try the one with pistachio and raspberry, as well as the "Nutella one that's fluffy like a pillow" -- you WILL NOT be disappointed!! As I was leaving, "B" asked my honest 1-10 opinion of the cafe. I told her I'd give it a 9/10, which in Yelp-land amounts to a solid five stars. The few small things that are "off" or otherwise "wrong" about Sweet Angeles? They are listed below, but I remind you, EVERY business can always improve no matter how wonderful they are. #1 -- This one is bad for the owners, but GREAT for the customers! THE SAVORY FOOD PRICES ARE TOO LOW!! At a VERY over-rated Ukrainian cafe, I paid DOUBLE for a bagel/lox/cream cheese sandwich that was inedible, and Sweet Angeles still has to pay their Rodeo Drive rent prices! They could increase food prices significantly if they wanted. #2, 3, and 4 -- The espresso is overpriced (~$6 for a plain black shot), the machine is a budget touch-screen model (not commercial-grade), and the beans are over-roasted and generic. For context, a proper shot should be ~$4.50 max, and this was a one-button operation worth about the price of its paper cup. I'd expect this hospital/airport-quality to be priced ~$2.25-$3.25. That said, this is a BUSINESS OWNER decision and does NOT reflect the excellent warmth and service of the employees. I understand that Armenians have different tastes (compared to modern, specialty, or "3rd wave" Western palates) regarding coffee, and they have their own distinct methods of producing it. This was NOT Armenian-style coffee, which is something I would LOVE to see at a shop like this () -- single-served "Jazzve" coffees which take a couple of minutes to make, rather than the plastic "espresso machine" with the plastic hot water tubing and other parts. I want to reiterate that the food was FANTASTIC and actually under-priced, and the employees were extremely welcoming and very kind considering the endless questions I asked. If the manager or owners just so happen to read this 10-page essay, I want to say this... I would happily help you (possibly even for free) with: 1. finding proper coffee beans at an affordable price, 2. finding someone to buy the pretend espresso machine, 3. finding, buying, or financing a new (or lightly used) proper espresso machine, 4. buying a couple of high-quality grinders (very crucial), and 5. training on how to produce the basic espresso drinks in the way that local AND international customers have come to expect in this city, and I'd also be happy to teach latte art. AGAIN, I still give this place a 9 out of 10, because it's obviously a bakery before it's a coffee shop. When asked, I told "B" the shop's a 9/10, but the coffee was a 2/10, but I was being polite. The coffee was really and truly a 1/10. Maybe it tastes better with matcha, food coloring, and various milk products? Who knows. But if the owners/management want to make Sweet Angeles a 12 out of 10, and genuinely achieve excellence, they should feel very welcome to reply to this 5-star review and get in contact with me. Good coffee is often the difference between a business "just surviving" and truly winning the game. From the heart -- I wish you all the best, Sweet Angeles!

Service was a little slow at first and there was only one family ahead of me. Perhaps they were busy making their orders. They only had one person working at the counter. However, once the representative approached me, he took his time helping me choose my order and he was very nice. I found this place while searching for cupcakes on Yelp. There are not many cupcake options in the area anymore. However, I learned they only have cupcakes available for preordering. There were none in store which was disappointing. Additionally, I did not see a lot of the pastries that are shown on Yelp. Seems like they changed their dessert menu within the last year. They do have little pastries, cakes, drinks, and a savory menu with crepes. The pastries are gorgeous and I was excited to try them. However, according to the representative most are made with beef gelatin and are therefore, not vegetarian so, being a vegetarian, my options were limited. I appreciate that he let me know. They did have a vegetarian option for me though. I ordered the raspberry cake. It was delightful. Not as showy as the mousse gelatin desserts but still a pretty dessert and very tasty and melt in my mouth soft. Overall, a cute yet very touristy place to visit. Since options for me were limited I probably would not return as it is out of the way but I do think it was worth a try and a one time treat and what I got was delicious. Parking on the street. Valet parking available next door. Public parking lots nearby.

I'll definitely be going back.
