Incredibly generous portions in a cozy spot. Seating is very limited but the staff do a good job keeping the tables turning. Came here for lunch with my mom. She got a Cesar salad and I got the penne pasta with pesto. Portions very generous in 2025 for the price and the soup and pasta came along with a large side of bread. Will come back for breakfast and lunch!

As someone who does not keep kosher, it's normally hard for me to say I actually like a kosher restaurant... but Lamalo is one of my favorite local gems! Depending on how busy they are, you are either sat at a table and they take your order, or you order at the counter and seat yourself. I have been in both instances. My go to order is the sunshine b'boker. It's so much food that if I eat it for breakfast, I don't eat again until dinner. I also tasted the grilled cheese and Mac and cheese. (Are you sensing a theme here? ) both were also delish. The house bread is to die for. The saddest part about this is that you can't buy a loaf of the house bread to take home. We love coming here!

Really cute place on an unassuming corner of Pico near Robertson. Tables inside and a few on the sidewalk. Nice ambience. Sweet wait staff. We had some delicious dishes. Salad with feta, olives, plus tahini was huge and fresh. All ingredients were chopped nicely. Companions had a breakfast "burrito"-an interpretation of a burrito- very light and more like a wrap. This place is Kosher so do the math. Another dish was miso salmon- a beautiful dish and also very tasty and fresh. Other offerings to try next time for me are the Quiche and the grilled cheese and tomato soup- that might have to wait for cooler weather. A cute little lunch venue.

Got the Croissant Egg n'Cheese. The egg was tasty, especially with the avacado combination. Thought the croissant was a bit tough and chewy

Just tried this amazing restaurant and bakery this morning. I'm so glad we did. The friendliest staff made our breakfast so enjoyable. The food was amazing. The bread is a real standout. We got the morning glory focaccia and the egg and cheese croissant. We will definitely be back. Their cookies are incredible, too! We go to a lot of places near Pico/Robertson and the beautiful interior and amazing food here will make us regulars at this place from now on.

Still my favorite brunch spot!! The boreka sandwich was the yummiest I've ever had and SO messy but so worth it.

First time here, and the food is great. As a caveat I walked in knowing the cafe specializes in kosher style food. Although my diet doesn't require kosher, I wanted to try something new. Walking in it was busy, but the service is quick and excellent and the food came out in a timely manner. The place is clean and ambiance is pleasant. I was also pleased with the prices. LA cafe's feel hugely overpriced lately, and this place was fairly priced. I ordered the salmon burger, and vanilla latte. The salmon burger was solid and the salad and potatoes it came with were great. The latte was flavorful while not being too sweet. I was gifted a blueberry pie by the manager or owner unprompted which was a pleasant surprise. One of the best pies I've ever had. The bottom was moist while the top kept a nice crunch. As well as the berries complementing it all together. While free food doesn't sway my review, it showed me that the management is active in take care of guests. I'll be coming back!

Orange Blossom Almond Croissant -personally was disgusting, orange blossom was extremely strong. Too fragrant that it tasted like a floral bath bomb or soap. Some do like this but it wasn't for me. Passionfruit cream filling wasn't too sweet. I loved the tart passionfruit seeds. But you might want to scoop some out if you don't enjoy too much sourness. Elderflower Rhubarb Danish - way too crunchy, would prefer it to be crispy instead of a crunch. Filling was good, not too sweet. Black Sesame Parisian Flan -if you love black sesame, this would be right up your alley. Perfect sweet treat to bring to any auntie's home! Blueberry Tea Scone -not too dense. Surprisingly not too sweet even with the demerara sugar coating. It wasn't really crunchy but more sticky and caramelized from sitting.

Not sure if there is a consistent long line every weekend since it was a holiday, but my initial thought was either this place has really good pastries and cakes or it can be just all hype. At the end we were pleasantly told our order came with two complimentary macarons so we got the cookoes and cream and passionfruit. Afterwards, we sat at the store to try the danish since we were hungry. Have to say it measures up to another one of my favorite patisseries that is located in Del Mar called Clemente. The danish texture was soft yet super flakey, and the thin layer of vanilla cream to strawberry ratio was perfection. It's so hard to find places that have exceptional quality croissant pastries, but this place is on the top of our list for LA. We enjoyed the cakes at home afterwards, but everything was so delicious. Unfortunately we forgot to take oir own ice packs and took a minute to get back home so the cakes slightly melted, but even after putting them in the fridge to enjoy later, they were so good! I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I normally prefer to avoid most "truffle" anything due to questionable quality and its tendency to overpower any other taste, but this one was the OG! The fresh truffle shavings along with the truffle pate added a pleasant earthiness to the rich and salty cheeses. We accepted the waiter's offer to spread the egg yolk over the pizza.
