Started off with the fried Mac and cheese that was perfectly fried, crispy & golden brown. For my main dish I had a French dip with onion rings. The French dip was piled high and very tasty. The onion rings were HUGE and once again perfect to fried and crispy. I'm not a very big craft beer person so I ordered the lightest beer they had and it was close to like a Coors light (my favorite beer) and it was pretty good (lol Coors is my favorite). It's been over ten years since I lasted visited the Lodi Beer Company and it's great to see that the restaurant has expanded and created a new entrance into the dining area. Everything is grand here. The large beautiful mirrors, copper fermenters, and deep brown bar has the modern industrial vibe that will surely be a winner for anyone and everyone. Lunch on a Sunday was pretty packed. However we grabbed the bar stools and had a few drinks along with some appetizers. The bruschetta was delicious and refreshing, ahi salad (sans the avocado) was pretty good, and the fried macaroni and cheese was just as great as I last remembered it. The selection was perfect for our quick lunch. We needed to take the bruschetta to go and the bartender suggested separating the toppings and bread when packaging. This would avoid the soggy toast at the end of the night and even when we got home, it was still delicious. The service was pretty attentive. The bartender was always on the go serving drinks and taking additional orders. She was amazing at multitasking and never hovered. I can't stop thinking about that bruschetta so I'll have to make a stop whenever I'm in town specifically for that. read more

I work in Stockton and every time a corporate employee visits our local facility, we take them here for dinner. Make reservations in advance if you can, especially on weekends. They have a lot of tables, but it fills up. It's called Lodi Beer Co because it's a legit craft brewery, but if craft beer intimidates you, don't worry- they have plenty of other great drink options, and the food speaks for itself and is worth the visit on its own. Appetizers: We usually order a few bread loaves. It's basically a bread boule with vertical lines scored through the top making it pull apart. It's very good for tables of four or more. The bruschetta is also a popular option and is very savory and refreshing. The garlic fries are tossed in raw minced garlic, which is fine if that's your thing, but I prefer garlic powder or sautéed garlic on my garlic fries. Dinner: I've only ever had two dinner plates- the Caesar salad and the fish & chips. The Caesar salad was a nice big salad with semi-soft croutons. The fish and chips are always tasty. It's 4 pieces each about 5-6 inches long, and a side of regular-cut fries, along with a side of cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. The cocktail sauce was not overly horseradishy, which I appreciated, but the tartar sauce was bland and creamy. Still good fish and fries. I've had a few beers from their regular rotation, including the raspberry Hefeweizen, and their English Street Brown Ale. I've never had a bad beer. Their white wine selection is also solid. Overall it's a great restaurant. Always reliable service no matter when you go. It's a bit pricey (expect $15-$20 appetizers and $20-40 dinner plates) but as long as it remains reliable, it's worth the price. I will continue to frequent this restaurant for the foreseeable future. read more

However, the music was too loud for my tastes, and sharing such a thin wall between booths was slightly bothering to me. This is not their problem, more mine, but still caused the slightest amount of discomfort. The prices were high, 22 bucks for a burger, along with bs 15$+ corking fees and mandatory tips for parties of 8+. Beer was overpriced but solid quality. Just a few nights ago, we ordered a bunch of food to go from Lodi beer Company. Included in this was a full rack of barbecue ribs. I've tried ribs all over the country, from San Francisco to Memphis- the works. Our barbecue ribs from the Lodi beer Company were easily the best barbecue ribs I've had in my life! This was my first time at this establishment and I must say what a horrible experience! Ordered garlic fries and nachos as appetizers...the fries were cold and the the nachos bland. Sent back the fries and received hot fries. There was no garlic pieces on the fries just Parmesan cheese. Best garlic fries are at Oracle park! Lodi Beer Co is located in historic Downtown Lodi with plenty of free street parking available. My husband and I decided to make a to go order here for dinner last night. We came in at 6:15 pm and asked the seating hostess for a menu so that we could make a to go order. We were given one and told to head to the bar where we can make our to go order there. After browsing the menu, we ended up ordering: Bruschetta, $11 prior to tax- Since we ordered this starter to go, the tomatoes, onions and capers were packed in a separate container, feta cheese and balsamic vinegar also in separate containers. I just loved the tomato, chopped onions and caper oil mixture and thought it was delicious on its own (and also mixed in with the salad I ordered). When put all together, the bruschetta really worked well. Not being a big fan of feta cheese (or any blue vein cheeses), I thought all of it together really worked well. I would have liked more toasted sourdough breads. New Orleans Cajun Burger, $17.50 prior to tax- This burger is made with chipotle dressing, sautéed red peppers, grilled onions, pepper jack cheese and lettuce on a grilled bun. This burger is also served with fries. The burger itself didn't really work for my husband and I as a Cajun burger. The flavors reminded me more of something I would consider to be southwestern. There was a strong flavor of liquid smoke added to the flavor, that I suspect is to try to sell me on the Cajun seasoning.... it didn't work for me or this burger. The fries were okay but think it could have been better seasoned. I don't think is an entrée my husband would order again. Southwest Chicken Salad, $18 prior to tax- A pretty large portion and perfect for sharing. There was also plenty of chicken in this salad. I appreciate that the chicken was also in smaller, more manageable bite sized pieces. But I wished they had a better mix of greens instead of the cheap iceberg lettuce. I would have liked a spring mix with spinach, arugula, etc. ------------------------------- (Total= $50.34 after tax) Service was friendly. The employee who took our order asked if we wanted water while we waited. We declined. Wait time for our order was less than 20 minutes. I greatly appreciated that our order came with plastic utensils as we brought our order back to our hotel so we could eat with our little girl dog (please note that Lodi Beer Co does have outdoor seating but due to the rain, is currently closed). While we were waiting for our order, I did notice a lot of the artwork on the walls. All of the artwork here was hand painted buy local artists of Lodi. Also the building itself is beautiful. The tiles and molding really are something. The same can be said with the bathroom walls too. Overall, I think our meal was average. I think I would consider coming back to trying them again, especially if my family wanted to dine there (as I do have family living in Lodi). read more

We were disappointed with our service today. We only come here once a year to visit our grandparents grave and we always eat here as it was our grandparents favorite restaurant and today was disappointing. Our waitress took our order and then we never saw her again (Taylor), our food came and we needed some condiments and drinks refilled and she never came to check on us at all. We even flagged down the floor manager and asked for something and he never came back either, horrible service today. Eventually this random guy came up to us and we got our check and we left. The one positive thing is the food here is really good, we were just very disappointed in the service and we're debating if we'll come back again. read more
