I couldn't find a place that had an oil change appointment the week I needed the change. Went to Lodi Honda since they had an appointment the following day. A couple hours past while I was waiting for the oil change and a worker came up to me saying that my TPMS broke. I was confused and told him how was that possible? He mentioned that one of the mechanics broke it and they were willing to replace it but I would be charged. I went to another worker to mention to them about the incident and they said they wouldn't replace it for free since it was broken before I brought it to the dealership. As I initially thought that this was going to be a disaster Juan made the situation hassle free as he communicated as the tests were ran and explained each step that was going to be taken until he got a diagnosis. The issue ended up being a fuel injector that was replaced in a day and now our Honda is back to normal running smoothly. Costco Auto Buying Service refereed me to Lodi Honda to get information on buying a Honda Insight, and that someone from the dealership would contact me.. After waiting several days with no followup from the dealership, I finally called Lodi Honda and a salesperson said that they had no Insights available because of a "chip shortage". I followed up with the TrueCar car buying service who managed to find four Honda dealers within a 60 mile radius that did have Insights in stock despite the "chip shortage". I finally bought a 2021 model at Elk Grove Honda 25 miles away from my home, even though I live in Lodi less than 5 miles from Lodi Honda. read more

I have purchased several new cars in my life and this was by far the WORST experience I have ever had. Do not buy from Lodi Honda! I knew exactly which make and model I wanted, so I called Lodi Honda and we settled on a specific price. At Lodi Honda's request, I had my financing company overnight a check. When I arrived to take delivery on the car, Lodi Honda insisted I apply for Honda financing. I didn't want or need Honda financing so I told them no thank you. They told me Honda corporation mandates it and without it, they can't sell me a car! Total lie! I went to another Honda dealer and bought the same exact car (at a lower price) with no problem ...without applying for Honda financing. There is no Honda Corp policy about financing! In order to purchase the car from a different dealer, my financing company had to cancel the check and the loan. So I had to completely start over from scratch and apply for a new loan. LONG story, but worth the read for sure! About a month ago I got a flat tire and went to Costco to get it fixed (because that's where I bought my tires). The man who helped me at Costco asked why I hadn't been rotating my tires, I said that I always get them rotated at Honda with my oil changes. He then mentioned that my tires show evidence of NOT being rotated often, so much that I almost wasn't able to use my Costco warranty to repair the flat tire! He also said that his own daughter marked her tires before going to Honda to see if they got rotated...and they didn't! He recommended that next time I do the same thing. SO, today I had a service at Honda for tire rotation & transmission fluid. I used a metallic sharpie and marked each tire in small writing (R1, R2, L1, L2). They called me 2.5 hours later and said my car was done. I picked up my car, drove home, checked my tires, and they had NOT moved at all! I am in shock. I immediately came back and they gave me the run around saying it must have been a confusion with 2 cars in there (lies!). I explained that I marked all 4 tires very specifically and none of them were moved! He handed me a voucher for a free oil change next time, and they are now rotating my tires. I sent a long email to the service manager, and he just called me and fed me more lies, saying this was a big miscommunication on their end. Of course they're not going to tell the truth, that would be stupid of them. They tried to say that the technician didn't feel comfortable rotating my tires because one tire was new and has a different tread than my 3 other tires (which is true, hence the flat tire that began this whole story). So I said "oh! So you're saying my new tire has one tread number, and my other 3 tires have different ones because they're older?" He said "yes exactly" and I said "well that's ironic, because the paperwork right in front of me says that all 4 tires have the same tread, so it seems to me like my tires were never looked at to begin with" he said "that must just be a typo", I said "no...it's handwritten in black ink" and I heard a quick silence from him. He then said "I'm sure my technician did that by accident and I'm going to look further into this issue but I assure you that he looked at your tires". I proceed to say how I feel betrayed and lied to and I don't plan on coming back. He keeps apologizing and trying to say this will never happen again. He then tries to end the conversation by saying "I completely understand how you feel and I would like to apologize once again for everything. I do see the price you paid for your service and that Curtis offered you a free oil change on your next service but I understand if you don't wish to come back". I said "I am not trying to sound ungrateful but what is that even worth? Probably only $40 since my oil is NOT synthetic??" And he said "ya". I said "that's not enough in comparison to what I've been through today and I know I'm not the only person this has happened to". So he says "I would also like to offer you $100 off of your next service" and I said "of course, because that guarantees that I will come back, and you can't refund it to me instead right?" He said "unfortunately not. But I'm going to put it on your account and I will also put it in writing and mail it to you tomorrow". I said ok then we ended the conversation (at this point I'm so sick of it). I will use them one more time for my free services (and make them aware that their work will be checked) and then I will go elsewhere. read more

Horrible service and I will never be coming back. Came in for an oil change, got there at 2 left at 330. Before I left they told me I needed to replace my radiator because it was "leaking" but yet they told me there was no cracks found. I left and I immediately noticed my car was not the same. I took it to my dad and he checked everything and found that they left my radiator dry as hell. Usually you'd expect a gallon of water to come out of it but it was only the amount of 2 water bottles that came out. Not only did they dry it out but the smeared tons of grease on my front tire. They wrote my car isn't "safe to drive" on paper probably just to safe there asses later. Mind you I never had any leaks before coming and everything was fine. When my dad pulled out the radiator it didn't have any damages it was just dry as hell. What we think they did was dry it out so it's more likely to over heat and so I'm more likely to come back after it damn near explodes. The added grease was another reason to tell me that this is from the leak. They never told me about these extra things we found so it's pretty suspicious to me. DONT GET SCAMMED!! Came in for an automatic transmission service on a Saturday morning. I was in by 0800 and out by 0900. The technician that performed the work did a very clean job, and both service writers on duty were great to work with, one of whom was David Stockton. There was no hard sell for additional services, which is something that I really appreciate. With respect to cost, Lodi Honda was much cheaper than both EG Honda and Mel Rapton for the same exact service. After having TERRIBLE experiences with Stockton Honda we tried the next closest place. I'm glad we did! I've gone in for an oil change and the service was prompt, professional, and efficient. The price was the standard offered by most Honda dealers. Not stellar pricing... but for dealer service, it's not too crazy. We seem to have a crazy problem with the car that has been fixed like seven times. I know exactly what it is... Last time I took it here, the first time for this problem... I knew the part would not be in stock. I talked with the service advisor and let him know what the problem was and what the short history was. I asked him if he could look at it and have a tech take three seconds to look and it and diagnose it, to get the part ordered. I really did not want to sit around waiting for hours while they took less than a minute. Thankfully they did just that. I was in and out in about five or 10 minutes. Sometimes it's the small things that make a customer happy. Using logic they were able to save my time from being wasted. Many dealers would have just made me wait... but Lodi Honda seems to have some good ol fashioned customer service. They really do need a bigger property, though. They have to stack cars up at service and it's not always easy to maneuver around... but if that's the worst complaint I have, I'm still happy. Oh! I am the sole caregiver of my elderly mom, I just moved her to Lodi from Placeeville, it was necessary to find a new dealership and service department, it was time for an oil change and service. I knew her tires were in bad shape just didn't realize how bad they were, like most, I was skeptical due to past experiences at other dealerships however, I was fortunate to have Juan as my technician for many reasons and not just the servicing of my moms car. Unfortunately, in todays atmosphere many companies have either forgotten or never implemented the importance of customer service, Lodi Honda has not forgotten and in fact, went above and beyond what one expects from any dealership. Moms tires were indeed bad, not just bad but dangerously bad, Juan explained with unbelievable patience and detail how the legal wear is measured, I asked Juan to install all four tires. Now for the degree of patience and professionalism of Juan, I have an older brother that I have to answer to, who would have thought at 64 I would still be doing this, lol. He had many questions about the tires, while I admire his tenacity, I only wish he had asked them all at once! Needless to say, I had to call Juan on five separate occasions, with each call Juan continued to display patience and information, I was a bit embarrassed but Juan did everything to make me feel comfortable and in fact, welcomed the questions because customer satisfaction means a great deal to him! Juan took particular care In describing the new tires I was getting, the warranty, how they are rated and his personal experience in this particular product, way way above and beyond! Lodi Honda, you have one incredible employee in Juan! I live in a deluxe 55 and older community, I will joyfully pass out Juan's card with the knowledge that I am giving out excellent advise to use your dealership for all of those that live here! So then he says your total is 75 i got it down from 110 im like um i was told im only paying for parts since i have all the warrenties, he gets all frustraded throwing a fit stomping around after all said and done he dont even alnowledge me anymore just walked all mad to the cashout spot and said give them 2 signatures and then followed up with a scolding saying we dont do anything for free so dont come back in here thinking next time will be free, its ok because i wont be going back, i love their sales associates but their techs need a bit of help read more

We got threat for an Honda employee. We went to Lodi Honda dealer for the car recall and we decide to get information how to buy the car because the car is lease. After I talk for a minute with The sales Person named Jessy, he got upset and try to get into a physical fight with me. He told me he will chop my head off as well the other person who was with me.
