Loft 94 has some really solid food and a cool vibe. The bento box was great, and the short rib was delicious and really flavorful. I also tried the ramen, which was very good, and the Black Dragon roll was really tasty. The peach mint hookah was another highlight--smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely come back for the food and hookah. The only downside was that the gentleman handling the hookahs told us we had to return it exactly at 8:58 because they were closing, which felt a bit rushed and unprofessional and made the experience a little uncomfortable at the end. Aside from that moment, the food and flavors were great, and it's still a spot I'd return to.

This place is really beautiful, especially with all the Christmas lights, the Christmas tree and all the decor, it's giving a lowkey classy vibe. I did not try their food, as I was not hungry, but I did end up having a few beers, sake, and ordered hookah. I was pretty surprised that their hookah was only $20, it's cheaper compared to other hookah lounges so that was really nice. I just found my new spot. I will be coming here more often from now on, they also have a DJ and what's more fun was as soon as I sat on the machine, I immediately hit the big win so that paid for all my drinks and shisha. The cherry blossoms were so pretty and there was a lot of huge tv screens showing football games you can watch while enjoying your meal or smoking your hookah, hanging out! Cool place! No doubt this place is beautiful, the aesthetics are stunning and the vibe is cool as hell. They have a DJ, (not sure if it's only on weekends) a pool table, serve food, ginormous TV's to watch sports on, a full size bar and the coolest thing ever, they serve hookah! Seating on the inside and option balcony seating. Casino just right below the escalator's. I really wanted to give this restaurant a 10/10 but the food is where it fell short for me. I have had their sushi in the past, which was pretty good and I heard their ramen is good too. I came in at 10:30pm, tried to order Yakitori pork ribs (which was unavailable, they stop serving it after a certain time they said) Was recommended loft fries, so I ordered that, a red dragon roll and gyudon bowl. It took about a half hour for my food, I came up and to my surprise, they didn't have my sushi roll. Apparently they stop making sushi at a certain time too. Not going to lie, I was most excited about that. Took my food home and I was very disappointed. My fries were good but didn't have much on it. A few pieces of meat that braised the top and the rest was Literally a box of fries. For $20 I would have assumed it woulda been LOADED fries, with a decent amount of protein. My gyudon, def not gyudon. It was more of a Korean bbq flavor. Meat was dry and the quality was just not appetizing, portion was small too, it was more of a snack. That ran me about $13. I felt like I wasted money, huge heartbreak! Very underwhelmed over the food and the fact that they didn't have what I wanted available. They close at midnight, so you would assume they would have everything on their menu still being served. Overall, staff is really nice, the restaurant is gorgeous and looks like the perfect spot for date night or a night out with friends. I'll give it another try, and order something else. If all fails at least there's alcohol! Lol CHEERS!

Dropped by Jamul to stay at beautiful new hotel and roof top pool. Amazing views. Good food but slow service. All food good except ahi salad. Don't recommend. Other food great.

One of my favorite places to eat inside the jamul casino. Make sure you come the first two hours they open because there is a happy hour appetizers. A great place to watch the game or watch since you're up above the casino. They also have great views of the jamul Valley. I recommend: the sushi rolls, ouchi eggs, Tokyo sticky wings, and the build your own bowl.

This is a really cool Asian style fusion cuisine restaurant serving fresh sushi and birria ramen. They have amazing craft beers and yummy cocktails. The music was just right and the views are outstanding. Service was good too.

I come to Loft 94 at Jamul Casino every now and then for the Asian fusion vibe and sushi, and we headed there recently for a little date night with my husband. The atmosphere is always fun casino energy with DJs, cocktails, and that nice view overlooking the area. We started with the appetizer of ouchi eggs (those boiled ramen-style eggs, halved, breaded, and sauced). Honestly, it was such a unique flavor--really interesting and pretty tasteful. Not terrible at all; I think I'd order them again as a fun starter. For mains, I went with the yellowtail hand roll, but unfortunately, the first one had a very weird soapy taste--like the flavors just weren't there, almost a bit rancid. I had to send it back, and they were nice about remaking it. The second one was alright, a little better, but still something felt slightly off. It just wasn't hitting the spot for me this time, so definitely not my favorite. My husband got the poke bowl, and he really enjoyed it. The salmon tasted pretty decent, fresh enough, and he said it wasn't bad at all--solid choice if you're in the mood for that. For dessert, we shared taiyaki with vanilla ice cream. The vanilla ice cream was great, can't go wrong there, but the bread part wasn't satisfying enough. It felt like it should've had some filling inside the fish shape to make it more complete--kind of hollow and underwhelming. Overall, the food this visit wasn't all that great compared to previous times we've gone. Service was fine, and they handled the roll issue without drama, but the sushi disappointment brought it down. The ouchi eggs and poke were the highlights. Might give it another shot another time since we've had better experiences before, but this round was just okay. Good for a casual casino dinner if you're already there, but not blowing me away.

I came here with my family, and was meet with the most perfect service and food. The food was so good, and the portions were huge for just a good price! I highly recommend coming here. I am definitely coming back here again. One thing is that we were seated right by the DJ and i couldnt hear my family talk. It was extremely loud.

Conveniently located on top of Jamul casino Asian yakitori eatery and full service bar serving small plates and noodles menu and cocktails. Nicely decorated, roomy and clean tables inside looking down the action floor or outside open air gazing at the beautiful full moon over the Jamul valley. Thee are nice heaters outside to sit by. I stopped by for a drink while waiting for a friend. Staff is warm and relax. Life is short just take it easy. Huge screens for watching sports. No smoking smell is a huge plus.

It was our first time at the casino and came in with no expectations. Located upstairs from the main gaming floor, we heard music pumping and saw a sprinkling of people dining. When the hostess asked if we wanted inside or outside (remember it's our first time here so WHAT!!?! Outside patio is an option?????) As soon as she mentioned heaters I said yes! OUTSIDE IT IS!! The DJ was JAMMIN!!! We were seated along the railing. The heaters looked like giant table lamps! I also saw that they had hookah available too (but we didn't partake). Our server was really cool (wish I had caught his name) and made some fabulous recommendations for Ramen! I loved it all! The food was really good, the music was a WHOLE vibe and the crowd was pretty laid back. Lol I Yelped it while I was sitting there to see what it looked like during the day! OMG what a view!! We will DEFINITELY be back.

The food at Loft 94 is always fresh! The pickled cabbage is one of my favorites, the sushi is packed with flavor, and the fried prawns will leave you wanting more. The custom ramen bowl is unlike any other, with endless options to make it exactly how you like. On top of the great food, the people truly make the experience. Management staff Alan and bartenders Jessenia and Brandon go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. They work together like family, and it really shows.

WOW. They really put some thought and effort into the remodeling and revamping here. The food was DELICIOUS. Like nothing we ordered wasn't good. I was so impressed with the food the quality and freshness and taste and variety. Like I'm already coming back again this week. Our server Bradley was also so nice and was busting his as$ trying to make sure all his tables were good. Hope they are paying him well. Only suggestion would be different desserts. Loft 94 is a great place to grab a meal, drinks with friends and enjoy the view either outside with beautiful views of the valley or inside and it overlooks the casino. Service here is impeccable and the food is delicious. The price point for the food and drinks are very reasonable. This is definitely a hidden gem on the outskirts of San Diego. read more

I Love Loft 94! I love all the servers and bartenders but Shanon is the BEST! Shanon went above and beyond to make our night special! We have come back a few time since the last time I yelped and have always received the same wonderful and yummy service, but I had to say it again to all who are seeking a great view, good (little) bites to eat and delicious choice of beers. One of the things we noticed this time around was that they have pricing for different sizes of beer - 8,12,16 and 20oz, plus flights if you'd rather do that. I had the wine this time and enjoyed it just as much as every time I had the beers. Ismael and Angel remembered us and again took amazing care of us. Their service is top quality! Kendall was our server and they should keep her full time, she was a sweetheart and we enjoyed her taking care of us on my birthday. All in all - 5 star. Thanks again guys, you made my day great. We will be back! My husband and I have been here twice now and have had an over the top excellent experience. From our bartender Bobby with his funny stories, to Ishmael with his willingness to chat, to Dallas that was ready to help at any time, we got top notch service. Loft 94 is a great option for Asian food in Jamul! Plenty of parking in the garage, easy to find, and the food was super tasty. We got the surf and turf yakitori bento box which came with the yummiest ahi poke that I've had in a while, and I've had plenty of poke both in and outside of Hawaii. The gyoza was perfectly crispy and savory with a delicious dipping sauce. Our server Shannon was super sweet, attentive, and helpful for the entire meal! Really cool bar inside Hollywood casino, with 48 craft beers and full bar with your choice of whiskey, scotch, bourbon and cognac. The 2 young men at bar were very nice and helpful. 4 TV's to catch games. Cute decor, love the chandeliers here. Projector TV still not live, but will be in the near future. View from open terrace overlooks the interstate 94, very nice touch to this bar. Loved the tunes they were playing. My only gripe, they need more TV's. They have plenty of space to add a few more. read more

Hello my name is Sharon Jackson. I am a Onyx Player at Jamul. I wanted to take out the time to talk about 2 people at Loft 94. The 1st person is Joniesha. Joniesha is always very attentive, very professional and makes sure you have an amazing experiance at Loft 94. The food is excellent and my daughter and I now eat her 2-4 times a week. You have to try the sticky wings, the bento appetizer, also the jamul roll is to die for. Put simply loft 94 is one of the best places to eat. The service is excellent. The 2nd person I would like to compliment is Huy. Huy is always very professional and goes that extra mile as well to make sure have an amazing experiance at loft 94. I highly reccomend loft 94 to everyone. L9ft 94 is the best noodle house in San Diego. On a scale of 1-5. Loft 94 definently gets a 5 star rating from me. read more

We tried Loft 94 tonight and it was really good. Shanon our host recommended the tonkatsu ramen. We also tried the sushi crab rolls. Both were very well prepared and delicious. Shanon was an excellent host and we will be coming back for more great food! I will let our family and friends know about this place for sure. This was our first time visiting Jamul casino and opted to have dinner at Loft 94. The manager was extremely welcoming. Our server Janiesha was awesome! She was very attentive, fast and super sweet. The food was delicious, everything we ordered was perfect and came with very little wait time. We chose to dine outside and enjoy the beautiful view. Would definitely recommend. read more

5 stars specifically for the service we received from Jessica, who was so attentive and pleasant. I always bring my mom out to eat at casinos, it's our bonding time and a way to get her out of the house and have fun. With that said, I've been to probably all of the restaurants in every casino and occasionally you get that server who is just so personable and friendly, that even if the food isn't 5 star, you take time out of your day to write a review because of the service! That's me right now. Food was mediocre, place was cozy, but the service was outstanding. Thanks so much for being awesome, Jessica! I enjoyed my ronin soup at the loft of jamul casino! I am giving the ronin soup 5 stars and also 5 stars for service! Supervisor Hector always greets me by my first name and say 'Good bye' to me when I leave. He would ask, "How was your experience at the Loft today?" I was also impressed with waitress Taylor with her outstanding customer service. She made sure I had extra hot water for my mint tea when I was done with my meal. So I'd definitely recommend anyone to have a late lunch and/or dinner at the loft! read more

Based on our recent visit, I'm struggling to understand how this establishment has an overall score…read moreof 4 stars. We were not greeted by an employee at the hostess stand and finally sat ourselves. It took 15 minutes for a server to greet us and ask for our drink order. Once he arrived for our drink order we put in a small food order to test out the quality of proteins. It took 40 minutes to get two hand rolls and one albacore sashimi order. The order took so long to arrive that once it did, we quickly put in a specialty roll order before trying the hand rolls. The specialty roll came out in two minutes flat, I did see a roll sitting on the sushi bar before we ordered. I believe we got someone else's roll because I asked about the long wait times. After the roll was delivered a server came over to our booth specifically to make a snarky comment, he said "you're lucky this was fast, people wait 1 hour for this on Fridays." The restaurant was clean, had a neat wall painting and the parking was free, those are the only positive experiences from our visit. The sashimi was dry as if it had been sitting out not properly stored. Hand rolls were mostly rice, the only protein is what you can see in the pic - gone in one bite of a 4 bite roll. The specialty roll was average. This was a very unpleasant experience, we will not go back and will not recommend to friends/family/yelpers. It should also be noted that we went on a Sunday afternoon and there were 3 sushi chefs behind the counter, 3 servers on the floor and 1 host. Hard to understand why the wait times were excessive and service was poor. Our server did acknowledge that the service was slow, however, he did not offer any apology, he just shrugged it off.

Outstanding Service & Atmosphere at Loft 94! We had an incredible experience at Loft 94 inside Jamul Casino, and it was all thanks to the amazing team of Haylie, Kasey, Allan, and Collin. From the moment we arrived, Kasey greeted us with a warm smile and a welcoming laugh. She initially seated us at a table, but when we mentioned it was a bit too close to the noise, she gladly and graciously relocated us without hesitation. She made sure we had fresh menus and everything we needed, setting the tone for an enjoyable evening. Haylie was our server, and she absolutely shined. Her upbeat energy, constant attentiveness, and genuine smile made the entire experience feel personal. She was always on the move but never missed a beat when it came to checking in on us. Her service was top-notch and full of heart. When Haylie stepped away for a well-deserved break, Collin stepped in seamlessly to continue the same level of attentive care. He has a genuinely caring attitude and took the time to connect with us beyond just service -- asking thoughtful questions and ensuring we felt seen and appreciated. His smooth transition from Haylie's service made it feel as though nothing changed at all, and we were in excellent hands the entire time. And then there's Allan, the floor manager, who clearly leads by example. His presence was felt in the best way -- greeting guests as they walked in, checking on tables throughout the night, and creating a positive, high-energy environment for both the patrons and his team. This wasn't my first visit to loft 94...I visited a while ago (around October 2022) and had a horrible experience...my server took forever to great us. She was either grumpy or just hated her job because she barely checked on us and the food took forever! I was really never going to come back. BUT!! My friend invited me to jamul casino and a little slots sounded fun so off we went. While we were there my friend told me about her favorite place to eat and mentioned loft 94. I told her there's no way I'm eating there again. She assured me that it was great and maybe I had a one off experience last time so I begrudgingly agreed to go. From the moment we arrived at the top of the escalator until the moment we departed...everything was fabulous! Our server was Lele and she was so sweet! She checked on us multiple times and made sure everything was good. She is really a cream of the crop server! I will request her when i come back. The manager melli was walking around and checking on tables and when she checked in on our table I told her all about the past experience and also told her how great this experience was. It's like night and day. (a good manager makes all the difference- don't lose her, she's a gem and really seems like she cares about loft.) The food...chefs kiss! It was delicious. We shared the chicken caragee and I ordered some noodles-i cant remember what they were called but it was like ramen but no soup. Everything came out hot and delicious...i will admit that the food took a little longer than i would normally hope, but it was a busy Friday night, so it's also sort of expected Let me just say everything was amazing and i am so glad i agreed to come back. We had a little bit of a frustrating situation this evening. We came to take advantage of the midweek 50% off menu. There is a great selection of items and we started with sushi. I'm not a fan of spice so I asked Caylie if they could make the spicy tuna roll without the spice. I said I'd order something else if it couldn't be done. The whole time we were looking at the discounted menu. Our sushi order came and they were able to do the tuna roll without the spice. It was delicious. We then got our eamen and we loved it. Then the bill came and my "not spicy" tuna roll was $15.95 instead of the $5.95 price for the spicy tuna. What the heck? Caylie knew we were ordering off the discounted menu. Why didn't she come back to me and tell me they could do a non spicy version but it would be more expensive. I would never have paid $15.95. Not cool Caylie. I feel she was trying to increase the bill so she would get a bigger tip. What happened to good customer service? She didn't even apologize for her lack of communication. I was very frustrated. As a 5 year patron of the LOFT 94, yes my crew has been regular patrons since its inception, I can proudly commit to this review. The new management implemented prior to the new year has significantly improved the dynamics. All the staff members are fully supportive of all guest needs and will accommodate any requests within reason. I must give credit to the recent hire by Jamul Casino with the implementation of F&B Manager Mr. Vu who has brought nothing but positive energy and a professional touch that was genuinely needed. Mr. Vu's management provides a "Need not to worry" experience with any server because Shannon, Rachel, Angelina and others are always attentive. And lastly, I always to try to remember the chef's but it can be left unsaid because of the GREAT time you're having at the LOFT. I recently dined at Loft 94 in Jamul and had a delightful experience. The service and atmosphere were top-notch. We were seated outdoors, where we enjoyed a beautiful view, adding to the overall ambiance. We started with the seaweed salad and sweet chili edamame, both of which were fantastic. My cousin had some specific requests for her sushi, wanting it cucumber-wrapped with no rice, and the staff were able to accommodate her perfectly. I ordered two sushi rolls. While they were tasty, I felt the presentation could have been better, and the rolls could have used a bit more flavor or toppings to enhance them. Despite this, I am keen to return to try more of their menu offerings, especially the teppanyaki and ramen. Overall, Loft 94 is a great spot with excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. The Loft 94 at the Jamul Casino has a great atmosphere with great food (the ramen was delicious and so many choices), good prices and most importantly excellent service! Our waitress Shannon was so friendly and even went out of her way to make sure the kitchen could still serve me something even though it was right after the cut off time for food. She was so nice and made my night with getting me that amazing bowl of Ramen and Chicken Katsu I'm not one to leave reviews very often but Shannon's customer service was on point! I'll be back and bringing my friends. Be sure to check out this spot if you like casinos, it's the only indoor / outdoor dining loft space I've seen before at a casino - super cool. read more

The LOFT 94 just became the elite casual dining and lounge experience in East County. With views of the rolling hills, gas latern heaters, comfortable seating is just the basics. The greatness is in the new menu, staff members and sports bar experience. Take a look at the new menu and some of the offerings provided. You will be very impressed with exquisite taste and experience of some Japanese delicacies for a fraction of the cost of the downtown joints. read more

Shrimp was bouncy and fresh but not particularly seasoned. Overall, a good fried rice that makes me want to keep eating it. -Beef chow fun, my least favorite of the three but it's decent. Green pepper is not usually added in this dish and I think it made the dish less harmonious. Noodles were on the oily side and not so much of the flame/wok flavor that should be in this dish. Beef is tender and good though. Ambiance 5/5 -Nice, modern and Asian inspired decor. Comfortable seating and overall calm ambiance, good dining space.

You get about five lobster tail halves for around $40, which didn't feel like a good value. The surf and turf was also deep fried and then stir-fried in sweet heat sauce. The sauce was tasty, but the dish didn't feel very authentic. Service was okay. When I asked questions about some dishes, our server didn't seem very knowledgeable and kind of brushed off my questions, which made ordering harder. I might try other dishes next time since the menu is large, but this visit was just average for me, especially for the higher price point.

On this particular Saturday evening, we placed a takeout order at Ginger Noodle Bar at 7:50 PM. Our cashier, Cheryl, advised us that our order would be ready in approximately 15 minutes. Unfortunately, our food was not available until 8:35 PM--about 30 minutes beyond the promised pickup time. The experience became even more frustrating as we stood at the pickup counter waiting for our order, repeatedly asking whether the dishes coming out of the kitchen belonged to us. When our food finally arrived, it was placed in the designated pickup area without anyone notifying us, despite us and another couple standing there clearly waiting for delayed orders. This lack of communication added unnecessarily to the frustration, especially since we were missing the live band performance on the opposite side of the casino while waiting. To be fair, the food itself was exactly as expected. We ordered the Bo Luc Lac and Kung Pao Chicken, and both dishes were served hot, fresh, flavorful, and properly prepared. The order was complete with plenty of napkins, chopsticks, utensils, and fortune cookies. Unfortunately, good food alone could not make up for the excessive wait time and poor communication surrounding our pickup. We ordered takeout expecting to enjoy our meal while taking in the casino's entertainment, but instead spent nearly 45 minutes waiting for food that was promised in 15. Because of this experience, I find it difficult to give a stronger recommendation, and future guests ordering takeout should be prepared for the possibility that quoted pickup times may not accurately reflect actual wait times.
