Updating since we came back in a very pleasant October evening. First, it's a good idea to get a reservation. We had one, but witnessed people being turned away that tried to drop in. There is a nice bar on the upper level that a small group might be able to squeeze into, but... We had very good food and decent service on this visit. We started at the bar while waiting for a table, the bartender was helpful in our drink selections. This open air restaurant is a solid 4 stars with a great view of bustling Fish Creek while enjoying some delicious food. There's a ground level but choose the loft even if you have to wait. We had reservations at 12, it wasn't very crowded but got busier as we ate our meal. Service was great, friendly and attentive. A small menu though quite a variety of classic American fare and pub grub. A decent selection of craft brews, wine and spirits. We started off with calamari which was fried up just right and a charcuterie board. The cheese was okay but the cured meats were delicious, I asked if it was local but informed that they were imported. The burger was delicious, well seasoned and juicy, as were the baked white fish and the fish sandwiches. The star though was the chicken bread bowl ("chicken pot pie"). Location is really nice. The upstairs rooftop is cute, however they put their tables way too close to one another. My husband and I had to move our table back and forth just to push our chair out to get in and out to not hit the patrons behind us. Food is decent, however nothing to rave about. Both the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and the Nacho Burger had good taste but were soggy at the base. Portions of the outer part of the beef in the burger had too much char and tasted burnt.
