Its so going down!! (Lol's) Huge "Shout Out", to my sister in Christ for purchasing ribbon candy during Christmas. I have Never in my entire lifetime, (Mind you, I am going to be 64 years old tasted ribbon candy that was better than the old school ribbon candy our parents use to buy at the dollar tree or 99 cents store. Lots of Laughs! Un-----Til I tasted Logan's ribbon candy. It was Soooo delicious until it turned into a legal drug. Lol's I could not stop eating it. I thank God my sister is religious and forgiving because she was sharing and I was NOT caring and ate probably other people portion. Lol's I should have been arrested for eating all that ribbon candy. After I plea my case you'll find me innocent. Only guilty for not giving my sister some reimbursement for all the money she spent and big sister over here had a serious selfish moment. Smile Here's my case. On 12/22/22, Thursday, 3 day before Christmas my sister purchased Logan's ribbon candy for family and friends, (Well so she thought ~ Lol's). I didn't realize until Sis had each flavor wrapped in separate snack cellophane bags. Now, here's the good part!! The flavors were: Green Apple, Watermelon, Grape, Cotton Candy, Cherry, Peppermint, Lemon, Strawberry, etc.., ( The flavor's go on and pay attention each flavor tasted exactly what was shown on her pretty cellophane packages. Of course with me being a big girl I had to make sure I keep this figure and the flavors after you break a piece of the ribbon, pop that piece in your mouth. Oh my goodness!!! Stop the press. I put my hand up for folks to be quiet while I enjoyed it melting in my mouth like some See's chocolate candy. Anyone that has heard or ate See's candy know that's Sooooo delicious. See's candy definitely got competition with Logan's and they are at the finish line. (Smile) I had some lab work that needed to be done because you know when you start getting older blood work must be done to check for diabetes. I told them at the appointment don't call me I'll call you because I know my vitals are going to be off the chain from Logan's De-Li-Cious~Mouth Watering Candy. I feel like driving to Logan's this evening but they are close. Somebody needs to talk to somebody to have them stop the Banker Hours and Open a Drive-Thru on FOOT walk up!Lol's My sister don't know but I'm going to order her a few pieces from eating all the flavors, (Like the fruit loops) ~ Ha-Ha! Disappointed in the lack of COVID-19 precautions - no social distancing, no limits to number of customer (it was crowded!), inconsistent mask wearing, didn't see hand sanitizer or disinfecting between customers the 15 mins I was there. I pointed out to the cheerful employee helping me that one of the women handling the handmade candy behind the counter wasn't wearing a mask and her response was it was the owner. Not sure if that was to excuse her from not wearing a mask, but even owners contract and spread coronavirus. The employee went up to the owner and shared my concerns; owner made a snarky comment loud enough to be heard (did not appear to be discreet unlike the employee who was helping me). I was so tempted to walk out, but I completed my purchase and vowed not to return...primarily because of the no mask and the comment. Even if an owner is against wearing a mask, it's not about them...it's about following the county guidelines. Was also disappointed gloves weren't worn handling the handmade candy. Really wanted to support a small business, but wish the mindset and customer relations was more positive; little to no attempt to do their part coronavirus-wise. read more

An annual treat for my family & our homeschool co-op group. We've been attending the candy cane making demonstrations for many years, my youngest children can't ever remember not going there during the holidays. We never tire of Jerry's jokes or watching them make a slab of the mixture and tasting the warm canes. I highly recommend this experience to anyone in Southern California, it's worth the drive, or a visit for out of town guests. They're open year round and have canes for different occasions and custom make canes for personal events like weddings and showers as well. They also have yummy chocolate confections and ice cream and a gift shop of novelty items as well. To respond to the negative review about mask wearing from Germaine C, he is wrong, the team ARE wearing masks! They watched an older video from a previous year that was used as part of a promotion. Look, the atmosphere isn't the most trendy and could do with a little sprucing up, but if you're there for the house-made candies rather than pictures for Instagram, it's a gem! My wife and I picked up an assortment of chocolates and had to fight to not demolish the whole bag in one sitting. It's the kind of chocolate that demands your attention. It's not the kind that you scarf down while watching a movie as a background snack. This little gem of a candy store in Ontario is a treat for young and old alike, especially during the holidays. Logan's is known for their handmade candy canes and despite my initial skepticism, they are as delicious as the hype. For my first visit here my family and some friends met up on a chilly November night to watch the free candy-making demonstration (appointments are available throughout the year and there are scheduled demos every day during the holidays; check their website for times). The owner of the store makes the candy canes right on the spot and most people were outside watching through the window (you can also watch inside and there are closed-circuit monitors to view the action). It's about a 15-minute presentation with a few charming anecdotes and fun factoids. After we were given still-warm samples (amazing!), the kids were allowed to lineup and take their turn twisting their own candy canes, which they got to keep. My nieces made cool-looking heart-shaped candy canes and my nephew made a hilarious candy cane mustache. The store also has several types of flavored candy canes, chocolates, and other goodies, along with an attached store full of gifts and holiday knickknacks. Logan's has been around for nearly 80 years, so they're obviously doing something right. Highly recommended. read more

5 stars to Logan's Candy Shop and to a fun and informative candy cane demo, BUT BEWARE! Logans advises to arrive 15-20min prior to the demo time. We picked a demo time of 5:30pm on a Tuesday and arrived at 5pm (30min prior) to find a hoard of people who had been piling in a good hour before the start time. There is NO ORGANIZATION implemented for the hoards of people in the petite candy shop. The staff does not direct people to line formations or any sort of order which lead to a lot of "mindful" pushing, shoving and the possibility of children getting lost or trampled when it came time to exchange your ticket for a warm and freshly made candy cane. Tickets for a fresh made candy cane that you can form into a shape of your liking are $1.65 each. One ticket gets you one of their delicious peppermint candy canes. Certainly recommend buying a ticket before the demo starts or attempt to get through the crowd during the demo. Logan's also has chocolates and we were happy to find and purchase some delicious dark chocolate raspberry sticks. We were told they also have candy canes in different flavors such as cherry or around St. Patrick's Day, they make green apple flavored candy canes in the shape of a clover. In all, we were happy to experience the candy cane demo at least once, but will only return to Logan's during non-demo days in the future. read more

Went to Logan's on Saturday and the store was packed because they were having a candy cane demo- which I thought was neat. I drove from Redlands area to purchase homemade candy canes and there was none. I could not purchase Christmas ribbon candy either because it was so crowded in store you could not see anything that would interest you this time of year because it was behind the demo window. I don't understand a business that sells these items for Christmas to have none and why would you not have another space strictly for retail for individuals who want to purchase items. I was very disappointed and left empty handed after my 40 min drive. I've been looking for old fashioned style candy but could only find it online. Then someone in my neighborhood mentioned this place. I was in the area and decided why not? It was hidden away, exterior looked rundown and dark but I saw people walking around it so parked and went in. I was first hit by the delicious,sugary scent. It looked almost as rundown inside but there was a long line of people waiting to buy. Candies of every kind. Fudges, chocolates, candy canes, ribbon candy of many flavors in big jars , all handmade. We received some chocolate covered candy canes for Christmas from Logan's Candies. I'm not going to lie; I looked at them and said, "nope!" I couldn't imagine the two flavors combining well, and as a chocoholic, I was hoping for more chocolate. My son eventually found them and opened one up. He didn't care for them at all, but I was pleasantly surprised by the candy canes. I'm not a huge fan of the store bought variety, but these were delicious. These are the best candy canes!! They are really light and airy and have amazing flavor. I tried peppermint, cherry, and cinnamon. All delicious. I also got some ribbons in rootbeer and cinnamon, so good. They also have THE BEST fudge. I wanted to drive all the way back to get more (over an hour away from me). The gentleman behind the counter and the rest of his family were entertaining, funny, and had the big crowds drooling for Christmas candy canes. After going to the Lemon Festival with Princess, we stopped at Logan's to check things out. We were told about it from a lady at the bar earlier, when we tried lemon martinis. I remember having a booth set up right by there many years ago, when I used to be a vendor for fairs, farmer's markets, and craft shows. They have ice cream, old fashioned candies, and homemade candies too. The next room looks like it was another business where the wall was knocked down and expanded. It was very nostalgic and reminded me of a mid-Western gift shop. They had Christian based items and even Coca-Cola products for sale. I love it! Not sure how long they've been in business; I thought they told me 1953 but can't find confirmation on the website (which notes they've been making candy for 70+ years). The neighborhood has moved on; the store still stocks old-timey candies (Valomilks; French Chews; Chick O Stix; Cherry Mash; Cow Tales; etc.) and makes their own chocolates and ribbon candy. There are two rooms of candy, with the individually wrapped candies and bars in the smaller main room and then glass jars of bulk candies in the room next door. The chocolates are a bit sweet for my taste and feature some unnatural colors. The creams have a hint of marshmallow in the texture, which is interesting and not unpleasant. The caramels are fine; they carry dark toffee (they have dark and milk versions of most of the candy other than the truffles); and overall, if you're looking for a good American-style box of chocolates, they've got you covered. read more
