My family and I went to have a New Years lunch after church. I was craving a steak and figured we could watch the Cowboy game at the bar. We ordered the potato skins as an appetizer, they were okay...we ordered our meals. I ordered the Surf and Turf, 6 Oz sirloin, medium rare with a skewer of shrimp, steamed broccoli and a salad. My salad arrived, partially frozen. The cucumbers were barely thawed out and I bit into frozen lettuce after I tossed it around. When the waitress arrived with my food (red flag) she said "Be careful, it's hot". Well I grabbed the plate to assist her putting it down and the whole plate was cold. I must have received the toughest piece of sirloin ever because I couldn't even slice it without fighting with it to cut through. I ate the first piece and my steak was cold (which I already knew judging from a cold plate). I asked her to have them warm it up for me and my son saw her go and put it in the microwave for a few seconds and bring it back. My shrimp skewer tasted like leftovers from the day before. The only thing hot on my plate were the crab cakes. My kids did not enjoy their chicken tenders either. My daughter asked for waffle fries and received string fries. All in all, $140.00 later we all left unsatisfied with the taste and quality of food. Sorry Logan's, we gave you another chance and y'all failed. We will not be returning. read more

Our server, Jason, was great. He definitely helped make this a 3-star experience. The burger was okay. Wings and onion petals for an appetizer were okay. The wings weren't spicy, but they had a really unique crispy coating. The chili was okay and not spicy. Basically, it was all...well...okay. I probably should have ordered a steak instead of a burger. Maybe next time... I'd like to hang out at the bar during football games. And not just because I like hanging out at bars. Please please read and listen to other reviews, my wife and I decided to try Logan's as we have never been here but we will not be returning. My wife and I ordered drinks and appetizers which were not bad but nothing special. We also prefer two steaks a 9oz fillet and a 6oz sirloin. The sirloin didn't not appear bad but was under cooked to say the least. The fillet on the other had was a joke! I have never seen a fillet that looks as dried out and looked like it came off a mcrib as I have at this establishment, plus I paid $21 for this, I wouldn't even give this to my dog it was awful. read more

This has always been one of my wife's and I must go too places...but this time we noticed a huge difference. Its 0700 PM, restrooms were horribly dirty and smelly. Took forever to get a second drink...........................that's me waiiting.........................still waiting......yeah let me just suck whatever I can out of this glass....ok finally got another order in but not after my wife placed our empties on the bar.. ok...let see how the food is. We ordered a steak salad and wings. .. ooohhkay.. so the salad came out and it was good. The wings came out cold but it's ok they were good. Had to ask for more napkins cuz we were only given 2 after asking for napkins in the first place.. bottom line it was not the best visit we've had. Went during dinner rush time, so I automatically lowered my expectations. Even still I was more disappointed. The piña coladas are good, but when I ordered a second round they had run out of mix! Really surprised about this place after seeing the reviews. Went here last night and not only enjoyed the food but my waiter Brandon was one of the best I've ever had. I ordered a beer and the Original Roadhouse Burger, my mom and brother ordered Signature Long Island Ice Teas and the Spicy Brisket Burger. Our burgers were delicious, and the only reason I reviewed the place as a four is because I asked for my burger to be medium and it was brought out medium well. Other than that we had a great time, the waiter took care of all of our needs and was on point when we needed something. Didn't try dessert but we ate two baskets of bread before dinner, and I don't know how they do it but that was some freshly baked perfect bread rolls. read more

AJ, Jon and I ate here on Friday. The wait was not bad at all for a Friday night. I ordered a salad before my meal and the waiter seemed to have forgotten but made it up by not charging for it. I had a sirloin steak and veggie skewers. The steak was good but a bit on the dry side. I love when the juice pours out as I cut into my steak! This review is mostly about the bartender and the drinks served. We ordered two martinis. She tried to put olive juice in our martinis even though we had not asked for dirty martinis. We explained to her that usually a martini does not come with olive juice unless asked for (I.e. a dirty martini). She copped an attitude and said "Well that's not the way I was trained!". I tried to suggest that her trainer may have been incorrect and that she might want to look up the recipe for herself on the internet. Finally the martinis were served. They were the smallest martinis I had ever seen. She put the olive in a cup on the side with no toothpick to spear it with and dunk in the gin. I asked for a toothpick and she said they did not have any and went to the back to find one. She returned with a wooden toothpick in a cellophane wrapper. I would like to say that our food was very good. I had the pork chop and my fiance had the salmon. When the bill came, one martini was just shy of $9.00. I asked how much alcohol was in the martini (since they were so small). She said 1 oz. Then she said, "Oh!, I used the 1.75 jigger."I suggested once again that she look up the recipe. This is what Google says: Ingredients: 1/2 oz (1 part) Dry vermouth, 3 oz (6 parts) Gin. I would not have minded the small martinis if the price had been reasonable. I have had $9.00 martinis in an upscale steak house but never at a chain restaurant. Heck, I could have gone next door to Macaroni Grill and gotten their "Perfect Martini" with Tanqueray gin and blue cheese stuffed olives for a mere $5.00! We stopped here tonight for dinner. The restaurant was not very busy, however, we waited for a bit for our server to come and take our drink order. After that, she was on the ball about things. I guess the service was good... Now, on to the food. I ordered the chicken fingers with fries and broccoli. The "fingers" came out as a clump of fried chicken, it looked like it had been picked up as a handful from the flour and dumped in the fryer. It wasn't bad, but the presentation left a lot to be desired, plus it was kind of cold. My husband ordered the filet mignon, medium rare. Despite the plastic things they stuck in the meat to let the cook know the way it was supposed to be done, it was done rather...well. The rice had carrots in it. I had no idea that rice pilaf has rice in it. Both dishes were cold. The Ceasar salad was bland. Also, maybe the staff can somehow find a way to restrain their hair so it doesn't fly all over the food when they carry it out of the kitchen. We normally look forward to dining at Logan's and dream of their delicious bread. This visit was an exception. To start off, our waiter literally had to be flagged down because he wouldn't come to our table. We received our food in chunks - first two of us... ten minutes later, two more, etc. My husbands wings were refrigerator cold and didn't even come with a small cup of ranch. My sister-in-law could only eat potato soup due to getting her wisdom teeth pulled however her soup was sour!! My mother in law tasted the soup and agreed that either the soup had been sitting out too long or they used sour milk in it. We had needed refills for more than 20 minutes at this point. We finally had to ask another waiter to please find ours as told him about the problems. This other waiter was very nice and apologized. Finally they brought them replacements and I finally received my club sandwich, which was subpar. My fries were soggy and falling apart in the middle but the ends were chewy like when you reheat something that's supposed to be crispy. The rest of our visit entailed waiting very long for refills or any other needs we had. We literally had to get up and go to the front to ask for our check because we couldn't find our waiter and needed to leave. We received no compensation for the food errors. logans been a while since i've been here and i had forgotten why food is good service is awfull we were a group of 12 they forgot to serve 2 of our plates and they were the easy ones of all. the first one was a kids macaroni and cheese and fries plate and the other plate was a steak salad the waiter forgot to even brought the bread and forget about the refills. the place was not even packed what a dissapointment.had to get up and look for the manager and he correct the problem by bringing out those 2 missing plates and the bread and our first round of refills we are talking about 30 minutes into our meal we practically had already finished our meals personally left a bad taste in my mouth read more

I remember this place because there are peanut shells all over the floor. This last time there were no more peanuts, I guess I have to ask for them. The kitchen was extremely slow the night we were there. Two burgers and chicken fried steak...over 40 minutes from order to delivery? Our server was very nice but was obviously struggling with the kitchen. I think she wanted to hide as she was dealing with complaints from all over her section. The only reason for two stars and not one is that the kids liked their burgers. However, the CFS and side dishes were too cold to eat and not really sure what type of meat was used but trying to cut it with that big steak knife was almost impossible. I don't send things back...but I did this time. The server offered to box it up or get me something else but I passed. She did take it off the bill. I used to go to Logan's when I was stationed at Bragg, so I was happy to see something familiar when we moved here. Unfortunately it didn't last. The food was mediocre, even for chain food. My steak was cooked decently I guess, but the potato wasn't (how does a steakhouse even screw that up??). The worst part is that the silverware had old food on it. When we asked for different silverware, IT WAS DIRTY TOO. Like, not just a fingerprint here and there, this was old crusted-on food. Someone had to roll BOTH of these sets of silverware into napkins BY HAND, so how did they not notice that?? I guess they, like almost every other service employee I've run into here, just didn't give a s**t. It's not like they're going to get fired or docked pay because they give someone food poisoning, right? So who cares? The manager looked sheepish when we approached her but didn't offer anything other than "Oh, that's embarrassing." Actually it's more than embarrassing, it's costing you customers and giving you bad word of mouth that you could have avoided by even just the APPEARANCE of caring and/or offering something to the customer. It was for the 25 employees plus their guest so roughly 50 people. Our company would pay for all their food and drinks. We spoke with the GM and everything sounded good to go. We had ALL the paperwork to prove it and when we got there, people were in our room and we were told that the reservation was never confirmed?!?!? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, No remorse and, I must say, total embarrassment on our behalf for actually wanting to have it there! This is the second time I go to Logan's and I have always gotten very good service and food. This time was no exception. Staff is always friendly and welcoming and food is served shortly after ordering. I usually stick to ordering chicken based dishes but when I go with my mom or friends they always have a good opinion about their steaks and other beef dishes. Will never eat here again, service wasn't bad but the food was absolutely terrible, I ordered what they said was 16 oz prime rib which was small, fine, must be good right? Nope way over seasoned and chewy, literally couldn't eat it because how salty it was, also had broccoli that was very undercooked and still had crunch to it, best thing about the plate was the baked potato and honestly I only ate that because I was hungry. Logan's is a very casual steakhouse. The food and atmosphere are decent. What bothered me about this place was the service we received recently. I went there for early dinner with my parents. We were seated in a small booth quickly, but were left there for about 10 minutes without anyone taking our drink orders. When we finally noticed other people being helped who arrived after us, we had to flag down a waiter. The waiter then quickly took our drink and food order and told us he would find our waiter. When he returned with our drinks he told us he would be our waiter. Throughout our wait for the food, we had to continuously flag down people to ask for refills on our drinks and our bread basket (it was about 40 minutes for our food to get to the table). Each time we asked for something, we received unenthusiastic responses from the wait staff. I even caught one girl rolling her eyes. I was glad when the meal was over. Next time we want a good steak meal, we'll just go next door to the Outback steakhouse instead. For the same price, you'll get better food, service and atmosphere. read more

Took my family to Logans while visiting our son in El Paso. The service was awful,took an extended time to recieve our drink order/ It took over 30 minutes to recieve our food after we ordered. The server checked once on our drinks and food. We asked for hot sauce which never came, told the server it was my sons birthday but she appearently forgot and the check was incorrect when it was brought to the table. We just wanted to leave and get on with our evening, and will not return to Logans. The table near us also had a problem the steaks were not done correctly and the food was cold when it arrived. I really don't like this place. It's not the service or the restaurant itself but it's just plain. It doesn't really give you any excitement or a feeling of "I'm coming back to this place next week". I think the peanuts are a pretty cool concept and they do give the restaurant a different feel. I myself can't eat peanuts by themselves like that before a meal or even during a meal so I really don't contribute to the peanut mess. On the plus side they are at a great location and deserve you to try it out at least once, you might like it. read more
