So I've been holding off from trying this restaurant because of the reviews, but I felt like this was the weekend to be adventurous. I will say that the food service is prompt and they kept the cups refilled. Unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. As you can see from my picture, I asked for my steak to be medium rare and the steak I got was well done. Another member of my party had a steak that was supposed to be medium and hers was rare. The food is actually pretty decent. Prices are about average. However, I hope you're OK doing a lot of begging. Because you'll need to beg to get a refill on your drink. Also, we had sharp plastic shavings in our food. When he brought it to the waiters attention, they didn't seem to care. At $15-$25 a plate, it's pretty unforgivable. Smoky bones is just down the road, or outback steakhouse a couple miles down Jefferson. So many good options there's really no need to go here. read more

So I order out frequently. I'm a single person and I order Logan's at least once a month but I think tonight was the worst meal I've ever gotten from them. I ordered a steak sirloin and it was supposed to be well done but it was more like medium well but it just didn't taste right? No flavor just bland. Then I never got any rolls with my meal which is pretty typical. They always forget or they give you four or six rolls... I ordered iced tea sweetened. I got regular tea. My baked potato was old like I did sat all day long. The outside skin was burnt... I'm just very disappointed. I've always loved eating at Logan's food and I don't want a free meal. My husband's steak was supposed to be a medium rare, but it was tough and too chewy and his potato tasted like peanuts for some reason. Haven't been here in a few years. Wasn't real busy at around 4:30-5:00 pm. Seated at a booth. The waitress came pretty fast. She was very nice and friendly. Drinks were guick to arrive and she was right there making sure we had refills. Took an appetizer order and came back to get our dinner order. Drinks were refilled. She left and very soon our apps were done. Piping hot too I may add..As we were getting very low on apps our order came to the table and the place was filling up quick. Our main dinner course was piping hot too !! She (the waitress) was getting very busy quick, but still stopped at our table to check on us . Great Service!! Sorry can't remember her name. Had quite a few neat tattoos and nose piercing, neck tattoo and 2 colors of hair. She was just adorable and nice. Our food was pretty good. The salad was just a standard dinner salad. The ribs very tender and fall off the bone. The Chicken tenders were crunchy but juicy inside. MOT dried out. The corn was tasty too. Husband loved his steak mashed potatoes n corn too. The onion rings were very good as was the pickle chips. Nothing super delicious BUT everything was hot n tasty. A far cry from when we stopped coming here. We will return. Had lunch in the bar yesterday. Service was good, but the woman who served us could use some help. She's taking care of the whole bar area, drinks too by herself. She did great, but I'd need a vacation if I did that day in and day out. We had a couple burgers yesterday and have to say they were TASTY. Best seasoned burger we have had in a long time. We got a side of bbq sauce and that with the seasoning was terrific. The fries came out nice and hot and properly salted too. The buns were perfect too. They were soft AND didn't get soggy from the patty. We will certainly be back more often. Keep up the great work. read more

Had a nice supper there and was taken care of by Jacque.. Food was hot and the shrimp was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant at Jefferson Pointe in Fort Wayne. Appeared clean. One thing I did notice because I have worked in food service myself is, the drink pitchers are sitting out uncovered. Service was fine I guess, but the waitress didn't bring the bread out until after we got our appetizer. She was more focused on her larger table- which is completely understandable. We also complained about our food and she said she would get a manager for us- she never did. We explained our dissatisfaction with the food, and she apologized, and said she's get her manager. We watched as she then proceed to take our plates, walk over to the computer, prepare our bill and bring it back to our table without ever getting or talking to a manager. She just seemed a little apathetic to be honest. We ordered a ribeye and a salmon- the ribeye was very uneventful and overall wasn't that good. Honestly, it was the worse I've had in a while. The salmon was wayyyy overcooked. It was gross. I had gotten broccoli as a side, and specifically asked for it well done- to the point that it was mushy. The broccoli came out cold, and rock hard. The restaurant itself is also a sensory nightmare for neurodivergent people. We walked in and were seated under a spotlight, and we asked to be moved and were told no (though there was an open booth next to us in the same section). It was also freezing! took almost 45 minutes to get our steaks and when they came out they were not cooked right. Our steaks were supposed to be medium rare but my husbands was rare and mine was almost well done. It was not super busy so I don't know why it took so long. The couple next to us arrived before us and received their food about 5 minutes before us but their food was completely cold. The server was great! But even she commented how it took to get our food ("and about 2 years later... here is your dinner"). Even though I told her my steak was not done medium rare, I opted not to order a different one with how long it took. The food was mediocre at best and super slow service. We walked in to a full host station, many employees huddled around it but no one acknowledged us for a good, solid minute-even with the manager right there watching. We were eventually seated & then waited 15 minutes before deciding to leave-not a single person ever came to our table. This was the second time we visited Logans THIS MONTH and each time it was royalty! we set at the bar as a couple, its a beautiful stone handmade bar, the chairs are really comfortable , the bar tender a wonderful young man his name Damian, was up front and there taking care of us, ask us what we would like and then he made the best Bahama momma i ever had there, ,his service was Makul ant, ,ask for him when you go in and you will see that wonderful sparkle in his eye and let me tell you girls he is way better looking than Denzel Washington! , ,we ordered steak when we are there and you can't beat their New York, if you're going for steak, spend the extra, oh my gosh !I believe since covid is over the restaurants are getting better with treating people , Logan has it ,i wish we weren't so far away , WE eat out all over ,you can't beat Logans at Lowes shopping mall off of ILL. , and their rolls for a 1.00 more take some home, wow and Make sure you tell Damian how great he is, Hés going places and is taking God with him, and tell him to call his mom , she loves it ! read more

We visited Logans for a late lunch and we're very happy we did. Our server Ronald S was excellent. He recommend dishes and combos that were very good and we were pleased with the food we ordered. The overall rating here astounded me when I checked in on Yelp. The harsh reviews seem way off base considering the experience we've had in the past and again this visit. We've been coming to Logan's for years. We don't get back as often, since we now live in Florida but a trip to Indiana often has us stopping by for a meal with family and friends. That was the case during our most recent visit. We were a party of seven with a variety of tastes and expectations. Our server had a big personality and made the entire party smile, even those who seldom crack one. He also kept up with our requests and drink refills, not to mention the speed with which we emptied the roll baskets. Soft and buttery rolls that are fresh out of the oven are one of the hallmarks of Logan's. Everyone enjoyed their meal with no complaints and much approval. A wide variety of food was ordered but special standouts go to the salmon (best in the area) and the frozen Tito's Lemonades (great refreshing flavor and nicely blended). The only downside was the quality of cucumbers and tomatoes on the salads. The cucumbers in particular weren't appetizing. I hate to give anyone a one star rating right now with the world the way it is with staffing shortages. But honestly the one star was earned. The service was was hardly service, between only seeing our server one time the entire meal. The one thing that got me was the quality of food. Our appetizer was pitifully cold, not to mention we were sucking on ice cubes by this time to quench our thirst. Glad we didn't order anything spicy that would of been miserable. Plates were piling up for our party of 6 and couldn't sit comfortably already at the small sized table we were at. No one bothered to clear the table even though our waitress continued to walk past and look at them. Hell we were right in front of the waitress service station and no one bothered. So I decided to just take them all and pile them in front of me thinking surely they will have to take them in order to put my food down when it came. the server was nice and did her job, however when you purchase a $24 12 oz steak, you should expect it to be of fair quality, after all it's a "steak house " I have tried ribeye steaks from the dollar store that didn't have as much gristle. although it was cooked to my liking, it was quite embarrassing to have to keep pulling gristle out of my mouth because I couldn't chew it up enough to swallow it. Now they're basic baked beans, like you can get at any grocery store for a fraction of the price. Yes, canned beans. They claimed they made them "in house," which is a crock. I thought I'd switch up my Sunday routine, I treated myself to an early Sunday lunch. I choose Logan's due to the proximity of my shopping area. I hadn't been there in quite some time. The more things change, the more some things stay the same, such is the case for their rolls. They are still the same deliciousness that I remember. They are slightly brown crisp on the outside and moist tenderness on the inside. Full of butter and a slightly sweet flavor. I had the app trio of wings, loaded skins, and mozzarella sticks. It was great, with the exception of the mozzarella sticks, they were ok, I wouldn't get them again. The chicken was hot and crisp with a hot buttery sauce, the sauce definitely made the wings. The skins were skimpy but goodt- yes goodt, they moved past good so we have to add the T. The food was worth my Sunday switch up. Service was quick and efficient. The hostesses and server were kind, in a reserved way. Atmosphere: kinds of noisy, but not overwhelming. It's what you've come to expect, lately. I was able to pick out my own ribeye steak that I wanted to eat, they cooked it to perfection, the steamed broccoli was perfectly cooked, the sweet potato was so big that was stuffed with everything I wanted on it, with my salad and the rolls with the cinnamon sugar butter that I had ordered for my dinner ended up being two dinners for the price of one for me that night and it all was so very good for the next day's dinner too! They have an excellent staff that works there and the best part of that night was the price for my dinner and a pop to drink! I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner! read more

I've never been very impressed with this Logan's, but my in-laws still enjoy a visit when we make it up to Fort Wayne. The tables are sticky, the service is slow, and the food just doesn't taste good. I ordered a "medium" cooked filet and it came out black and hard without any pink center. Some chain restaurants can hide that their food is full of sodium and trans fats, but I can really taste it here. Also, why does "steamed broccoli" have 250 calories in it?? Not a fan. read more

The experience was not good at all! We did not receive appetizers until after our meal came out! The bread did not come out until the food came. I ordered the ribs and they were BURNT to a crisp! When they brought out "new" ones they were the same just covered in BBQ sauce! When I then told the manager he said, "well you said they were better" I said yes that's what I thought until trying to eat them you just covered them with sauce! One of our appetizers NEVER even came to the table and the manger said he knew nothing about it! I'm very upset the manger had an attitude about food that he gave me that was burnt! Training the cooks would go a long way. 4 times and my steak isn't medium ANY OF THE TIMES. 4 times over 3 months time period. This is BOTH LOCATIONS. Worst was the last time when my medium steak was pooling blood on my plate. This time was at Illinois location. This one was better so after my 3 bad experiences on Lima, we had some hope but I was WRONG. I asked for a manager who acted like it was normal to bring out my meal not the way I ordered it. I let him take it back to make it a little less bloody... He comes back out with my steak SO OVERCOOKED. Cooked well done, no pink and tough. I am pretty sure it was out of spite that I complained. Why would you do that? Especially as a manager? I was flabbergasted. He then said all I did was put it on the grill and press it down for a few seconds.... The mashed potatoes were clearly boxed instant potatoes but the waitress insisted they were authentic. Then the manager also refused to admit the obvious. When I gave her the out that possibly they were usually homemade but perhaps they were out so the cook whipped up a batch of instant while they were making more, she continued to deny ever using instant. Everyone at the table tried a bite and it was so clear these were boxed. Lying about what you are serving your customers is not acceptable. I used to like Logan's. But the last 2 times I ordered food from this place, it has been a negative experience. They messed up on a DoorDash order and offered me a free meal to compensate. When I finally take them up on the free meal, 1. They charge me for it, 2. The filet mignon was hard, chewy, squashed and tasted like it was kinda old. I have never had a filet that bad in my life. 3. When I called the restaurant to tell them that they charged me for the meal, the lady asked me if I wanted to speak to a manager. This was our first time at Logan's. My husband's steak, the baked sweet potatoes, Caesar salad and coleslaw were great. We can't say enough about the dinner rolls; we didn't hesitate when the waitress offered more. Speaking of our server (She didn't tell us her name.) she was very accommodating and attentive. Overall it was a pleasant experience. But a word of caution: do NOT order the steak tips. They were grisly. I couldn't chew them enough to feel comfortable trying to swallow them.
