Fried pickles and onion rings they are HUGE !!

Haven't been here in a few years. Wasn't real busy at around 4:30-5:00 pm. Seated at a booth. The waitress came pretty fast. She was very nice and friendly. Drinks were guick to arrive and she was right there making sure we had refills. Took an appetizer order and came back to get our dinner order. Drinks were refilled. She left and very soon our apps were done. Piping hot too I may add..As we were getting very low on apps our order came to the table and the place was filling up quick. Our main dinner course was piping hot too !! She (the waitress) was getting very busy quick, but still stopped at our table to check on us . Great Service!! Sorry can't remember her name. Had quite a few neat tattoos and nose piercing, neck tattoo and 2 colors of hair. She was just adorable and nice. Our food was pretty good. The salad was just a standard dinner salad. The ribs very tender and fall off the bone. The Chicken tenders were crunchy but juicy inside. MOT dried out. The corn was tasty too. Husband loved his steak mashed potatoes n corn too. The onion rings were very good as was the pickle chips. Nothing super delicious BUT everything was hot n tasty. A far cry from when we stopped coming here. We will return. Hope we can find the same waitress. We gave them another chance, maybe you guys should too.

This was the second time we visited Logans THIS MONTH and each time it was royalty! we set at the bar as a couple, its a beautiful stone handmade bar, the chairs are really comfortable , the bar tender a wonderful young man his name Damian, was up front and there taking care of us, ask us what we would like and then he made the best Bahama momma i ever had there, ,his service was Makul ant, ,ask for him when you go in and you will see that wonderful sparkle in his eye and let me tell you girls he is way better looking than Denzel Washington! , ,we ordered steak when we are there and you can't beat their New York, if you're going for steak, spend the extra, oh my gosh !I believe since covid is over the restaurants are getting better with treating people , Logan has it ,i wish we weren't so far away , WE eat out all over ,you can't beat Logans at Lowes shopping mall off of ILL. , and their rolls for a 1.00 more take some home, wow and Make sure you tell Damian how great he is, Hés going places and is taking God with him, and tell him to call his mom , she loves it !

White linen table cloths flank both booth tables and freestanding tables. The chairs are comfortable leather ones that slide in and out easily. It's beautiful inside! This. Soup. Will. Slap. Your. Tastebuds. I wanted to go back into the kitchen and crawl into the soup pot and swim around. It is soo tasty!! The flavor is bold and the cheese is thick and what a cheese pull! My mouth just watered at this! We also had a pretzel bread. It came with delicious, sweet cinnamon butter. We loved it! For our main, we ordered the steak medallions and mushroom risotto. People...... The steak was cooked PERFECTLY! It was so easy to cut, and it melted on your mouth. The seasoning was delicious! The mushroom risotto was the perfect consistency--creamy and scrumptious goodness. This dish is PHENOMENAL!!! To finish, we had a warm, moist, and delicious carrot cake with cream cheese icing, caramel drizzle, and topped with walnuts. There is cinnamon ice cream on the side. We were so happy because most times, carrot cake we order out is dry--but THIS cake was TOP NOTCH! Megan, our server, was kind and prompt. She kept our drinks filled, and she did an excellent job at timing things to come out to us. Baker Street Steakhouse is a MUST-have restaurant in Fort Wayne. You won't be sorry for going.

We were seated immediately. Nice corner booth. It was nearly empty so we had a very quiet, romantic atmosphere for his Birthday Meal. Our server, Megan, was very friendly and on top of things. We ordered crab cakes for an app as well as a cup of French onion soup each. We could make a meal on that alone. The crab cakes were fantastic and the French onion soup was to die for. INCREDIBLE! The pretzel bread with cinnamon butter is very tasty. The butter is so soft and filled with cinnamon. We then ordered the filet medallions with wild mushroom risotto. We love our steaks medium rare. These were cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth goodness! The seasoning was amazing! Very delicious. The only issue was the one long strand of hair on the edge of my plate. I spoke to the server about it to make sure better care is taken in food prep in the kitchen. She said she'd talk to the manager. Husband received a free birthday dessert. He chose the warm carrot cake drizzled with caramel and walnuts with cinnamon ice cream. It was moist and so delicious. The birthday candle was a nice added bonus. Will definitely be back!

The lunch bento box is straight up hits: a California roll, shrimp tempura, vegetable tempura, rice and your choice of teriyaki'd protein (chicken, salmon, beef, shrimp or basa, a type of catfish). I chose salmon, which was cooked perfectly. The salmon was placed on top of the rice, so the rice kind of soaked up the teriyaki sauce and made it nice and delicious. My bento lunch came with a cup of miso soup, and it was so nourishing and briny, like only miso soup can be. So yeah. I didn't taste any of the sushi here at Umi, unless you count a California roll, which I don't. But they have lots of different types of rolls, nigiri and hand rolls. Umi also has a large menu of sake. So large, that I thought I would be remiss to not get sake to go with my lunch. The menu made me do it! So I got the chiku bai Nigori sake, and it was so smooth. Sake is served in a small pitcher with a small ceramic cup. I wasn't sure if the sake pitcher was supposed to be shared, but there was only one cup, and there was only one me, so I went for it. A sake buzz during lunch ... how extravagant. I visited for a late lunch, around 1:30 p.m., and I was the only person in the whole place. I got the full attention of the very nice server, who had 20 pens in her apron ("For when it gets busy and it's only me," she said, because I asked her why she has 20 pens in her apron.) The restaurant is tastefully decorated on the inside.

I was told they have 1 team that all works Wed-Sun (closed Mon and Tues). The bartender was really nice and honest about advice on the menu. I had questions about the sashimi salad and appreciated his opinion on it. When I asked how the crab rangoons were, I could tell he genuinely thought they were a good item to order - and they did not disappoint! The picture only shows 4 rangoons because I already ate 3, so the fact it comes with 7 is a great deal. I also ordered the chirashi since I love sashimi, and I was told I was given a few extra pieces. 2 salmon, 2 tuna, 3 yellowtail, 2 scallop, 2 unagi, 2 octopus (or squid?), 2 imitation crab, some salmon roe, and 2 lobster tail chunks; seasoned sushi rice on the bottom. This was a very filling meal. It's a dimly lit restaurant with a calm ambiance. I saved this place to come back to when I'm in the area again for work.

Most people will find RC as outrageously expensive and maybe frivolous. I write this review NOT trying to convince you that dinning at RC is worth the money. But more over to affirm that they meet (and maybe exceed) the expectations that they desire to achieve. With that...here is my lengthy review. Ruth's Chris can be found downtown Fort Wayne on Wayne street. You might find a steer parking spot. There is a parking garage conveniently next to RC. RC doesn't validate parking. I would encourage you to make a reservation in advance on the Open Table app. Make your experience special by planning in advance. Our reservation gave RC a heads up that we were celebrating an anniversary. The restaurant is very elegant and well decorated. There is a very inviting bar as you enter the restaurant with nice street views. They have some simple outside seating that frankly doesn't look appealing. The interiors are very plush, welcoming and comfortable. The white linens, glassware and tableware set the mood perfectly. Our table was specially decorated with rose petals to celebrate our special anniversary night out. Overall, this intentionally designed and executed environment that made us feel special - as you would expect. The whole team here is all about making you feel special. The host team was very friendly. From the moment they meet us...they knew it was our anniversary and wished us well. In fact...every person that we came in contact with knew it was our anniversary and congratulated us. Our waitress was charming, professional and made us feel at home. She knew her menus well. She had fantastic recommendations. She even helped us enroll into the "club" to get a free appetizer. During the evening the beverage manager and dining room manager stopped by to check on us. The gentleman that boxed up our leftovers was very kind and polite. The service was outstanding and made us feel extraordinarily special - as you would expect. The whole dining experience was predicable amazing. The drinks and food were over the top delicious - as expected. All components of the meal were nicely paced to allow us to relax and enjoy this special evening. Here is a review of the items we ordered: -Cocktail drinks: very fresh and tasty. Always deigned to be attractive and enjoyed. RC has their drink menu on a tablet so you can see an appealing picture and the ingredient list. -Shrimp Cocktail: four very large shrimp, fresh tasting and nicely chilled. The cocktail sauce mimicked the famous St. Elmo's brand taste with a bold horseradish taste. Excellent! -Crab stuffed mushrooms: crab flavors stepped out though they weren't bold. The filling was very soft without many predominant flavors. The mushrooms were cooked to a firm consistency and a delicious mushroom taste. -Table bread: very soft and fresh, nice sour dough taste. Butter was creamy and worked perfectly with the bread. -Fire roasted corn: this corn dish has corn pieces cooked with red & green peppers. You could pick up hints of the Smokey accents amongst the appealing seasonings. The dish tended to be more soupy than I would have expected. This is a lighter side dish with a very nice flavor. -Sweet potato casserole: this maybe the best dish on the menu. The sweet potatoes didn't have much of a very vegetable taste. The dish was very sweet and covered in very small pecan pieces and brown sugar. It really tasted more like a pecan pie than a sweet potato casserole. The waitress said that she has "regulars" order this side with a scoop of ice cream as a dessert. Amazing dish! -Fillet mignon: excellent meat taste. Perfectly season and cooked to my wife's medium rare choice. -NY strip steak: same as above! The steak had small amounts of marbling to add flavor. The bourbon redux was a chef creation that added moisture while drawing out the meat flavors further. The thin onion straws added a bit more flavor and texture. Outstanding steak! Thank you for allowing me to share our special evening with you. My goal was to help you know how Ruth's Chris executes. I believe that they exceeded all of my and my wife's expectations (as detailed above). I have to believe that the team at Ruth's Chris would say that they achieved their goals as well.

A generous portion with a lot of visible crab. Asparagus and the lobster Mac & cheese were the side dishes. I heard it a side salad with salmon and it came out to me pretty quickly. The flavor was delicious, the salmon, well cooked, and the apple vinaigrette dressing on the salad was delightful. The biggest challenge, was a table with a few children sitting at it. This is no fault of the restaurant, and really, not even the result of my four-star rating. This is merely a statement: if your children are misbehaving and screaming and banging things on the table while other people are trying to eat their dinner, then perhaps the best option is to remove the children from the restaurant. It's always surprising to me when parents are selfish and subject everyone else in the vicinity around them to the poor behavior of their children. As a parent myself, I would never do that to other people. When you go out to a nice restaurant, you want to relax and enjoy the time not listen to tantrums from a three year old. Even the bartender in the servers were frustrated with this table. Some people even walked out after sitting down when they realize that unbelievable noise is coming from one table. Everything seemed to be a chore and she just did not put forth any effort to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. She may have been having a bad day or maybe the service industry isn't for her. The manager seems to also be part of the issue. She never asked how things were. She did a passing by and stated "enjoy those salads and cactus blossom." May seem silly to some, but great service can make a meal incredible. Poor service can take an otherwise incredible meal and make it not enjoyable. Here's hoping next time will be better.
