First time visitor with my family of 7. We parked at the wrong door (to go door), but were impressed as we were greeted by a manager who was walking out of that door. We were immediately greeted and seated. The initial table was not large enough but they were hospitable enough to move us to a more comfortable table. The waiter was a bit awkward, but nice. The manager (Paul) walked around and greeted us once again. I appreciate that they use real glasses. The yeast rolls and butter are outstanding! We all tried something different, but it was all good! We were in a bit of a rush after a long day so we didn't stick around for dessert. Our tab came to $182 after tax and tip for the 7 of us. We would certainly return! read more

I stopped by for an early dinner today and was extremely disappointed by the quality and temperature of our steaks. We both ordered a Logan steak one cooked Medium Rare and the other medium. The first steaks were received were cooked at different temperatures throughout the steaks. Our server kindly offered to get them recooked. The manager I think named David brought out our new steaks ask us to cut into the confirm temperature in which we did. This time the steaks were overcooked and when showed him said with a straight face he state that our medium rare steak was cooked correctly and we could get it cooked longer if we wanted. You can't cook a medium rare steak longer. We both just decided to keep the steaks since they don't seem to know the proper temperature for a medium rare and medium steak. Needless to say we won't be back. What a joke! read more

Kitchen service was awful! Waitress was ok, but nothing to write home about. First, my husband ordered the Logan. His steak came out perfect. His sweet potato was burnt. He sent it back to get another one. It was also burnt. He also ordered fries, extra crispy. They came out barely cooked. Sent them back. Second batch came out much better. Now for mine....my birthday meal. Tea was served with very little ice. My T-bone was ordered medium. Beautiful cut, but came out well done. Sent it back. Second one, same thing. Third time it was cooked right, but not a good cut. Didn't have any meat on the filet side. Made it much smaller than the others. My fried apples were cold, like right out of the refrigerator cold but the plate was warm so I asked my waitress about it and yes, fried apples come out of the refrigerator and are heated in the microwave. Also, the potatoes are baked in the morning and kept warm all day long. So that's why husband got two burnt sweet potatoes and I got one burnt potato. Lastly, I tried to use a coupon for a free dessert (birthday, remember), only to find out this location doesn't accept them because they are a franchise and not part of corporate. At this point, my husband and I requested a manager. She did not seem surprised at all about our experience. She was full of excuses. There were two large parties in the restaurant, but the rest was not even half full. Supposedly, these two parties created a back up in the kitchen. That was supposed to explain all of the over and under cooked food. So she comped my meal and took off my husband's potato from the bill. I told her we were not looking for free food, we just wanted to make aware of the problems we experience during the 2 1/2 hours that we were there. I left without even eating my steak. I took it in my potato home to eat in peace. Needless to say, we will not be back for quite some time if ever. TLDR: Flavorful steaks cooked to order. Reasonable prices and large portions. Easy online ordering and curbside pick-up, just make sure you use the correct website. We continue to regularly order from here. We struggled finding the correct online menu at first, but a friendly employee helped me figure out the issue. The issue is the corporate website versus the Carolina website. What you want is the logansinthecarolinas website, not the logansroadhouse one listed as the website on Google and Apple Maps (see pictures for more details). Now that we know which website to use, ordering has been a breeze. It is quick and easy to place an order online and pick up curbside. Our orders have been accurate and ready on time. The portions are large and prices reasonable. The steaks are cooked to order and marked appropriately. Our favorites include the sirloin, bacon cheese fries, steak salad, baked potatoes, and yeast rolls! Overall, we plan to continue dining here and recommend it to others. read more

Logan's has a large parking lot surrounding the business. There is also a separate entrance for pickup orders. Inside there is a large bar and several tables. We came during lunch & were seated right away. Our server was friendly & came right over to take our drink orders. She later brought over complimentary warm rolls and butter. The rolls were soft and tasted good. I ended up ordering a ribeye steak which came with two sides or one side and a salad. I got the house salad & a baked potato. Everything tasted good. The portion sizes were great for the amount of food that we were given. I had food leftover after I ate my lunch. I would definitely return. read more

My salad large salad was served FULL of bacon bits when I requested NO meat. No offer was made to adjust the bill and the server, Melissa, though pleasant, seemed to not be interested in the fact that I didn't eat the salad. I haven't been to a Logan's Roadhouse in a long time, but I went to a church mass in Garner on a recent Saturday night, and my wife wanted to try something new. We gave our waitress our phone number and she said it would be about a 20 minute wait for the two of us. Before we sat down on the benches to wait, they shouted our name and we were quickly seated. I ordered a "Prickly Pear" specialty drink from the bar and my wife stuck with water. When the drinks arrived, we went right to ordering entrees. I got a 6oz filet with grilled shrimp, "brewsky" onions and sautéed mushrooms. My wife got the 9oz. Filet with steamed broccoli. The steaks were cooked exactly as we ordered (medium and medium-rare). The flavor was smoky and the meat tender and juicy. The shrimp were the same! The mushrooms and onions were as expected as well. Couldn't ask for anything more! I cannot definitely see us returning! I don't normally leave reviews like this but oh man was our service awful. We actually really like Logan's and we will be back as long as we don't have the same server. Last Friday we went for my daughter's first birthday dinner, I was excited to get a "yeehaw" for her. She wouldn't know what was going on but it was for our memory of her first birthday. I also understand with it being a Friday night it was really busy. We sat, we got drinks. I had to ask for another drink because one was wrong but it was water so we weren't bothered by it, just gave it to the kids. Our server looked like he was really busy but I think he was just all over the place. I noticed he only had about 6 tables, as a server myself - I understand getting swamped. But, we waited. When he finally came back we put in our appetizer & food order all at once, we weren't sure how long it would take him to come back. We got our food and he came to check on us once. We didn't even have a chance to ask about the birthday as he was nowhere to be found. Kids started getting fussy so my husband packed the kids up and took them to the car. I stayed behind to wait to pay. I asked for a box, paid & left. Like I said, I am a server at a different restaurant so understand what comes with the job. Another reason I will not mention his name as sometimes people get fired for bad reviews. But this service was just not good at all. Overall, worst service I've had here in a long time. Ordered the mesquite chicken salad and two orders of their fried chicken wings (plain). Each item cost $12.99. The wings might have been the worst wings I have eaten. They were EXTREMELY dry and had absolutely NO FLAVOR. My teeth had to fight with the wings to get the meat off of it. I would never eat them again, even if they were given to me for free. My family thought the same. The salad was mediocre. I used to rave about their salad years ago, but their quality has changed dramatically. Husband and mother-in-law went yesterday to get lunch and got me a to-go order. I'll briefly tell you about their experiences before I expand on mine. Husband got, what they called "The Ribeye Sandwich" ...which was a ribeye slapped on white bread hoagie. He said it tasted "alright" but overpriced for what he got. Mother-in-law got a salad with chicken strips, and said the chicken strips were "dry". SO...let's get to MY order ...I ended up getting the wings ..which honestly were the WORST wings I've tasted in a VERY long time. Only 8 wings and not a flat in sight, ALL drummettes. Flavor was mid. I will said the celery they put in were pretty fresh though. I heard the ambiance was pretty clean, the service was good, but the food is not that good...and overpriced at that. The single worst steak in steak history. Hadn't been to Logan's in a few years and remembered it used to be pretty good. I ordered the Porterhouse and it was no joke a third of an inch thick. Somehow it did come out medium rare but was so tough I couldn't cut the strip side. That steak isn't the one from the headline. My wife ordered the sirloin and we all know it's not going to be spectacular but we expect it to be edible. It was gray on the inside and sweet-spoiled with a smell that wasn't even meat. **I would like to add to my review and let everyone know I was contacted by a regional representative and was able to air my concern. My mom was sent complimentary entree certificates. Hopefully next visit will be better. I took my mother and two teenaged grandchildren tonight to the location in Garner NC. The food came out in a timely manner. Granddaughter ordered a ribeye, grandson & I chicken tenders, mom the filet mignon. All was fine except moms steak which was definitely NOT a filet mignon! It was a pice of sirloin?? With cut marks around the edges to resemble a circle (which it did not) and was about 1/2 to 3/4 in thick. Definitely NOT a filet mignon! My mom ate 3 bites and left rest. We did mention to waitress, who apologized, and we said it was not her fault. She said she would let cook know, right! My family and I went to Logan's for the first time. We have lived here for four years and never had been in to try it out. This place has amazing staff and great energy. They have fast service and good food. We ordered mainly appetizers and they were really good. Their complimentary bread is off the hook. I recommend the fried mushrooms. They have a huge window that shows the grill. You can literally watch them make your steak. It wasn't over priced or dirty. We will definitely be back. Our waited was Luke. Garner, North Carolina location. This place, despite having less than half capacity, was slow in getting the apps and main courses out to us. Not sure what was up with that. A table that came in 20 minutes after us got their food before we did. Ended up waiting an hour for a buffalo chicken sandwich, a burger and a chicken dish. Had to ask a few times for rolls, in the process. Most irritating? No one ever checked on us while we were waiting, to offer an explanation. Ordered the potato skin and mushroom appetizers. Both were "meh." The potato skins were well overdone, with black charring on the corners. The mushrooms were bearable, but had an odd texture. The food finally came out. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The fries were cold. When we were done, the waitress knew we'd had a pretty rough visit, so she presented us with a brownie to go. Finally a place I felt safe, it was clean and the staff was friendly. 3 things I was looking for in a restaurant today. 3rd times a charm. I was very pleased that I came here. The rolls they serve were warm and delicious. You literally have to restrain yourself from eating them. I could get full off the bread alone. My intentions was a drink, conversation with my bestie and munch on an appetizer. I was able to enjoy just that. The sweet potato fries were delicious. Not fried too hard or too soft. Crinkle fries are my favorite. Not many places have fried mushrooms. They give you a great portion and they are very good. My friend couldn't resist and ordered the ribs. They were so tender and falling off the bone. The broccoli was very flavorful. I will definitely order that next time I stop in. I ordered a ToGo meal for my husband. Visited again with my 2 granddaughters and great grandson Morgan. Small wait to be seated but when we were seated waiter was very prompt. Took our drink order and when he returned we ordered our food. I ordered the fried onion appetizer and they were fabulous along with the 8oz sirloin. Steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor as did the baked potato. They should be famous for their bread, it had great flavor and went well with the butter.
