Great food and service and was seated right away. Not our first time here. Always great time.

The service was very good. Melissa was our waitress and she was very patient and courteous even though she looked a little tired and did seem to be serving most of the tables all around us. I was very indecisive as I had not eaten there in a very long time and had no idea what to order. It took me awhile to decide and Melissa offered suggestions and still remained patient and courteous. I had the breaded chicken wings with an order of fries. The wings were good. The fries were just okay. The person dining with me had a chicken sandwich and fries and reported the chicken sandwich was just okay as it was borderline dry and had both sautéed and raw onions on it which he felt was a bad combination. The bread however didn't disappoint and was very good which is why I couldn't eat all of my wings even as good as they were. So overall, not too bad. After three curbsides- First one, went well. Enticed to repeat. Second one- start of a downhill spiral. They charged for an add ons, forgot two , also charged for two desserts, missing as well. Went back for missing items, meal was already getting cold, given a $10 gift card. Enticement to try again after hoping it would be like first dinner. NY strips perfect, etc. nope! Third time-There're out! NY strip was tough, way undercooked (with curbside reheating a steak, not so much). The real zinger was the ribeye. It was nothing but tough raw meat interspersed with solid raw marbling, and a couple cooked spots. Visited Logan's on Saturday evening and the place was packed! People lined up within the door who were not seated on the benches, sitting around the fireplace, some standing at the bar. Luckily, since we did not wish to wait for a table we were able to snag two vacant seats at the bar. By the way, this is one of the few steakhouses with peanuts on the floor so be careful when walking through the entry and around the bar area. Great service at the bar from Amber! We ordered cocktails and ordered two caesar salads and a steak to share. We were not in a hurry however after more an hour had passed we were still sitting without our food. Amber came over to apologize for our meal and explain the kitchen had overlooked the order so part of our tab would be comped. Wow, way to go for five star service for returning customers! Great service along with an AMAZING server! It's not often that you receive both. My food was AMAZING and my steak was cooked to perfection. The baked potato was cold and the steak was so full of fat and gristle that I could only eat 3 tough bites of the 6 oz sirloin. Great service and very pleasant server. Apparently this is a popular place because Saturday at lunch and the parking lot is full. We sat in bar area otherwise there would have been a 5-10 minute wait. The bread before the meal was nice and warm straight from the oven! It was delicious too! It had been forever since we stopped in here and gotten something to eat. No reason why just hadn't. Went on a Saturday around 2:30 and there was a 20-25 minute wait. So I really hate to do this again, but I haven't had a good experience at Logan's recently. I mean sure, business can't be perfect and good all the time but since this place is our go to place, I am expecting some kind of consistency & good vibe whenever we come here. First of all, I feel like the portion of cheese fries has gotton so much smaller than before. Oh trust me, we are Logan experts lol. We come here very often and we ALWAYS get the same menu and gosh, it just hurt our feeling when we saw that little portion. Even worse, this never happened before but when we ordered cheese fries last time, the portion was of course small but fries were cold and terrible. It was the worst cheese fries we've ever had at Logans. I think our fries were sitting in the kitchen for a while because our waitress came to our table really late. Usually they bring cheese fries within 5-10 minutes and this time, it took FOREVER. Oh wait, there's more. they had little piece of fried chicken in our fries and that disgusted me. That little piece wasn't supposed to be there and I had no idea what happened but that really upset me. I was already getting hangry since our fries came out late, and we found that little chicken piece that did not belong in our plate? what the heck? Our steak was OK, sometimes they are good, sometimes they are really rare inside. Our experience just in general wasn't that great past few months. Also, we sat close to the bathroom last time just so that we could watch the football and our whole section was so stinky, ew. I am so sad I had to update my review again, but we love Logan so much and I want everything to be almost perfect whenever we visit here. We each ordered a drink and appetizers to share as our meal. The potato skins that were brought to our table were sitting on a very hot plate, but the potato skins were old and surely not hot "at all". They were sent back so we had to wait for the kitchen staff to get right the second time. Also the women's bathroom is not cleaned regularly. Nasty dirty. Our waitress was wearing a mask, but her nose is fully exposed. We just moved back to NC from Hawaii, so it is hard to acknowledge the stupidity of folks not wearing a mask to protect themselves and others. Just plain ignorant. I won't be going back to this establishment. Trying to past off old potato skins to a customer, dirty women's bathroom and the waitress is not wearing a mask correctly. Went to this restaurant with my family. Service was slow being hardly any customers in the restaurant at the time. Still waited and ordered our food , paid and left. A couple days later while going over the bank drafts we noticed the amount was different than what the receipt showed. Upon further investigation we found that the waitress had knowingly and deliberately without my knowledge or permission changed the tip amount on the receipt by changing a 5 to 8 and changing the total amount to reflect a new higher tip. She forged my writing to reflect the new numbers. I have the duplicate receipt showing this against the store receipt. Notified the store manager and was pretty much given lazy responses about the situation. If you choose to eat here make sure you take a picture of the receipt before you leave and check your bank records to be sure they don't change the amount. read more

My daughter and I arrived at about 5:30pm on a Tuesday night and we were sat immediately. Victoria was our server. She was pleasant and thorough. She handled all the tables in her section well. Her interaction with my daughter was great! It was my daughter's first time and Victoria showed her how to open peanuts and that she could throw the shells on the floor. My daughter was so entertained with the peanut situation lol. We ordered the kids mac and cheese, with a fruit bowl and pink lemonade. My daughter ate every bit. She ate the mac and cheese at the table and the fruit when we got home! This never happens with my child, she rarely finishes her food, so that let me know it was good. We also ordered the chicken tenders meal with the side salad and a baked potato. I asked that it all be brought at the same time because I like to put chicken on my side salad because when you order the fried chicken salad there is never enough chicken and waaaaayyyyyyyy too much lettuce. This way I get my fried chicken salad and baked potato and I still have a few tenders left. We also had two baskets of rolls and they were delicious. After our meal, Victoria offered togo drinks and togo boxes! Had a great quick meal and will be back. read more

Service is always good but the food can be hit or miss at Logan's. I like the steaks, grilled shrimp, loaded mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables and rolls. They are always delicious. On this most recent visit the pork chops were overcooked so that was a tad disappointing. Overall, a good place to grab a steak at in Garner. read more

Went here a week ago and was super disappointed in the food and service! The food came out cold and under cooked, in fact one of the steaks was RAW. They offered to re cook the exact steak instead of replacing it completely, which I've never seen done at a steak house. And the steaks overall did not look at all like a 16oz ribeye or New York strip, the steaks had a ton of grizzle throughout and were super thin. The server came by maybe twice the entire meal and the so called manager didn't even offer up replacement steaks or a refund, we had to blatantly ask for our money back which he only then took off one meal. I didn't have such a great experience at Logans. On June 5, 2023, my sister and I called to ask about celebrating my moms 67th birthday there. When we called we asked a few questions about seating. Grant it, we were calling in the day of; but it was a Monday. We figured there would no issues getting seating. We initially thought we'd be there with 18 guest, so we over quoted. We were transferred to someone (manager) who kept using the word "unfortunatley". They kept saying that we couldnt all be seated together. Finally at the end of the conversation; we stated that someone would be there early to get proper seating, the manager agreed. When my sister arrived; there was no one in the building except a few staff members and the a couple customers. My sister then explained that we had called earlier and the lady ran and grabbed the manager. They worked on getting the tables set up while she waited in the lobby. They would not allow her, her husband and 2 sons to go back until there were 9 guest there. I walked in as she was sitting and asked what was the hold up; they hostess was rude and kep saying "you can't go back". Finally I demanded that we be seated bc my mother was with me and my son. Afterwards, they let us in. As we were waiting, I saw a few other guest arrive; (including my 2 older sons). I waited to see where they were and again, the freakin hostess would not allow them to come back; alond with 3 of my mom's 70 year old + sisters. I had to walk back up and demand that they are allowed to come back. Again the hostess was rude and the manager on staff. FINALLY everyone had arrived; and the servers started rushing my family to order. Again, these people are in their late 60's and 70's, being rushed to order. I ordered last bc I wanted to make sure that everyone ordered. I ordered a salad and a Ocean Rita. When my drink came; it was rushed out to me and began to drink. I noticed in the glass that there was a freakin fly stuck to the glass. I tried to get a picture of it; but someone came and snatched it away quickly before I made a scene, which COMPLETELY ruined my appetite. We asked if the air could be turned up; bc it was freezing in there; the server rolled her eyes and reluctantly turned it up. The manager on duty came and brought my drink back and asked why I wasn't smiling. I told here that I couldn't smile bc ther was just a fly in my drink. Finally at the end; the servers refused to separate the bills. Then to add insult to injury, they still charged me for the drink that I did not even drink as well as the food that I didn't eat; on top of the poor service we received. I will say that i will never return to Logans again to eat again. Something inside of me told me not to eat there after the conversation we had with the manager before we arrived. But my mom really wanted to go there for her birthday. BEWARE before going to Logans. UPDATE: I called the next day to speak with a manager (I spoke with TT) who was VERY nice. She was understanding and stated that the general manager would be giving me a call back. She never did. So I called today 6/8 and spoke with the GM Jackie, who seemed very non chalant about my experience. Stated that they would speak with team about my experience. Then added this comment "thats why we dont do parties".... that wasnt the issue. If we were told that in advance; we would have taken our group elsewhere. When I explained to her about the fly (which I did drop an F bomb bc it was disgusting), she stated that I shouldn't curse at her; in which I wasn't I was passionatley explaining the situation. When I asked about speaking to someone in corporate; she said she couldnt give out there number and asked for my information. Nonetheless, I do not expect a call back...but I felt that someone should know how they treat their customers. read more

Two stars is being kind. Me and my family have been eating at this restaurant for years. For the most part the food and service has been exceptional and our visits enjoyable. During the height of Covid we took advantage of the call in drive up service because of our loyalty to the business. On 11/26/2022, we placed a call in order with pick up just to have a quiet night at home. The steaks were not seasoned, the chicken fingers over done, the baked potatoes were the consistency of one that had been microwaved for an hour (awful) dried up and hard and the fries - not sure what happened there. The salad and bread were the hit of the night. We can all have a bad night and Logans had one with our meal. Hopefully management can instill quality still matters. read more

Upon arrival i thought this place looked so unsanitary with the spent peanut shells on the floor. Heck I still think so. In addition there were very little options on the menu for non steak eaters. Yes I know its a steak house but i still expected more. For example the only have fried shrimp and fried chicken no broiled options. Anywoo enough of the negative. On the bright side the food was awesome I ended up the salmon which was cooked to perfection and a fried shrimp appetizer. Not only were the shrimp delicious but the dang on cocktail sauce was awesome too. My companion enjoyed his steak as well. Oh and the drinks were good too. If my review confuses you at all let me sum it up-I give them five stars for the food and one star for the ambiance which averages out to a three. I am starting this review at 21 minutes since I requested a manager. See the photo attached, my waitress said she told them three times to come talk to us. The manager replied, "it's a ribeye, it's supposed to be like that. They have a lot of fat!" We were finished eating and we just wanted to basically talk to the manager and tell him that the steak was not worth $24. After 20 minutes waiting, my son tired and screaming and wife ready to go I just wanted to just leave. If I had cash I would have just tipped the waitress and left. I wasn't trying to get out of paying and of course that's the first thing they expect. Just look at the photo would you pay $24 for that much fat?!?!? It was a 16oz Ribeye! That means with all that fat it was merely a 3-4oz steak the rest is just fat that I am supposed to pay for. The salad (caesar) was good, the baked potato was great, the steak tasteless and so full of fat it was unbelievable. I have eaten countless ribeyes and I guess 10 years in Texas I am spoiled with good cuts. I could go to Walmart and get a cut better than this! It is now 30 minutes waiting for a manager! I am livid! It's cold, I have to go to the bathroom and the bus boy is just itching to bus this table. So after 50 minutes waiting for a manager to come and look at this joke of a steak. No one came to talk to us or look at the steak. Both mine and my wife's steaks were more fat than meat. Needless to say, we will never again come back to this place, nor will we recommend it to anyone! If you plan to eat steak, avoid this place like the plague or just go to Food Lion and get a steak that's 10000000000 times better than anything they offer here. I wasn't expecting anything great at a place like this, but I would have been okay with at least 50% meat. He had the chicken tenders and fries. He said the fries tasted funny and didn't eat them. I had a teriyaki steak with the fried okra and salad. First the salad. I picked out boarder line brown lettuce. The croutons were chewy and terrible. The okra I sent back because it was wet and not fried well at all. The steak was the toughest piece of shoe leather they must have found. This is the lead up though- as I am eating on my shoe leather, a roach just casually walks across the table. I show it to the waiter who returns with the manager. He comps my meal- thank god I didn't have to ask or begin to explain how wretched the food was. My wife and I were shopping nearby and picked this place for lunch from a local search. We had a brief wait to get seated but it was worth it. Our server was very friendly and easy going. My wife got the Anything and Everything salad and I got the Cheese and Bacon burger. We got bread fresh from the oven to start and when the food came out we were NOT disappointed. The cheese on my burger was a breaded cheese patty, the burger a steak burger cooked to perfection, the bacon crisp, tomato fresh! Bacon cheeseburgers are my go-to sandwich when I am not sure what to order and this one set the bar very high for any competitors! My wife kept saying how much enjoyed the salad, too. We have added this place to our favorites in our GPS and plan to return to try their dinner choices when we can. read more
