My family reserved seating for 30 people to enjoy a meal at this establishment and was sorely disappointed by the manager on duty who refused to assist himself or send an add'l waitress to assist our overburden waitress...when their was at least 2-3 waitresses or hostess standing around talking and not assisting anyone. The Bartender saved the day. I stopped into this Logan's Roadhouse after a long drive from Mobile Alabama. I was hungry after I checked into my hotel and was looking for a place to eat right away. I found Logan's on Google maps and went over to eat. When I got there the restaurant was half-empty as it was just before the dinner rush. The Hist told me they had no restaurant seating. There were many table open, but I guess this is a popular place on Saturdays. I was told I could sit in the bar area, so off I went. A few minutes later a server came by and dropped off the menus. As I was going through the menu that same server came by and told me I couldn't sit there and had to sit at the bar. I was seated in a deuce by the wall, with no other customers in the bar area. I was a little put-off and asked why, and the server just told me to go back to the Host stand. The Host told me they only had Bar seating. I told him I was in the bar. I was starting to get annoyed and googling other restaurants nearby. I was there to eat, and the restaurant was nowhere near full. Finally, I was allowed to sit at the bar, and the Bartender, sensing something was up went into super great service mode. She walked me through the menu, and when I told her about my seating experience, she laughed and said she would take care of me. Have eaten at other Logan's Steakhouse locations around the US and like the food, that's the reason I was there, I just originally wanted to sit in the restaurant. The food itself was great, and I enjoyed the food. There are some issues with the team at this location, these issues can be remedied with strong management and training. I've seen worse and the service team is very young so there is room for improvement. This is clearly a training issue. Good Luck !! This restaurant was next door to our hotel. The host that seated us was not pleasant. Our wait person was okay. I tried to order the old-fashioned, but they were out of bitters. I settled for a "Prickly Pear" margarita - it was so sweet, it tasted like syrup. The chopped steak was very dry and salty. I ordered a bowl of potato soup, I have not a clue what they brought me, definitely not a bowl of potato soup... I believe I will pass on visiting this location again. My server was really nice. The food- not so much.. we ordered the ribs, & grilled cheese kids meal. I guess we should've known better than to order ribs from a steakhouse.. They were so dry. Even slathering them in sauce didn't help. The only good thing was the rolls, and okras. I gave 1 star because my server gave us good service. 0 out of 10, I DO NOT recommend. Been a long time since I've eaten at a Logan's as most in my area have closed. Logan's has definitely not what it was 5-10 years ago. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very pleasant and kept up with the 10-12 customers at the bar very well. I ordered the Logan's 12 Oz Sirloin with salad and mashed potatoes. The salad was a standard house cucumbers, cheese, onions and lettuce nothing special. The steak was well cooked and prepared as I ordered (Medium) . A couple next to me were not so lucky their steaks were near raw. I will say this was corrected promptly and they seemed happy. I was disappointed that I wasn't offered rolls and I asked for them but still never got them. Oh well who needs carbs right? My masked potatoes were bland probably should have gotten the gravy on them huh? Overall not a bad meal and the service was fine. I would eat here again and probably will. read more

Our 14 yr old picked Logans because he saw Roadhouse and thought it would be like Texas Roadhouse bless his lil naive heart! Here goes we got in and we were not welcomed instead the person said HOW MANY? My husband said 4 which it was 3 he's used to our other son being with us. We ordered deep fried mushrooms and it took less than 5 minutes to get that to us. We ordered our food I was indecisive because I just didn't really know wat I wanted well..... the waitress literally stood there breathing down my neck until I ordered!! So unprofessional! my husband had to go get plates and silverware for us. Food came was not hot barely warm my husband ordered steak Alfredo in which the steak was not chewable he tried hard to chew it and it got stuck in his throat making it hard for him to breathe it wouldn't go down or come up. I was very scared at this point and mentioned to waitress she said oh let me get another one made. Ok that's fine maybe he can eat it later if it's chewable! It took over an hour for him to get back to normal. The waitress told the manager what was going on and he comes to our table being an arrogant smart ass asshole tryying to insinuate that sense the kitchen cooked another plate for my husband he must not be choking too bad . He took our name so that someone could check on him the next day! We never heard from anyone. This was horrible food, horrible service and horrible experience. My son went and stood at front counter to get a to go bag and 5 employees sit there and looked at him and talked amongst each other about who was gonna get up and help the customer! God forbid they do their job, right!!! The manager had a long scraggly beard that certainly needed a hairnet and he absolutely could use a customer service class or three as could all of the staff. I will never go back to this establishment.we paid over 100.00 for a meal that no one enjoyed at all! Asked for a tea refill and she said oh we poured it out already! Really when u have customers drinking tea you don't pour it out. My steak was like chewing blubber or what I would imagine chewing blubber would be like , mashed potatoes tasted straight out of th refrigerator, my sons coconut shrimp was really hard fried . Been waiting with a reservation for 9 since 1:55pm it's now 3:13pm and we are still not seated after having to wait outside in the 100 degree heat only to finally get moved to benches inside near the entrance where it is now CROWDED with people in close contact I surely hope none of the have Covid19 because there's no precautions whatsoever anymore. We were told initially it would only be a 30 minute wait it's now well over an hour and we haven't been told anything by staff of given an ETA for when we can expect a table. I have my autistic special needs son with me who is now starving is starting to fuss as we're shoved in uncomfortable seating swarmed by strangers. I would have rather sat at the house and eaten cold red hot dogs than go-to this absolute dumpster fire of a restaurant only to he on the way to waiting 2 hours for seating when we were told 30 minutes. I won't mention the multiple problems with my neck and back which are causing me increased pain having to sit in this uncomfortable seating as I watch other patrons be seated and eating while my family is starving and hot in a confined area. My fiancée and I were seated in the bar area. We waited about 8 minutes before our server came. When she arrived to the table, she bluntly asked " what y'all drinkin" I snickered as my fiancée asked her how she was doing since she didn't care to acknowledge us in the first place. It's a pet peeve of mine when servers act that way. I've been in hospitality and restaurant business since I was 15 and I'm 39 now. So I have years of experience. She put our drinks in and they came out 15 minutes later. We decided to go on and have our order ready when and if the server came back! The manager stopped by our table to see if we had been waited on because clearly, we didn't have anything on our table. Fast forward, we got our food. Fiancée's steak was super RARE and not medium so we sent it back. My ribs were not fantastic. I just got a Togo box to our my food in there our children will eat those lol.. Servers were passing us and 2 tables that came after us were already served with drinks. Waited for a few minutes until we decided to leave. Went to Cracker Barrel next door! What went wrong ? I believe the hostess didn't inform the server because the other tables that came after us were ushered by different hostess, the servers were different as well. The servers that were passing should've ask if we've been helped. When we told the front desk they're too busy for us she looks lost. Coz she knows the restaurant is half empty or even less. My wife and I were travelling though Meridian on Monday (3/4/23) and stopped for dinner. The draft beer had a strange taste (switched to bottled) and the rolls were not fresh. We were promised fresh rolls when they were ready, but they never arrived. Service was extremely slow. When our entrees finally arrived, the steaks were barely warm and the sides were cold. The order had obviously sat a long time before it was delivered to us. The filet mignon had a fishy taste and the ribeye was over seasoned. SERVICE IS AMAZING, the food is not. We were seated immediately after walking in at 8:30pm on a friday night. I thought this was unusual, coming from out of town where we normally would be fighting for a table at this time. We started with the potato skins which were extremely mid. The taste was just not up to par. There was NO seasoning. Then we ordered a ribeye to share. My husband IMMEDIATELY pointed out to me that it didn't look or taste right to him. I had a SLIVER of a bite and agreed, the steak tasted old. It just definitely tasted not fresh. When our waitress came back to check on us, she immediately noticed something was up, and i told her about the steak. She immediately took it back and got us a new one. Once again it just tasted OFF, the coloration of both steaks also appeared strange. I was just so turned off by the first one, and the second was not much better. The waitress immediately took this one back and took it off our check. She handled this situation with such kindness and empathy. She listened to us and quickly and effectively fixed the situation. Took our order and then we waited 40 minutes for food. Steak had been sitting out under heat lamp so was charred on top and cold In the middle. Other order was salmon and they brought out chicken. Took another 25 minutes for that and by then everyone else was done eating. 2 hours for terrible food. And all they said was, we charged you for the chicken and not the salmon.
