The location of this establishment is pretty good. It's located next to Best Buy and near the Target shopping area. The parking lot is large enough to accommodate even the busiest days. It's pretty much right next to the freeway. However, the parking lot is slightly dark at night though. I haven't been to this location in well over a decade but last time I came I remember there used to be peanut shells everywhere, perhaps they don't do that anymore. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted and seated right away. To our surprise, there was a person making balloon animals for patrons. The ambiance was nice, it had regulars at the bar making small talk with the workers and a group in the party room. The regulars looked so happy to be there, and now I know why. Their country playlist was insane because they played nothing but bangers. I swear I shazamed like 20 songs while there to add to my playlist. They had plenty of TVs watching a plethora of games which was nice because they were showing the beam team play #LIGHTTHEBEAM Our server Lety was spectacular! She came by multiple times to see how we were doing. There was never a second where we were left needing something. She was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. We received our food in under 10 minutes which was nice. The flavor was surprisingly good. I couldn't recall what the flavor would be like since it was a while since my last visit but I thought it would be similar to a Chilis or Applebees but was shocked when I had my first bite. The steak was flavored very well and wasn't tough at all. Their ranch was also really good and creamy. It complimented well with the onion rings and sweet potatoes fries which were warm and crunchy. And what can I say about the dinner rolls? They might be the most valuable asset known to humanity. They are ever so soft, sweet, warm, and the butter on top hits you like a truck on the freeway going 75mph. What makes the rolls better is that they are included with your meal! The water was arctic tundra cold. In general, the meal was 10/10 slap your mother good. I left feeling very full after coming in pretty much starved. The prices were actually really good. I fully expected to drop like $40+ here but was happy to walk out for $27. Sides were like $3, in this economy those prices are almost unheard of! We came here for the first time last week and really enjoyed the food. Everything came out warm and we had great service from our server. You can tell they were a little bit backed up in the kitchen, but it was also a Saturday night. We brought our little ones with us and they absolutely love the kids menu. First of all, to get the rolls that Logan's used to always bring out right away, now you HAVE to ask for them per their new policy according to our waiter Luis. Secondly, I ordered an appetizer as my meal & my husband got a main course. I think we waited almost 40mins for food even though the waiter assured us our food was coming out. Then we watched tables around us get food, but finally it came. My husbands French dip was lukewarm at best as were his fries, but my meal was hot. I guess they might have forgotten my meal after they made my husbands? Anyways, I guess this was just an off night, but it was still disappointing & our waiter did apologize for the delay in us getting our food. We happened to be in the neighborhood while waiting for a car stereo installation performed by Best Buy. That's when we noticed Logan's Roadhouse next door and that it had been a long time since we had been back here. I was a little sad that the Logan's near our house in Elk Grove went out of business, so seeing this place still up and running was a pleasant surprise. The menu contained a lot of old favorites that we remembered, but also some new additions as well! We almost did our usual appetizer mix along with drinks, but decided to order entrees instead. I got the popcorn shrimp with coleslaw and sweet potato fries, while Joe K got a full ribs dinner with rice and cooked apples. He washed it down with a Track 7 beer and I splurged on a Strawberry Rita. Everything was delicious. The service by JT was pleasant and spot on. Have not been to a LR in probably 3-5 years. I don't remember it being great nor bad. Boss man says, "hey they're open for dine-in. You want to go?" and treated my co-worker and I out to lunch yesterday. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress came soon after. We got an appetizer sampler of fried mushrooms, onion petals, and mozzarella sticks. Perfect amount for the three of us but everything clearly tasted like it was previously frozen. Nothing was made from scratch. Disappointed in onion petals because they were just onion rings. I ordered the sirloin tips with two sides from the lunch meal deal for $10.99 but added the sauteed onions and mushrooms for extra $1.99. My two sides were broccoli and rice pilaf. Entire plate arrived at room temperature at best like it had been sitting awhile. The tips were chewy as heck. The rice had a weird after taste that I didn't eat it. The mushrooms and onions were awful and hardly recognizable. Broccoli was the only decent thing on there. The food overall was no better than cheap diner food where everything comes from a can or frozen and then sits in a warmer until someone orders it. I wonder if anything was made from scratch? They ain't cheap either so no thank you. They are comparable to a Chilis in prices. The only saving grace was that our waitress gave good service. Had to flag her down once but then again she was the only one working it seemed to take care of 4 tables. She did ask at one time how was our food? we just said the standard good. Came here to eat for the first time with my boyfriend around 9pm on a Friday night (the lack of customers should've been a noticeable red flag). We ordered their limited time 2 for $55 (mozzarella sticks to start, steak cooked medium well with shrimp & a medium 12oz ribeye), fried pickles, 2 waters, & 2 cocktails. We got our appetizers before our cocktails, which is fine our server was busy, so it wasn't a big deal to us. our fried pickles were extremely greasy & salty & the mozzarella sticks weren't cooked all the way. We decided we were just going to take the appetizers home and cook them how we wanted since it was clearly hard to cook easy appetizers correctly. Then our entrees arrived. My medium well steak was cooked perfectly, however my boyfriend's medium ribeye was cooked well done. So, we informed our server and she had the cook redo it. The second time around, the ribeye was rare. Yet again, we had to send the food back. This is a "steakhouse," shouldn't these cooks be getting the cook right the first time...? Anyways, food finally comes back out & it was cooked medium rare. AGAIN, not medium. He decided that it's fine & there's no point sending it back a 3rd time. The manager comes up and asks, "how's your ribeye now? Good? Ok good." Thanks for the good customer service I GUESS? This place is just another Applebees to me. First & last experience. Our server Sarah was great & she wasn't the problem at all. The management & the cooks were our issue. My hubby and I are eating and I am writing this review because I feel they deserved every star that Yelp have to offer. This is not my first time at Logan. Logan is like our to go restaurant when we can't think of anything new to try. Their price is very reasonable and food is always hot and delicious. No need to say more service is excellent. My husband has to lick his plate hahahaha look at the photos!! My fiancée ordered the prime rib med/rare and I ordered the 12oz ribeye medium. The prime rib came out as an end cut and the only pink was on the surface and crusty with a lot of fat, even for prime rib. Sent it back and we received a paper thin cut that looked like someone was just trying to get rid of scrap. The au jus was unbearably salty with no real flavor. My ribeye came out well done, paper thin, and tasteless. If the manager was there, he didn't care enough to expo and send the food out with some degree of love The spicy green beans were not bad but the fried mushrooms were soggy. The green beans and the bread rolls get the two stars. Everything else, epic fails that cost 130$ for two people. I couldn't help to compare but I felt you would get more food at Texas Roadhouse for the price! We got the Logan's which is a 11oz sirloin which came with 2 sides. The steak was a good portion and came out good. My bf and I both got medium rare, but they came out really differently. Mine was a lot more rare. With the sides, I find it a little absurd to make a Caesar salad a "premium" side with an addition of $0.99. None of the regular sides appealed to me that day so I got the sweet potato fries and the mushroom skewers. My bf also got the Logan's with the vegetable skewers and loaded mash potatoes which is a "Loaded" side with an addition of $1.99. The "loaded" side was a little sad. Small portion and doesn't come with green onion and sour cream. It comes with small pieces of bacon and some cheese. I would recommend the mushroom and vegetable skewers! They were good!! The bread basket came out HOT!! Yum! I wouldn't mind coming again. There was definitely a lot of ppl inside despite being in a pandemic. Some of the tables were a little close for comfort. This was my husband and I first time here and we will be coming back! We took the order to go so I can't say how it was eating there but I will say this......When we walked in about 2pm on a Saturday, the place was empty. It was so flavorful and juicy, just a little pink on the inside, not tuff or dry at all, just perfect! I really love Logan's Roadhouse, it's super special to me because it's where my Husband asked me to be his girlfriend and so we go often. But lately the food has really changed, We got our usual last night and my angry pickles were huge, breaded different, they definitely didn't come off the stick they usually cook them on and our steaks were of poor food value. I'm only yelping to help the restaurant know their customers are seeing the difference in the food quality, with same prices. Went in with the wife on a Friday around 530pm. Our server, Brii, was on top of everything. A wave of guests came in all at once and she kept her composure and tactfully took care of everyone without making them feel rushed. She helped us pick out a dinner (delux burger and a steak combo), and even talked us into dessert (banana cream pie). I really want to shout out the manager, a gentleman wearing a black logans polo. The entire time we were there I saw him help running food, pre-bussing, table touching, and helping his staff. I walked by the entry way to the kitchen on the way to the bathroom and heard him giving praise to the staff. I've been in the business and managers like him do not grow on trees, you got a gem. Very happy with my experience here, and with Natomas needing go-to full-service restaurants to step up as a whole, Logan's is probably the first place I'd recommend because of the culture the staff has.
