I stopped by BJ's for a later lunch early dinner with friends. I have been to other BJ's locations and decided I would try this location. I have to say it's spacious and it's was very busy which was a great sign. The staff were fantastic. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and Pinot Noir, I can't remember the brand, but it was delicious. So let me begin with I hate doing reviews on a first time experience as well as 1 star reviews. but this warrants a manager intervention. Maybe even regional manager. I believe everyone deserves grace but this lack of service went beyond anything I've experienced in a long time. We were greeted promptly by our server Danyce . My Mediterranean bowl was cold . And when I brought it to my servers attention she amended it and then we literally never saw her after that We sat down at 6 and didn't leave until 8:30. Like why is he delivering our waters ? Where is our server? Shortly thereafter our server introduced a man to all her tables I guess because she was taking a break???? She never introduced him to our table At this time we had already eaten & when the aioli finally came long, the flatbread was already consumed. In the interim there are more than a few tables losing their patience within their own atmosphere regarding their service with the same server. I had to get my own water buss my own table and ask the hostess stand to provide to-go containers When it was 8:15 she dropped the bill off walked away Was on her phone at the hostess stand And my daughter finally had had enough, went to the hostess stand to pay the bill And our server told her she had to give the bill to another woman I was floored !!!!!!! Prolly the worst BJ's service & food I've ever had. Our waiter was high asa kite so that was entertaining. Their refrigerator broke and they didn't tell us until after we ordered. Bro came out to tell us all the tap beers were warm so they could offer us some bottled beers and he would come out with and "alternative equivalent". I started coming to BJ's Brewhouse locations more lately, cause I really love their deep dish pizzas. No, it's not as good as real Chicago deep dish, like that Manelli's or whatever place in Chicago, but it's what we have around here. Plus, right now BJ's Brewhouse has this lunch special Pizookie thing dealie. For just $13.00 you get your choice of a bunch of different combos toppings on a personal deep dish pizza served with a salad including Caesar salad. Plus, at the end you get a mini Pizookie dessert. That mini size is plenty of dessert after that pizza and salad. The inside of this location looks pretty much like all the BJ's locations, kinda of an upscale casual. I got seated just fine by the host and a friendly server came by and got my drink order. I still gotta do some work today, so no beer with pizza this time. I ordered the BJ classic combo personal pizza with a Caesar salad and dessert. The salad comes and it's pretty decent sized and dressed properly, not over dressed all gloppy or anything. I forgot I should have asked for anchovies in the Caesar, but no biggie. The pizza comes, and at first look, you might think, that's kinda small, like in diameter, but it way thicker than a normal pizza. Deep Dish filled with toppings and tons of pepperoni on top. I asked for lots of the red sauce and used a bunch or the parmesan cheese they have all on top. My first bite of the pizza, oh yeah, that's good! I managed to finish the whole thing. Came here on a Tuesday night after not being here in years. Pretty busy but got sat quickly in the back dining room area. Tons of booths and table space. 4/5 Honey sriracha brussels sprouts, not too sweet with just the right amount of crispy crunch. 4/5 boneless buffalo chicken wings. The boneless wings are not huge but portions plentiful! We couldn't finish it all. 4/5 Ribeye w/mash & asparagus. Ribeye was good considering it's not a steakhouse. They cooked it perfectly medium rare and char and flavor were good once I added some salt. Cheddar mash was good, asparagus was cooked well but next time I may upgrade to brussels or get garlic veggies (mushroom, cauliflower & broccoli tonight) 4/5 Strawberry fields salad. Strawberries weren't sweet and chicken a bit dry but overall with blue cheese and pecans it was decent. 5.5/5 strawberry shortcake pizookie! Well one evening a few years back I was enjoying a Fathers Day meal at BJs here in Natomas and the wonderful bartender asked me if I knew about their beer club that they offer at all BJs in California.I told her I had not and she offered to explain to me what it was-I was all ears for this. She explained to me that their beer club at BJs gave its members a super secret bi-monthly release,usually a 4 or 6 pack of beer along with a a 750 ML bottle of craft beer specifically picked for that month. On top of the beer offerings,bi-monthly members got a free Large pizza of choice for takeout only,a free appetizer which was dine in only and a free Pizookie which could be enjoyed dine in or take out. Other perks that are enjoyed by the members that I enjoy is each member gets a take home beer glass that says founding member of BJs beer club on it,also whenever you go to BJs and tell them your in the beer club they give u a 22 ounce pour for the price of a 16 ounce pour in a special beer club members only glass-it's silly but I like it. I think the last perk you get is the ability to buy 6 packs at a discounted rate of $7,which I think is a $4 discount on their regular prices. Now how much does all this crazy amount of fun going to cost ya to join this awesome club to enjoy all these wonderful perks?Not much-it's so cheap-BJs only charges $30 every other month to be in their club,so averages out to $15 a month and your in the club-heck the large pizza alone is valued at over $30 and you still get all the other beer-appetizer-Pizookie-perks-it's such a good price and value-I love it. The beer club is great because the free appetizer usually turns into a Happy Hour mini "date night" with the wifey and the large pizza usually turns into a quick emergency dinner when nobody feels like cooking or if one of the kiddos randomly stops by unannounced and lets be honest-who doesn't want to enjoy a pizookie at least once over a 2 month time span-it's all perks. Came here on a Wednesday night to catch the first Kings game of the season... I approached the bar coyly and found one of the last seats open...the bartender Jordan T. greeted me warmly and let me know it was Wing Wednesday...I also asked for any non-alcoholic drinks/mocktail options and he guided me right to where they were at on the menu and also said he could make a Blushing sangria with alcohol free red wine. I ordered 6 boneless wings with 2 different sauces and a side of ranch for $5. Also a club soda and lime followed by the blushing sangria. He even showed me the wine he used in it. I love how Jordan was so nice and patient with all the guests and always kept us updated on where he was at and he would never keep us wondering if he saw that we needed something - he was so in tune and there was even a couple who was ordering things and they just seemed to be out of everything they wanted, and he tried to resolve and offer alternatives. It was such a great experience and welcome to the neighborhood and he really made me want to go back... Enjoyed dining here for dinner. Our server was Tyler. We came before the dinner rush, and we were seated right away. The ambiance is very casual and laid back. Nice decor with tv screens throughout. Waters were brought out and we proceeded to order the oven roasted Salmon dinner and the brewhouse bites sampler. Wait was not long. Both entrees were very good. The salmon was cooked just right, not dry nor undercooked. The rice pilaf was seasoned right with broccoli florets. Hubby had the brewhouse sampler of sliders, chips and dip, and mozzarella sticks which was a lot of food. Sliders were delicious. He selected the guacamole dip but thought it had more salsa than avocado in it. The mozzarella sticks were good when eaten while still hot and had a good crunch to it. My go to is the tomato basil mozzarella salad it's refreshing bright and just the perfect acidic start to a meal!! It's been a while since we've eaten at BJ's. We had a horrible experience a few years ago at the location near our house in LA, and it soured us. That is until tonight... Came to town to visit family, and we decided to go to BJ's. I was not excited, but went along with it. Checked in, and the hostesses were kinda meh. Not warm and fuzzy, not talkative or welcoming. They seemed annoyed to be there. But once our whole group arrived, we were brought to our table for 7 which was tucked away in the back where employees take their break and/or roll the silverware in napkins. I was already kinda like great, this isn't gonna be good. That was until our server Zack arrived. He was funny and charming, plus he made us crack up all night. His banter with me was next level, and I loved it! As for the food...DELISH! There were several items ordered between the family, but my husband and I shared a pizza. It was really good! And the funniest part of the night was that all 7 of us shared the new butterfinger pizookie. Yes, all of us shared one. Crazy as it sounds, we actually had birthday cake back at the house, but everyone wanted to try the new flavor. We all took a few bites, and it was so good! The butterfinger pizookie is probably the best one they have. Anyway, yes the food was really yummy, but the service from Zack made our family dinner even better. Our food came out within a reasonable time frame. However half way through eating we realized we never got our ciders. Disappointing. The deep dish pizza is actually very good. Nice and crispy sides and a good shareable portion (but still relatively small pizza). The kids meals are a hit and we even got a kids dessert which was a perfect size. We finished our lunch.... So this was my first time ever at a BJs and the only reason I came was because I have some family members that love BJs so I wanted to get gift cards for Xmas. Anyway, we sat it the bar area because the hostess was busy with others and we didnt want to wait for her. Once we sat ourselves, the server in the bar area was quick and accurate. I got the salad and personal pizza for $13. The salad was good, decent sized. The pizza was a bit smaller than expected and sadly wasn't very hot but warm enough I didn't feel like complaining. Oh gosh, it pains me to to give these guys anything less than a good review after so many years of finding them to be a really solid choice for dinner. However, things have changed. I was in the restaurant business for over 10 years. I know that it's best not to send food back to the kitchen if you can possibly avoid it. Just trust me on this. However, in my last two visits, I found that what I had was literally not edible. First time it was a steak dish. The steak was ordered, medium rare. To say it was tough was an understatement. I could barely cut it with a knife. The waiter even saw me struggling and asked if things were OK. Of course he took it back and he actually removed it from my bill. Second time I had the tri-tip dip sandwich. It was as though they had dipped the entire thing in a bowl of salt. I literally had two bites and that's all I could handle. (And it was the meat itself, not the dip.) I told the waiter it was ridiculously over salted. He didn't offer to take it off our bill and I didn't push it. I probably should have. That's on me. I'm not exactly sure what is happening here. It was always a very consistent place to go to. They pretty much have something for everyone and it's not crazy expensive. I just can't take a chance on coming back. My friend said that her pizza is always good so I suppose if I have to, that's what I'll have. Service has also been a bit hit or miss. While the servers are always very friendly and helpful, they seem to be scarce sometimes. I'm not sure if that's a matter of them being given stations that are too large or if maybe they are understaffed? I'm not sure. It seems like they hire good people which I like. Unfortunately, I can't recommend BJ's anymore. I will continue to check out other locations if I need a pazookie, but I won't be coming back to this one anytime soon. read more

We've been to this BJ's location on a few times and I can honestly say it has not been different with one exception. I'll start off with the good which was the wagyu Burger we decided we were going to split one because we were there just to watch our daughter as she was with her friends after their dance recital. We ordered it medium well with fries and it was so good that we had to order a second one which we also ordered medium well with fries the first one was phenomenal the second one was overcooked and was not nearly as good as the first one we also ordered the Pizookie which was advertised all over the place and my wife liked it however I found it to be too sweet but that's just a personal preference I don't care for sweets as much as she does so that was pretty good according to my wife the ambiance was the same as it always is at BJ's it's loud it's busy and it's pretty fun to go to so the Ambiance was also kind of like a sports bar it's entertaining and fun then we get to the service when we got there nobody greeted us my daughter went over to her friends table and they were giving some kind of hassle about not being allowed to sit together even though they did anyway and we went straight to the bar sat in front of dirty glasses and we pushed them off to the side and waited about 5 to 10 minutes before I called over the bartender who was busy chit-chatting with other patrons after I called him over a young lady watched as we were calling him and she assisted us got us our green tea shots which were delicious however I would have liked them to be on Ice just so they could be colder but we didn't know what to expect for those so they were pretty good she was Johnny on the spot. We ordered our food with her and she brought it out and that's the food that was delicious we sat there another 30 minutes just drinking our water our drinks and finishing up our initial hamburger when we decided to order a second one with the bartender that was already back there and he brought it out pretty quick however it was overdone and we didn't really like it too much but we ate it anyway so I can't complain about that overall I couldn't write it any higher than the three stars I gave it because the service was very much lacking and the food wasn't cooked the same both times which is understandable because it is hard to do we'll probably be back but I don't know if we'll go to the bar anymore because it felt more like friends at one end and we're getting ignored at the other read more

Still, the dish held together well, and I'd happily order it again BJ's Classic Rib-Eye (4/5): Nicely grilled with solid char and solid juiciness. The ribeye was cooked to temp but leaned a little chewy and needed a touch more salt to bring out its full potential. It didn't quite have that deep, buttery flavor you want from a ribeye, but it was still satisfying. She brought some of the food and we were like where is the rest. Anna replied, "it will come when it comes" 45 minutes later we asked politely where is the food. Service was terrible, not only from the server but what appeared to be the manager. Keep in mind when reading this review that the restaurant was nearly half empty. We first received our 4 of 5 drinks 20 minutes after ordering and then another 10 minutes for the 5th drink which was ordered at the same time. My iced tea had no ice and neither did two of the sodas. We also requested water and never received them. My "iced" tea refill was warm and also had no ice. The server then offered ice but never brought it. 3 of us ordered the soup and salad and after ordering another soup and salad, it wasn't brought to the table for at least 20 minutes, at which time we decided to leave. When being served, what appeared to be the manager stepped in to serve us and handed off the food like they were super busy and nearly tossed them to us. The wilted, soft lettuce salad's had been sitting for a while before being served as well as the mushy bun hamburger and two of the mildly warm soups. The Pizookies were more like Poozookies with melted ice cream which had to be sitting, waiting to be served for quite sometime. Because of the slow service and inattentive server, we were there for an hour and 45 minutes. My family normally goes to the Arden BJ's and our experience there is always top notch. This BJ's was not even remotely close and was highly disappointing for my families Friday night dinner together. If you want to go to BJ's and you're near Natomas, skip it and drive another 30 minutes to the Arden location to avoid disappointment. We ordered some Uber eats for supper and we were let down a lot unfortunately. We got the Sirloin and Ribs combo with a few starters for the family. The ribs were decent, a step up from Applebees for taste and quality and our first time trying them from BJ's. All the sides were as good as expected with the Brussels sprouts being a personal fave. All things considered for a delivered meal it was...okay. But the sirloin wrecked the meal and experience for us. The meat was gray, pink centered but gray and loose too. It was like they seared off the edges to give it some marks and then microwaved it warm when we ordered. It was borderline inedible, luckily my pups could eat well as it was hardly seasoned at all. Chris and Kai were our servers tonight. We have our two babies with us tonight and usually dinners are chaotic. As parents we do the best we can! Tonight many times we were met with grace and smiles! No complaints from them, even after having them up and down with requests! We absolutely love how attentive and friendly the staff is! This is second mile service and I am happy to find our regular friday night dinner spot! Update: The manager called us personally to apologize for the meal and was very kind. She also apologized as she thought she took care of removing the salad from our bill. Sent us a gift card which was much appreciated! Service like this is why we will return! We just visited BJ's in Natomas. While we typically love the food and service, my mom's chicken Cesar salad was filled with half rotten lettuce. The manager checked in with us multiple times and we informed her about the lettuce but told her we didn't need a new one, just wanted to let her know. She said she would take care of it and even chatted with us a bit. Well, when the bill came, nothing was rectified and the server wasn't able to do anything either. She even messed up our bills and switched the cards, which then took another 10 minutes to fix. Quite disappointed since we brought out of town guests with us. read more
