I liked that they offered an opportunity to check the wait times. We were a party of 2 and were seated immediately. The restaurant is smaller and has an old fashioned diner feel with their decor. Our server, Diana, was pleasant and kept our coffee cups full. We ordered the Swedish pancake combo meals with a side of hash browns. All the food was prepared well and very tasty.

Cute diner with good food and service! This isn't modern but if you're looking for basic breakfast it's a good place! We got the omelette, French toast and blintz and on a cold, rainy day this hit the spot!

Breakfast special. 2 eggs, hash browns, choice of toast or pancakes.

Quick breakfast spot that has an old school neighborhood vibe. Very prompt service and the food was out in no time. Price was good and the food was delish and as expected. I'm a fan.

Very good diner fare with very good service! My experience is definitely colored by the Pokemon card vending machine in the front served me a shiny rare card, but I did enjoy my wrap and all of my compatriots liked the breakfast and lunch options. Choosing some lighter fare, my tuna salad wrap was very tasty and really hit the spot. Love the kettle chips and I started with a side salad. The salad was not remarkable, but always great getting some greens. The hash brown nests are the real draw here. My companion had a sausage with eggs breakfast all wrapped up in crispy griddle hash browns - I mean, what about that doesnt sound amazing? The coffee kept flowing and they offered to go cups for us! Classic diner vibes and a good solid stop on your way through.

It's an old school diner feel - box cereal, pies in a cooler, cooks busting out great meal after meal. Takes you right back to the 90's. My first time here and brought my parents. We all loved it. Dined for $115 with tip and we all had an omelette with a protein, side of bacon, and coffees. I got the Spartan omelette. It was recommended and right up my alley with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and feta cheese. I also added bacon and it was delicious! I was able to get it with a cut banana and it was perfectly ripe. My husband got the Denver omelette which is also know as a Western- ham, onion, bell pepper, and American cheese. He really liked his as well as my parents who ordered Corned Beef Hash omelette and Spartan. I will definitely be back! It was so good, we didn't even take a second to snap a pic!

They asked if I wanted to meet for breakfast, and so after looking up the options close to their hotel (which was surprisingly limited), I stumbled upon Elly's. After looking at Yelp reviews, it seemed like a great option and would be easy for them to Uber to. And it was a great choice. We ordered coffee, which they promptly refilled multiple times for us, and then two of us got the crepes with either strawberries or blueberries on top, and the other got one of the omlettes. The crepes were extremely good. Portions are great and prices are reasonable given the amount of food. The staff was friendly at 6:45 in the morning (they were way more awake than I was) No photos of the food because it was my first time meeting one of my colleagues IRL (and only the second time meeting the other) and I didn't want to be weird haha. But trust me that the food looked great. I took my leftovers home to my parents' house (because I was visiting them afterward). I let my dad have them because I knew they wouldn't survive the extra 90 minutes back to my house when I was done with my visit. He told me later he put vanilla ice cream on them and they were delicious, so they held up well in the 45 minutes it took me to get from Elly's to their house, and being reheated later in the day. I'd definitely go back anytime coworkers are at a conference and want to meet up (which is surprisingly often. Perks of living near a hub!)

I don't remember it being this bad but... now I know, I guess. Food was not great. The pancakes were kind of--well, gummy is the word that springs to mind. Not pleasant to eat, at any rate. The omelet I ordered, the Southwestern Omelet I think, was ok. It was a bit thin, but maybe that's just because there were a lot of ingredients in it. The "Homemade" lemonade tasted like it was fountain lemonade. I left half of it, and the half that was consumed was mostly because my child wanted some. That was especially disappointing, because I don't order lemonade at restaurants unless it's not Minute Maid because that stuff is awful--and if Elly's truly has homemade lemonade, they should be embarrassed that it tastes identical to what Coke sells. I don't usually eat everything when I go out for breakfast and am happy to take half home for another breakfast, but I didn't want to take any of this home with me. I will say that they're fast--we were here less than an hour. I think it took fewer than 15 minutes from the time we were seated to when we got our meal, and we didn't order immediately upon being seated. We went on Saturday round 9:45 a.m. and it was half empty, though it was Easter weekend so I'm not sure if that had any impact.

My guest ordered the banana French toast, and she noted that it was perfectly cooked and not overly sweet pre-syrup. We shared the Nutella crêpes, and they were delightful. This is an old-fashioned mom-and-pop diner serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was simple, homemade-style comfort food, and everything we had was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. I almost passed on trying this place because I saw a review mentioning rude staff and racist comments, but I'm really glad I gave them a chance. The majority of the kitchen staff was Hispanic, and one of the servers was as well, so I highly doubt those comments are accurate. The staff may be a little more mature/old-school, but they were absolutely not rude. BTW, my husband is Mexican, and everyone was very kind and polite to us. If you appreciate a full cup of coffee (they actually come around and top it off often!) and good, simple diner food, give them a try. Nice to see places like this still exist!
