The feel/ambiance was more like a diner than a cafe. I was given a booth and immediately regretted it because the cushions were useless. I felt like a child sitting there because the seats were low. It doesn't help that I'm not very tall either. The food was okay, and the portions were generous. I ordered the sweet potato skillet, which came with diced ham, cheese, and eggs. It also came with a short stack of pancakes, which were also generously sized. Although you definitely need butter and syrup on the pancakes, it wasn't very tasty without them. I could only finish half of this meal and had to take the rest home. Do not order the coffee, it tasted terrible, as if it were burnt. The server was very friendly and attentive at first. Dined in for a Father's Day breakfast and had such warm, welcoming service. Brunch Cafe truly has something for everyone & I was so surprised by the quality of the food! My family is fully a savory meal crowd, so we loved having options that weren't just two eggs with toast. There were assortments of skillets to choose from, frittatas, stuffed potato pancakes, chicken fried steak -- they really had it all. The food came out fast and had so much flavor, for the price you really can't beat it. On my second visit I was able to get a table for my two friends and myself on a bustling Saturday morning. They had never heard of this place and were surprised by the inside after finding it in the strip mall that it's in. (They now have a large banner on the outside to help people find it.) Both of my friends ordered omelets which came with two sides. They were healthy portions and they both enjoyed their meals. I had one of the crepe dishes and they were fantastic! I ordered turkey sausage extremely well done and had to send them back to cook longer. We ordered their cold brew but it was terrible. Tasted really funny so we didn't drink them. We should have had them taken off the bill but we didn't. Their prices are reasonable so it was ok. I enjoyed my visit again and will be back. read more

My nieces got chocolate chip pancakes, and it's great that the meal came with a drink. I had the Chilaquiles, which were good, but I noticed there weren't many vegetarian-friendly savory options. If you're a vegetarian, your choices feel pretty limited unless you want something sweet. Overall, it was just an okay experience. Good food at a fair price. The service was quick and efficient with the meals being prepared correctly. There can be a wait on the weekends, but that's to be expected with any brekky place. No problems getting in during the week. I always go for the Country Fried Steak, this is one of the few places north of Texas that does it well. Went in today on a quiet Wednesday and the girl with long brown hair in the front, I smiled and asked for 3, she didn't acknowledge me she just said to follow her and she nearly ran to the table while I'm holding a 6 month old in a car seat. Everything tasted good. My boyfriend and I both got a skillet with a side of pancakes. The steak in the skillet was tender and paired well with the mushrooms and onions. Veggie skillet was delicious. Veggies were cooked right. there was the perfect amount of cheese. Pancakes were soft and cooked perfectly. The maple syrup they have tasted real. It didn't taste artificial. Customer service was great. We came on a Sunday morning. There was a wait, but they do serve you fast once you are seated. Our waitress checked on us often. The ambience is light and pleasant, like a sunny morning, perfect for brunch. I ordered the Lemon Poppyseed Crepes--and I highly recommend them. On arrival it looked like a bit less food than the other meals (some of the tables near us were getting something huge that I think was an omelette of some sort), but two crepes turned out to be perfectly filling for me. Our latest 'adventure' here was better than our previous visits. For this occasion, we brunched with a group of 15. Our wonderful server kept coffee mugs full and ensured that our orders would be accurate. Everything was delicious and served at the appropriate temperature. But the downside, not surprisingly, was a 45-minute wait for our food. The only nitpicky thing I can fault the staff on is not bringing spoons when the coffee was served. Curiously, the ketchup was served in tiny ramekins. Why? "We don't serve ketchup in squeeze bottles," our server explained. Came here for brunch with family. We had a newborn, a toddler and a baby all who joined. First to say it was very family oriented. They were understanding of us having kids. One was walking around, one dropping food. Did not know this but they provide a a stand to put your car seat up so don't have to put it on the floor. Bathroom has a changing table. Service was good! They were attentive and accommodated. Since we had one napping and grandma waiting, they didn't join us till half hour later. But they came back and accommodated our orders. I decided to have french toast because of the attractive pictures on here. I tried the monthly special ube french toast. The sweet cream sandwiched between the toasts and the ube sauce were delicious. It looked very artistic too! I also like how the toasts were not drenched in syrups. My boyfriend had the smoked salmon plate and he enjoyed it too. This restaurant seems very popular as I had to wait in line for around 15 minutes on a Sunday morning before getting seated. Glad the waiting area had chairs so I didn't have to stand in line. This place is right across from Advocate Lutheran General hospital where my boyfriend will be working at. I recently visited here with some elderly friends. When I arrived before them, I immediately noticed the music was very loud. I was afraid my friends may not be able to hear our conversation, so I asked the staff to turn it down, which they did with a smile. It had to be turned down a second time, which the owner did without hesitation. These are nice people. That makes such a difference when dining somewhere. You feel welcome! The food was delicious. I had a veggie omelette and a side of ham off the bone. The veggie omelette couldn't have fit another veggie! It was delicious! And huge! It was enough for two meals for me. And the fruit was fresh. The coffee is good, not great, but exactly what I would expect. And I never had to ask for a refill. I asked for almond milk for my coffee, which they provided at no extra cost.
