    Red guava lemon tea

Came back to try their chicken sando, which was delicious! I like that their chicken is well seasoned, and you can tell it's fried to crispness, but the sauce does make it a bit soggy. The Midodo sauce does also add a lot of flavor. Again, the chicken isn't the typical Taiwanese popcorn chicken, but the batter is pretty delicious. I'm glad they can cut the sandwich in half cuz I can't finish it unless I'm starving! Their fries are addicting. They remind me of McDonald's fries since they are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, slightly chewy, cut perfectly thinly. The Jasmine milk tea is a bit watered down side for me, as I like my jasmine milk tea stronger and creamier. Boba was fine. I would come back for their chicken!

Passed by and saw a new name to this location and decided to give it a shot. A good selection to choose from, I ended up ordering their curry fish balls and their jasmine milk tea. Their boba was a little on the chewier side if that's what you're into. The fish balls were good, I was really surprised to see it really drenched in curry. They have chicken sandwiches and tender too. Definitely will try it out the next time we're there.

New spot that took over the recently closed Tea 18 in the Elk Grove Donuts shopping center! They're currently in soft opening, and I took advantage of the $1 HK Lemon tea deal with purchase of a food item. The chicken sando was surprisingly good, I had low expectations but the chicken was so juicy and tender! The bread was super soft too, looked like a potato roll, which overall makes the sandwich a bit soft/messy but I'd rather have that than something dry! My HK Lemon tea was on the sweet side at regular level so next time I'd adjust to go lower in sweetness. The Vietnamese coffee latte is strong but balanced out by the milk if you don't want it to be too heavy. My favorite part of the meal was the sweet potato fries - cooked perfectly and they give a generous amount of sauce which I love!! The menu is pretty small so I'm hoping they plan to bring more drinks to the table when they are open longer! The place itself hasn't changed much from what I remember and is a bit dark inside but otherwise a good amount of tables!

Noticed this place today when we went to our favorite donut shop. Didn't realize they have been open since October. Located in the strip mall near Dutch Brothers. I tried a fried chicken wrap with buttermilk ranch. Was pretty good, has coleslaw, pickles & cheese. Chicken was crispy & tasty but a little too garlic for me. Restaurant is small but has plenty of seating. Could use some wall decorations. Service was good. Took the time to explain the menu etc. very friendly. Restroom inside. Hope they stay open. 01.28.2026 - MIDODO - ELK GROVE, CA - So my boyfriend says there's a Boba place nearby and I couldn't find it but later I found this place. I've decided to try it out. It's a nice cute place when you first walk in nice and clean beautiful minimal style tables café. Cute art wall pictures. The counter person was very helpful. I asked him what was the best sauce for the popcorn chicken and he suggested his favorite was the spicy which I assume is the Sriracha flavor. It only took about three minutes for my drink to be ready and my popcorn chicken was ready in 4 to 5 minutes as for the popcorn chicken it came out very hot so be careful. I can taste the ginger marinade in the chicken which was a plus cause I love flavor. There wasn't an overwhelming flavor of Five Spice. Which is fine as im getting to know their flavors in this establishment . The Hong Kong milk tea drink tasted like coffee with a lot of chocolate flavoring and they were not stingy with the Boba toppings pretty pretty generous with the toppings overall, I enjoyed my visit. I ate there for about three minutes, but I wanted to go home And relax.... it so it was delicious. I'm gonna go back and try their other drinks and maybe other food and you know what's interesting. They have SANDO Japanese sandwiches so I'll try that next time.

Tried out this place out and for the most part, you would have to be a chicken fan. I thought the fries were the best food item. Second would be the chicken Sando. It's good if you are a fan of dark meat but for some reason it was kinda mushy. The bread/bun was good. The popcorn chicken pieces were kinda too big and the chicken strips were small, so you almost can't tell the difference between the two. I really enjoyed the red guava and lemon tea drink, it was very refreshing. I don't think that's a common drink at other cafe's or boba spots. Overall I did think the food took longer than it needed to, but I can't really complain since it's chicken and that should be cooked thoroughly.

Popcorn chicken, chicken strips, white peach oolong tea, midodo sauce
    Melissa L.

Ordered through DoorDash. Seems they had just opened based on other reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. Things I ordered: - Popcorn chicken: 4.5/5 not the typical Taiwanese popcorn chicken but still good. Seemed to be more like chicken bites or chicken nuggets than popcorn chicken though because of the size. Chicken thigh was juicy, didn't have any of the unwanted excess chicken fat or gristle that I've had with some chicken. Batter was crispy and seasoned well. Only one bad thing was that parts of the batter were falling off when trying to grab the chicken or dipping the chicken in sauce, which made it slightly difficult to eat. - Chicken strips 3/5 Might be just personal taste but I much preferred the chicken thighs. Batter seasoning was the same, chicken was expectedly less juicy since it was white meat. These chicken strips were difficult to "pull apart" without the batter completely falling apart. - Midodo sauce (regular and spicy) 5/5 Kind of reminds me of raising canes sauce. I preferred the regular over the spicy. The spicy does have a nice kick to it though. Both sauces complimented the chicken really well. - White peach oolong tea 4/5 Ordered with less ice and 30% sweetness. It was ok, but with it being listed under "fruit tea" I was expecting some something with real fruit bits or syrup added in. Instead, it seemed more like a brewed oolong tea that just had a subtle peach fragrance rather than an actual fruit flavor. If this is only brewed, one suggestion for the future when/if the menu is expanded, is to list this under "fresh brewed tea".

Great place for a light snack. Went here and got the sweet potato fries and popcorn chicken with the ranch and Spicy Midodo Sauce. Would recommend to those who want to try out a local business here in EG! The only thing I would say is that the wait is a little bit long, but the wait is worth it as the fries and chicken were both very good.

Once, had their mango drink and it was very good, the chicken wrap and strips were also very seasoned and crunchy.

    Tender Sando

Best spicy chicken sandwich in Elk Grove. Very crispy and perfectly seasoned. Very welcoming setting and quick service. Will definitely be returning.

Staff is friendly here even while they are busy perfecting our drinks drinks aren't too sweet which i love! I've tried their strawberry matcha and its one of the best I've had. Not too sweet and not too bitter! I also tried their jazzy limeade! Its a unique and refreshing tea perfect for the summer. As for drinks, their new JPC (Jasmine Tea Pistachio Foam Coconut Water, organic) was incredibly smooth and refreshing. The jasmine tea flavor paired beautifully with the creamy pistachio foam, and the pink coconut water kept it light and hydrating. Overall, everything felt thoughtfully made and well-balanced--great flavors, not overly sweet, and really enjoyable. I'd definitely come back to try more.

This was my first time trying YiFang Taiwan and I was craving a refreshing mango pomelo sago drink after eating a savory meal but the mango pomelo sago was unfortunately sold out so I went with the mango sago and added jelly instead. They made my order wrong, but remade it for me and let me keep the first drink so I appreciated that very much. Their customer service is good and they were quick to resolve the issue. However, I did not really enjoy my drink. When they gave me the first drink with only jelly and no sago, my first impression was surprise at the large quantity of jelly topping in the drink. The toppings made up like 35-40% of the drink. I had the thought to ask them to use less toppings when remaking the drink but I assumed that if they were going to remake it and add two toppings, that it would be the same amount but divided into two. I regretted not asking though because in the corrected drink, they gave me so much topping that it made up half of the drink. They also did not drain the sago and it was not mixed in with the mango drink so it was very off putting and tasted strange compared to the first drink. Even when I tried mixing it all together, there was hardly any drink and all that was coming through the straw were the toppings. I gave up on the drink and ended up just drinking the first drink they made me. I think the topping portions is kind of crazy and I have never really experienced that before. I would much rather have more drink than toppings. I wish I knew about this beforehand or I wouldn't have added an extra topping. I would be open to trying this place again but only ordering their original drinks as is and/or requesting less toppings. I don't want to make quick judgements from this one drink because I have heard good things about YiFang drinks and they had great customer service. I am hopping that my next experience will be better!

Ive decided to write a review since my last review was back in 2010. I ordered a simple Milk Tea…read morewith Large Boba and Lychee Jelly. Also I bought popcorn chicken. I bought the popcorn chicken because if you spend less than ten dollars, you will have to pay a fee. So I ended up buying popcorn chicken to not pay that fee. Don't get me wrong the popcorn chicken tasted great. It was just too much for my plan of eating my meals for the day. I couldnt fit it really into my plan for the day. I ate a few bites and saved it for left overs for maybe closer to dinner. I kept telling myself that I shouldve just paid the fee instead of holding onto this for later. The Milk Tea with Large Boba - was extremely sweet. I regret to have informed the woman at the register to make it zero sweetner. The additional toppings like the lychee jelly and Boba already added to the sweetness. Next time Ill go back and now know ahead of time how to order my drinks. Im pretty sensitive to sugar. So ill keep that in mind the next time I go in here to order.

As of January of 2026, their price for a small milk tea is $4.75, and their boba add-on is 50 cents more. I upgraded my beverage to a Large, which was $1.50 more. It's a decent size, as their Large size is bigger than your typical boba tea places. I also got a Chocolate Milk Tea, which is an option that isn't available at too many chain locations. I also got their popcorn chicken. Unfortunately, it's not as good as other chain locations, when you compare to UME Tea or Purple Kow. Their popcorn chicken comes with no spice, mild, medium or hot. Even though I got mild, it was hotter than your typical mild flavored popcorn chicken at other boba tea restaurants. As for their interior, it's very spacious there with plenty of seating available, including a large sofa. They also have board & table games that you can play too. I really liked their Chocolate Milk Tea, and I can see myself ordering this again or trying out their other beverages. As for the popcorn chicken, I will pass on this next time, but would be interested in trying out their other food items on their menu.
