Making a consultation appointment here was super easy and I was able to come in within the week. Upon walking in, the staff was extremely friendly and greeted me with kindness. Checking in was very simple and the wait was not long. The facility overall is very clean and well kept with lots of great up to date technology. I had my consultation appointment with Jennifer and Dr. Farshidi, whom were both great. After Jennifer helped do my xrays, Dr. Farshidi said that one of my wisdom teeth was wrapped around a nerve, which made me anxious to hear at first, but he explained very clearly his strategy to keep my nerves safe and have a comfortable procedure, which put me to ease immediately. Jennifer and Dr. Farshidi also did a great job of informing me of how to prepare before my surgery and how to take care of myself after. Leaving me with all the tools needed to make this surgery as comfortable as possible. The day of the surgery I was able to check in quickly and they took me back to the surgery room. The nurses that were getting me ready were all very nice and made sure that I had an anxiety-free experience before the operation. The days following my surgery were honestly not bad at all. I had little to no pain and swelling the first few days. By day 4 post-op, the remaining pain and swelling had completely passed and I was pretty much back to normal. The post-op instructions given to me were very clear and concise which also really helped me have a smooth post-op recovery. I just came in today for my one week post-op check up with Nancy. Nancy said everything looked great and showed me how to go about irrigating my sockets. She was extremely friendly, patient, and very willing to answer all the questions I had. At one week post-op, I feel fabulous with absolutely zero pain, swelling, or other discomfort, and that's all thanks to the wonderful OC Max Surgery team! Thank you so much Dr. Farshidi, Jennifer, Nancy, and the rest of the staff here for all your kindness and support, you have all made this a very comfortable process for me and I'm so grateful. I'd definitely come here again if I ever have any future oral surgery needs and I will be recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you so much again!! :)

Everyone at OC Max went above and beyond to make her calm and comfortable. They didn't make her feel stupid or crazy when she asked about the details of anesthesia four times in a row. They were comforting and understanding. As for the surgery itself, everything was extremely smooth. We followed their post-op instructions and she didn't have any issues. I had a Delta Dental HMO plan but since it didn't cover anything, I was prepared to pay out of pocket for this. I was highly recommended to Dr. Owen by a fellow Yelper. I had already called 20 other places and checked on pricing and availability. Dr. Owen spoke to me on the phone and explained the entire procedure. He also gave me an estimate on pricing was also available to do the surgery in the time frame I needed so I decided to go to him. His office is clean and comfortable (not scary at all!) His staff were nicest people I have ever met! I went in for a consultation and they took my panoramic X-rays. All of their equipment was new and current with the technology. He gave me a really fair deal on my wisdom teeth, $1590, including local anesthesia and IV drip. Since my wisdom teeth were full bony impactions, it would be a difficult procedure. However, I was paying out of pocket for this so he was generous to let me pay $1590 instead of $1900. Dr. Owen and his staff carefully went over instructions on pre and post surgery care and gave me my prescription of Vicodin and antibiotics in advance to fill. He also gave me extra gauze for my mouth and gave me the option to keep my teeth! I decided to donate them to dental school instead. I returned for the surgery. He and his staff were very professional and treated me with the utmost care. After a long 3 hour surgery, they were able to take 4 wisdom teeth out of my tiny mouth! I was groggy after surgery and my boyfriend drove me home. The first 3 days, I iced with a bag of peas and then heated. I slept a lot, watched movies, drank a lot of protein shakes, smoothies, and kefir. I did not get a lot of swelling in my cheeks as I had thought. It was probably due to the post opt care instructions that I followed to a tee. It has been 9 days since my procedure and I have healed wonderfully! I returned for a follow-up appointment and Dr. Owen checked to see how everything was healing and gave me an irrigation tool. After 9 days, I can eat soft foods, bread, and my jaw is becoming less sore. I am very happy to have found a highly skilled oral surgeon since I have heard horror stories from my friends! Dr. Owen and his staff are the nicest people I have ever met. I was always terrified of going to the dentist but now I am happy to know that there are nice and gentle dentists out there! I highly recommend going to Dr. Owen and his staff!

I had previously gotten my first two wisdom teeth removed over thirty years ago, and the experience was so horrible that I had put off getting the last two out this long. Dr. Yoshikane answered all of my questions and explained the plan and extra plans in the event the first plans weren't working for me after the removal. After the procedure I was under constant watch and care by Dr. Yoshikane through phone messages with my husband. He contacted us for the first three days even going as far as to check on me at midnight the first day of the surgery. Seriously! My husband was impressed with the level of concern and questions that Dr. Yoshikane asked him, because it truly showed he cared about his patient's wellbeing, and wasn't just jumping through a hoop. I just left my after care appointment and everything is going great! My surgical areas are closed, the medications are all working in tandem without residual pain from the surgery. My swelling is minimal, and I get my stitches out in two weeks. I can't thank Dr. Yoshikane and his team of professionals enough for making an anxiety ridden experience into a positive one. I didn't need a diagnosis, since I told the dentist that my implant was loose. He decided to take a ct scan, charge me for it and charge me for his false "diagnosis." $290 later.. he told me I need a New crown and wanted me to pay $2900 to return for 2 more visits to "fix" it. I Declined his outrageous treatment plan, knowing my implant was just loose. I waited until Monday with no problems and went to my dentist Dr. John Vartanian (Newport Beach) who did the implant for me. He tightened the screw and I was out of there in 10 minutes for free. I believe SoCal Smiles owes me $290 back for their unnecessary scan and incorrect diagnosis. They were trying to sell me something I didn't need and I'm quite upset about how this was handled when I brought it to their attention. I would go elsewhere and not trust this place with your time or money.

I have not even begun orthodontic treatment for my son at Lollipop Dental, and I am already deeply dissatisfied with this practice. Our experience has been nothing short of disappointing. During our initial visit, things seemed to go smoothly. However, just days after the appointment, my son developed a severe case of strep throat, which quickly escalated into scarlet fever. This illness left him sick for nearly two months, with painful rashes and peeling skin. I am convinced he contracted this illness at Lollipop Dental, raising serious concerns about their hygiene practices. Do they properly sanitize their equipment and waiting areas? This experience alone made me hesitant to return, but my partner encouraged us to give them another chance for orthodontic treatment. Unfortunately, things only got worse. Over the holiday season, we scheduled a panoramic X-ray for my son. My partner rearranged her work schedule to accommodate the appointment, and while the initial visit went smoothly, we received a call shortly after leaving the office informing us that their X-ray machine had malfunctioned and we would need to return for a retake. While inconvenient, we complied. However, during our second visit, we were informed the machine was still not functioning properly, and another appointment would be necessary. This repeated disruption was both frustrating and unprofessional. Most recently, I arrived early for an appointment at their Placentia office due to heavy traffic near Cal State Fullerton. I informed the front desk staff about my early arrival and inquired whether it might be possible to be seen sooner. Instead of a courteous acknowledgment, I was simply asked to sit and wait. Nearly 45 minutes later, I was still waiting with no communication from the staff. This lack of basic customer service is unacceptable. Lollipop Dental has already charged us $400+ for the X-rays, but that will be the extent of what they receive from me. Their poor communication, repeated inconveniences, and lack of professionalism have cost them our business. To the management at Lollipop Dental: I suggest you evaluate your customer service practices and ensure your equipment and facilities are held to higher standards. As it stands, I cannot recommend this office to anyone seeking quality care. read more

it was our first time at lollipop dental and my son had a great experience. Our dental assistant Connie was so sweet and patient with him, and made him feel comfortable the entire time she cleaned his teeth which I appreciate as a parent. seeing your kid nervous is never easy, but the team here at Lollipop do their best to ease the kids anxiety during their visit. Dr Gabbie was also extremely patient with him and explained all the care he will need until he future. This was our first time at this location. Everything is really bright and clean what you would expect like at thier other locations. The staff was friendly and very professional. They let you know before hand what they will be doing and answer any questions you may have . As my boys get older and older we always have a fun time at the dentist. Who would of thought right? Most of us were terrified of the dentist trips as kids. This place really makes my boys (8 and 3) feel comfortable. The boys love all the treats and we love the ipad station to keep the one not getting worked on occupied. I've been bringing my kids at Lollipop Dental for years I use to go to the Yorba Linda and Costa Mesa location but then the location at Tustin opened and since it's closer to me I came. I've always had a great experience and my kids love this place so kid friendly with iPads and toys after their visit. All the Drs are super kind and welcoming the staff as well. Very great with kids! this place very nice. i got my wisdom teeth out and they were really nice and it was a friendly environment. the whole atmosphere makes me feel safe and not scared even if my teeth are going to be pulled out. the workers there are really nice too and professional. an outstanding worker was the dental assistant juliana. she was very kind and i trusted her with my life. anyways they all treated me with care and rolled me out on a wheelchair carefully. i highly recommend recommend this place i will take my future kids here read more

Vanessa was very professional and pleasant we showed up early to his appointment but she accommodated us. Reyna worked really well with my son he was laughing with her and had a wonderful experience. We have been coming here for 3 years now and we absolutely love it. Dr. Gabby is amazing and makes all of her patients feel comfortable. (I should include even though my son has needed a crown as well as a couple of cavities filled, he still loves coming here because they make the experience so great for him every time.) read more

It was our first time at this testing location and I have to say the staff was very friendly! I was greeted by Vanessa at the front desk, and she had a nice, beautiful smile and willingness to help and answer any questions. The dentist assistant that help my daughter was named Selena and she has to be one of the nicest dentist assistant that has help my daughter in lollipop dental locations. I am absolutely obsessed with this dental office in Tustin. walking into the office we were immediately greeted and I was so happy with how clean the office was. I've been bringing my kids to Lollipop Dental since they were babies and I've always had a great experience. Specially now that we started coming to the Tustin location, my son had dental surgery and Dr Marques was amazing! He came out during the procedure to give updates and made me feel very comfortable about the whole process. Dr. Yoong is truly incredible. He has such a calm, kind, and patient approach that makes kids (and now teens!) feel completely at ease.
