After moving, we had to find a new dental office for my daughter and we heard raving reviews here. The office staff has always been efficient and friendly during our appointments. After checking in, we never had to wait long before we are called in. The office itself is very clean and kid friendly. I was honestly amazed at the office size. My daughter has had a few cleanings as well as one cavity fill here. Her cavity fill was fast and thorough and the one who did it was very informative and worked with her to make sure she was comfortable the entire time. Afterwards, they always let her have a lollipop (very on brand of course) and a balloon of her choice. Other than that, we've always had a positive experience here. Considering most kids are afraid if the dentist, they ensure to educate and make the experience comfortable for both parents and kids. I'd highly recommend the office! read more

ZERO stars. Absolutely unorganized and disrespectful of everyone's time. December 2025 My son needed all 4 wisdom teeth removed due to growing sideways. Totally valid, and agreed to schedule after school was out. We schedule for 6/22. So far so good. 6/11, the office calls and says your insurance is invalid. Impossible, so I confirm the insurance. They don't have the updated one. Then I was told we need to reschedule due to not enough time to get insurance approval etc. Not my finest moment, I made a lot of arrangements to take that day off, have an additional day off, and get babysitting arrangements in order. I absolutely used my stern voice and said we have 11 days before the surgery, figure it out. Fast forward to 6/22, today. We get a call at 9 am the surgery got pushed back to 11 am. No worries, we can adjust our time. Ok we come in at 1100, sign papers and waiting for our turn. It's been 1 hour and 10 minutes since the time we needed to be here and the surgery start time. NOT 1 PERSON HAS APPROACHED ME TO PROVIDE AND UPDATE ON THE DEALY. I asked about an update 20 minutes ago. They've spoken to every single person here besides me. I am Muslim, and the only Muslim here. Did my mind automatically go there, absolutely! Why? Because no one is coming to talk to us. NO ONE. After today, we are never coming to any of the locations. Absolutely unacceptable and inappropriate. To my Muslim community, please be aware. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. It is very disorganized. The doctors are okay, but it feels like the main priority is money rather than patient care. I also tried to obtain my daughter's medical records, including X-rays, and was told I would be charged for them--even though I already paid for the appointments and the X-rays themselves. I was essentially asked to pay extra for my own child's records, which I have a legal right to access. When I became upset, they said they would provide the records "as a courtesy," which is unacceptable since this is not a courtesy--it is my right. After that, they made the process even more difficult by blocking the system and preventing me from accessing the records when I needed them. This experience was extremely frustrating. Make sure you call your insurance to check if they billed and charged you correctly. My insurance said they over charged me. I had to wait for my EOB to process to call them back to report. I normally take my son to lollipop dental in placentia and he has had nothing but great experiences there! He is used to them giving him choice of flavor for the cleaning, explaining the process, being patient especially with his sensory sensitivities. We decided to try out the Tustin location today as it is closer to home. The entire process was incredibly rushed. They didn't address my son directly and when he cried in the treatment room, immediately resorted to holding him and rushing through the cleaning. They did not attempt X rays and said "he won't do it anyway" mind you he was only crying, not hitting or having extreme behavior. He didn't get to choose a flavor, they chose bubble gum, which he hates, and when he tasted it and cried they said "shh! Shh! It's good it tastes like bubble gum" for being a dental office that is directed towards treating children, they truly treated him like he didn't have any voice and they just wanted to get the job done. Total time spent on him and my other son combined was at most 5 min. Because insurance only covers one cleaning every 6 months, I called to see how much a cleaning would be out of pocket at a different location because I didn't feel his was done appropriately and they said $230 per child. So whatever was billed to insurance was a ridiculous amount of money for less than 5 minutes of the doctor's time. Overall, terrible experience and would not return to this location. read more

Lollipop dental is amazing and my daughter was at ease. My daughter is 3 and gets overwhelmed as well as anxious at times but she was so calm thanks to the amazing hygienist that took care of her before seeing the dentist. I should have asked for the dental hygienist name because she was the sweetest and most kind to my daughter who likes to ask questions as she is very observant and likes to see how everything works and gets done. The dentist was only with us for less than 5 minutes and she was very nice as well but I must give full credit where it's due and that to the hygienist who we spent most of the time with. They also are great at answering questions that might seem simple but as a first time parent I like to ask for my own awareness. The front desk is also very friendly and great with kids which is awesome to have everyone be so nice and attentive to each child. I think the decor helps kids feel like this place is for them and calms them down. I strongly recommend bringing children here to get them accustomed to the dental experience until they're old enough to not see it as a "scary" experience. I've been bringing my kids to Lollipop Dental for over 10 years. Our main location is Yorba Linda, but now that my oldest is in high school in Tustin, this location has been convenient. Both locations have always been clean, inviting, and considerate of your appointment time. My son (3) has had major medical and dental trauma and this is the first place (out of 4) that he actually sat and let them look inside his mouth. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and made his time there very good. I actually did not expect them to be able to do a full exam, or even partial, but they somehow worked their magic and he let them do pretty much everything except a few X-rays. 10/10 recommend.
