Absolutely delicious! The food tasted incredibly fresh and authentic, and every dish was packed with flavor. As someone with Peruvian roots, it's always exciting to find a restaurant that truly captures the taste of home. The service was warm and welcoming, and I can't wait to come back to try even more from the menu. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Peruvian food in San Francisco!

The food and service here were great. Apparently the owner of Fresca owns this place. Our server Giovanni was awesome. He was so personable and very accommodating. The manager was also very nice. We were there for Happy hour (4-6pm Wed-Sun) so we ordered directly from the happy hour menu. We ordered the garlic fries, cantina burger, ceviche Clasico, mussels, chicharron de pollo, and margaritas. (We actually ordered almost double of everything cuz it was so good. LOL.) Everything was delicious. My favorites were the chicharron de pollo, garlic fries, and ceviche. Chicharron de pollo were lightly battered chicken thighs but still crunchy and so flavorful. It reminded me of bigger pieces of the Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Can't go wrong with these garlic fries. And the I appreciated the large chunks of ceviche. It tasted very fresh. Loved my margaritas. We all wanted different levels of sweetness and Giovanni did an excellent job communicating to the bartender who happened to be the manager what we each wanted. Side note- Although we ordered the cantina burger medium rare, it was a little too rare for me. Many times when you order medium it comes out on the dryer side so we requested medium rare. My friends were fine with it but for me, I'll order medium next time. Great spot definitely will return!

I have been meaning to stop by here ever since they opened up. Well I finally got the chance. A bright restaurant with bar area in front and dining seating in back serving Peruvian food like lomo saltado and fresh seafood like ceviches. Wonderful, helpful staff and friendly service from all. This place was amazing. I was so happy to try out Lomo Libre. We started with the Cesar salad with shrimp. Great flavor, very fresh, avocado, and shrimp added for some nice crunch and seafood. Next the Oysters with the leche de Tigre and ceviche clasico. Both were briny, salty, citrusy, and plump. Next came the Lomo saltado and tallarin saltado. The sauce was just enough for both and not overpoweringly salty, sweet, or anything. Lastly was the chaufa. Not my favorite, a little over seasoned to my liking, but great still. My favorite from the night was the ceviche clasico and Lomo saltado. Everything from the night was amazing though and I will definitely be back for more!

They have a great happy hour here! Wednesday-Thursday from 4-6 and Fri-Sun from 3-6!! My husband adores this place and comes here once a week. He loves the Lomo Saltado, oysters and ceviche. This is a great spot to order some tapas to share. They have big flavors and a welcoming, homey atmosphere. The bar is huge and I see lots of people come in solo and sit at the bar and watch sports on their big screens. This place can get busy but they're worth the wait. Their ceviches are all on point. Try the sampler trio and decide which is your favorite! Empanadas are yummy and there is a vegetarian option. Burritos will fill you up! The burger is pretty good but I'd recommend trying their Peruvian fare. Next time I go, I want to try their Pulpo! So glad to have this in my neighborhood but I think it's a destination that any foodie would be excited to try!

Amazing drinks and food. We got non-alc options and really enjoyed the sin-chelada, personally loved the spice. The two crevices to share are very yummy and acidic, I wish we had more ways to scoop the ceviche so no leche de Tigre goes to waste- personally, I can scoop it up like soup! But definitely get some plantain chips. Fried fish sauce and rice was amazing. Very nice location with art and great screens for sports watching (or New Year's Eve ball drop!) and attentive service.

Nicely decored little spot with a nice sized bar! The menu options were solid, but the execution was outstanding! EVERYTHING brought to us tasted excellent! The branzino was out of this world!!! My wife is a lomo saltado snob and LOVED it! My son got the aji de gallina and it was exquisite! Can't wait to try the other items on the menu! The service was excellent! Everyone was friendly and accommodating! They came to check on us regularly! The experience was great all the way around!

The ambiance was nice. The servers were friendly. My friend and I both got the pork sandwich special with a salad. My friend personally really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it as well, but I like stronger flavor profiles. The pork was definitely moist and tender. The food was hot to order. The bread was nice and fluffy. The sandwich was huge. For her, this was a 4/5. For me, it was a 3.5/5. I think a lot of it is preference as well. I would come back to try a different dish with a busting flavor profiles. I like stronger spicy flavors and this sandwich was more on the mild side which my friend really enjoys.

Great Peruvian food with a great happy hour! We shared several items that were on the happy hour menu. The chicharrones were the star of the show but everything was delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very attentive. There is ample seating at the bar, high tops near the bar, and traditional tables in the back. There are also TVs to catch a game.

It's a beautiful restaurant on the corner of Irving and 19th. Plenty of street parking. We got seated right away as staff were really attentive and friendly. Drinks and food were amazing and delicious. We enjoyed the different house sauce options as we love anything that brings the heat! Let's get into what we ordered: - Michelada - Juicy Hazy - Half a dozen oysters - Jalea - Ceviche Trio Flight - Lomo Saltado Everything was so flavorful! Omg Bon Appetite!

It's Friday Date Night and we're at it again... family style eating. Yay! We love happy hour and Lomo Libre Cantina definitely has a great selection. This is what we ordered tonight - cocktails, a bottle of wine to go with our dozen oyster on the half shell, 2 cantina burgers, garlic fries, platanos maduros, salchipapas (hot dogs on top of fries!), CONCHITAS (scallops to drool over), Caesar salad, mango cheesecake and flan. Burrrrrrrp! The vibe is positive, we watched the 6th World Series game, attentive and cheerful service and great food. What more can one ask for? Lomo Libre Cantina has the right formula for a great evening out. Thank you!

I have a new "go-to" spot for great Peruvian food in SF. I was craving for some ceviche and my friend saw that this place opened up a few months ago. We decided to come here on a Saturday night and shared the el toro salad with lomo strips, ceviche quatro (classic, verde, puerto and Nikkei), pulpo, oysters and fideos achupados. All of the ceviches were great. My favorite was the puerto. I think it would have been best to start with the Classico since it had the mildest flavor. The verde had a kick to it while the ahi in the Nikkei was just perfect. The salad was a lot bigger than what I expected and was really tasty with the lomo strips. The pulpo had the right amount of tenderness and the fideos was a great main with plenty of seafood. We were both impressed by the food quality and quantity. Needless to say, we had plenty of leftovers to take home. Service was good. The restaurant can get noisy especially when seated in the back near the kitchen. With tax and tip, this was around $90 per person, which is great value for the food. I'll definitely be back. Highly, highly recommended!!!

What a cute spot! They started as a food truck and now have this location and their sister restaurant puerto 27 in Pacifica. We walked in at 5pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately. As a person who is half Peruvian, this is some of the best chicha morada I've ever had! We also ordered the happy hour burger with yuca fries and salchipapas. Everything was very fresh and delicious, with plenty of yummy sauces served with everything. The burger had a plantain in it which gave it some sweetness. The Salchipapas were fries served with sliced hot dog on top with yummy sauces on the side. Parking is street parking, overall would come back!

Vibey spot with affordable drinks and bar bites during 3-6pm happy hour, which features $9 cocktails, $6 draft beer, and sub-$15 bar bites! recs: ceviche (we were super impressed) price: ~$20/person - Ceviche: features large cuts of white fish with delicious andean corn and sweet potato. Lots of interesting textures and flavors! - Platanos Maduros: Kind of a small portion for the price but the aji verde was delicious. The sweetness pairs really well with any savory dishes you might get. You might also consider getting the side option on the regular menu, which is $4 cheaper than HH (but may be a smaller portion?) Service was super efficient and very personable and friendly. It was easy to walk in before 6 on a Friday and nab a seat!
