Lomorrito with carne asada. Background fries and fried plantain chips.

They have a great happy hour here! Wednesday-Thursday from 4-6 and Fri-Sun from 3-6!! My husband adores this place and comes here once a week. He loves the Lomo Saltado, oysters and ceviche. This is a great spot to order some tapas to share. They have big flavors and a welcoming, homey atmosphere. The bar is huge and I see lots of people come in solo and sit at the bar and watch sports on their big screens. This place can get busy but they're worth the wait. Their ceviches are all on point. Try the sampler trio and decide which is your favorite! Empanadas are yummy and there is a vegetarian option. Burritos will fill you up! The burger is pretty good but I'd recommend trying their Peruvian fare. Next time I go, I want to try their Pulpo! So glad to have this in my neighborhood but I think it's a destination that any foodie would be excited to try!

Amazing drinks and food. We got non-alc options and really enjoyed the sin-chelada, personally loved the spice. The two crevices to share are very yummy and acidic, I wish we had more ways to scoop the ceviche so no leche de Tigre goes to waste- personally, I can scoop it up like soup! But definitely get some plantain chips. Fried fish sauce and rice was amazing. Very nice location with art and great screens for sports watching (or New Year's Eve ball drop!) and attentive service.

Nicely decored little spot with a nice sized bar! The menu options were solid, but the execution was outstanding! EVERYTHING brought to us tasted excellent! The branzino was out of this world!!! My wife is a lomo saltado snob and LOVED it! My son got the aji de gallina and it was exquisite! Can't wait to try the other items on the menu! The service was excellent! Everyone was friendly and accommodating! They came to check on us regularly! The experience was great all the way around!

The ambiance was nice. The servers were friendly. My friend and I both got the pork sandwich special with a salad. My friend personally really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it as well, but I like stronger flavor profiles. The pork was definitely moist and tender. The food was hot to order. The bread was nice and fluffy. The sandwich was huge. For her, this was a 4/5. For me, it was a 3.5/5. I think a lot of it is preference as well. I would come back to try a different dish with a busting flavor profiles. I like stronger spicy flavors and this sandwich was more on the mild side which my friend really enjoys.

Great Peruvian food with a great happy hour! We shared several items that were on the happy hour menu. The chicharrones were the star of the show but everything was delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very attentive. There is ample seating at the bar, high tops near the bar, and traditional tables in the back. There are also TVs to catch a game.

It's a beautiful restaurant on the corner of Irving and 19th. Plenty of street parking. We got seated right away as staff were really attentive and friendly. Drinks and food were amazing and delicious. We enjoyed the different house sauce options as we love anything that brings the heat! Let's get into what we ordered: - Michelada - Juicy Hazy - Half a dozen oysters - Jalea - Ceviche Trio Flight - Lomo Saltado Everything was so flavorful! Omg Bon Appetite!

It's Friday Date Night and we're at it again... family style eating. Yay! We love happy hour and Lomo Libre Cantina definitely has a great selection. This is what we ordered tonight - cocktails, a bottle of wine to go with our dozen oyster on the half shell, 2 cantina burgers, garlic fries, platanos maduros, salchipapas (hot dogs on top of fries!), CONCHITAS (scallops to drool over), Caesar salad, mango cheesecake and flan. Burrrrrrrp! The vibe is positive, we watched the 6th World Series game, attentive and cheerful service and great food. What more can one ask for? Lomo Libre Cantina has the right formula for a great evening out. Thank you!

I have a new "go-to" spot for great Peruvian food in SF. I was craving for some ceviche and my friend saw that this place opened up a few months ago. We decided to come here on a Saturday night and shared the el toro salad with lomo strips, ceviche quatro (classic, verde, puerto and Nikkei), pulpo, oysters and fideos achupados. All of the ceviches were great. My favorite was the puerto. I think it would have been best to start with the Classico since it had the mildest flavor. The verde had a kick to it while the ahi in the Nikkei was just perfect. The salad was a lot bigger than what I expected and was really tasty with the lomo strips. The pulpo had the right amount of tenderness and the fideos was a great main with plenty of seafood. We were both impressed by the food quality and quantity. Needless to say, we had plenty of leftovers to take home. Service was good. The restaurant can get noisy especially when seated in the back near the kitchen. With tax and tip, this was around $90 per person, which is great value for the food. I'll definitely be back. Highly, highly recommended!!!

Walked in hungry, walked out in love--with the Lomo Saltado. Whoever decided to put steak, fries, rice, and veggies in a deserves a medal. It's messy, it's bold, and it's everything I didn't know I needed. Only criticism is that the sauce to fries/rice ratio is off for my taste buds, needs more rice. :) Honorable mentioned: -Ceviche -Oysters -Pulpo Anticuchero The staff? Super chill and friendly. If you're in SF and don't try the Lomo Saltado, you're doing life wrong. Five stars.

What a cute spot! They started as a food truck and now have this location and their sister restaurant puerto 27 in Pacifica. We walked in at 5pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately. As a person who is half Peruvian, this is some of the best chicha morada I've ever had! We also ordered the happy hour burger with yuca fries and salchipapas. Everything was very fresh and delicious, with plenty of yummy sauces served with everything. The burger had a plantain in it which gave it some sweetness. The Salchipapas were fries served with sliced hot dog on top with yummy sauces on the side. Parking is street parking, overall would come back!

Vibey spot with affordable drinks and bar bites during 3-6pm happy hour, which features $9 cocktails, $6 draft beer, and sub-$15 bar bites! recs: ceviche (we were super impressed) price: ~$20/person - Ceviche: features large cuts of white fish with delicious andean corn and sweet potato. Lots of interesting textures and flavors! - Platanos Maduros: Kind of a small portion for the price but the aji verde was delicious. The sweetness pairs really well with any savory dishes you might get. You might also consider getting the side option on the regular menu, which is $4 cheaper than HH (but may be a smaller portion?) Service was super efficient and very personable and friendly. It was easy to walk in before 6 on a Friday and nab a seat!

Best place to get delicious Peruvian food! The interior has a fun, hip sports bar vibe and the the staff is awesome! My cousin comes here a lot and I can see why. It's kind of an upscale place with quality Peruvian food like pulpo, choritos and plantanos done very well. We came at happy hour on a Friday (3p to 6pm) and sampled the menu. Got the oysters on the half shell ($1.75 each) , ceviche clasico ($15), platanos maduros ($13) and the cantina burger ($15). We also order the pulpo anticuchero ($20. The ceviche was so good! Large pieces of fish, marinated in a tangy sauce, with roasted pine nuts and Inca corn. The pulpo was also good- tender. We were impressed with the presentation too! The platanos were just sweet enough to balance it being fried. The burger was pretty thick, done to your liking and came with fries. And I loved my chicha morada drink!! If you want a fun place with good Peruvian food, this is the place to come. Don't forget to make reservations!!

Another review was way overdue! I've probably eaten here around 10 times by now, and it never disappoints. Every time I come in, the vibe is super chill and the service is always on point. The food? Consistently flavorful and absolutely delicious. Yummmm. My go-to starters are always a ceviche and empanadas. I honestly can't walk into this place without getting both -- they're a must. I have tried most of the ceviches on their menu, this time around we got the ceviche Carretillero and it was perfection. I can honestly drink the Aji Amarillo leche de Tigre. This time, for our main dish, we had the Pescado a lo Macho and wow. That sauce is next-level -- like, so good we asked for extra on the side just so we could drench our rice in it. No shame. The portions were perfect for sharing, and my friend and I left completely satisfied. Already counting down the days until I come back.

For those of us who only eat outdoors, there are a few tables outside the bar that are pretty comfortable although it can get windy. From the minute we arrived, we were greeted with friendliness, all of the menus we might need, and an explanation of drinks, beer and wine. We chose to go all out and got a small pizza, their delicious onion dip, meatballs - more on that later - and buffalo wings. I was a bit disappointed that the happy hour wine was a Chardonnay and not the Ferentino that they let me taste, but the replacement house May logger was delicious. My husband had a steam beer, which was also very good. Throughout the service was impeccable, and we actually met the manager, Jon, who had a long conversation with us about the history of the bar and how they were trying to be a neighborhood comfortable place which they certainly have succeeded at. Now for the food - the meatballs were the best I have ever had in San Francisco and I am Italian from New York so that's saying something. We actually let Jon know who told the chef and it turns out the chef is from New Jersey so that makes a lot of sense. The onion dip is something like I've never had before. It's a crème fraîche with scallions I think? And maybe a bit of garlic and housemaid chips. We ate every single bite and actually dipped our pizza crust in the rest of the dip. The margarita pizza was also very good and as I finished it off for lunch today, I can tell you it's just as good the next day. The buffalo wings were what I would call actual buffalo style - I could taste the butter, hot sauce and garlic powder like back in the day on the East Coast. The chicken itself was good, not fatty, and the sauce was just like I want it. They offered ranch and blue cheese dip, which was great. We then had further conversations with almost all the staff who were so welcoming and friendly. We don't live super nearby, but I know we're going to go back to dinner, because I am dying to get their pork chop that looked really good. They also came and helped us put the stuff in boxes and explained the best way to take pizza home, which I never knew before. I can't wait to go back again

They have happy hour on M-F from 3:30-5:30pm that we just missed but would like to try some other time. We ordered a bunch of items to share: - persian cucumbers - super crunchy, the flavor was good but felt like it could've been soaked longer so the flavor seeps more into the cucmber - roasted cauliflower - the sauce was delicious, the flavor was very unique, slightly on the sweeter side - sausage pizza (added mushrooms) - the mushrooms were a game changer, made the pizza taste even better - orchhiette pasta - favorite dish of the night, the pasta was al dente and the sauce they used was so flavorful with every bite, and the sausage in this was so good - not too salty or anything Service was also fantastic, they kept coming over and asking us if we're doing okay throughout our whole dinner. The vibes are nice too, they have a bar area and TV screens playing sports games.

Once the back patio cleared out we moved our party outside because I will be taking up space for an event I booked, Especially when the bar is aware that there are more attendees arriving, The space was still open for the general public to come chill and several of the general guests did, they kicked it with us ate, drank and celebrated with us and left. After which a group of males entered and they weren't an issue until one of them grabbed the pizza I bought without asking. After his third slice I asked him why he felt entitled to take someone else's food without even requesting, which aggravated his entire group. this escalated matters, as my friends are not going to watch me get yelled at. When the bar staff was alerted they tried their absolute worst to de-escalate the situation. They suggested giving me $20 for the pizza they stole, but they failed to see the point. The reason I am putting my review back up again is because my friends have videos of one of the bar staff wearing a beanie at the time standing next to the man who was yelling "IM PROUD TO BE WHITE" with his finger pointing very aggressively at me. In my last review I stated that all of my friends were POC and the opposite party was white, to which Sawyer then asked me to take down the review because it was not a "fair representation of what took place", However I documented what took place and how we were treated and thats what my review stated I do appreciate Sawyer for refunding me, but I will not be silenced with how myself and my friends were treated regardless of the refund I received, Temple allows Racism in my beautiful neighborhood and I will not stand for it. I can also add proof if and when Temple bar would like to respond. Shoutout to SFPD for actually de-escalating the situation. Best, SB
