Yeah, It's some really good pizza. I'll touch on that in a second. Clean place!! Great service!! Really good atmosphere!! 12" pizza, pepperoni, Sausage and Banana Peppers was my order. Couple drafts beers. frosted pint glasses! Sauce people, great taste, not too spicy or sweet. Just right! Crust snobs, in between doughy and cracker. Soft on top, a little crunch on bottom. Not thick. Cooked very well. Cheesers!! I really liked the taste. That bite with all cheese is satisfying. I would order a cheese only and be good with it. Pepperonis that curl up when cooked and crisp a little around the top ring. That's how it should be!! Nice sized nugget sausage that added a little spice to each bite. Banana peppers with some snap when you bite them. Not all thin and dehydrated from cooking. Saw a few subs other diners were eating after I'd ordered. The food itself I would give 4 stars, the pizza was good. The vibe inside with the decor and hometown pride was really cool. But the experience as a whole left things to be desired. We ordered for dine in, we were told to get our own cups from this little bar area. However every cup had a nasty smell like it was stacked while wet and had black dots on and specks of things (mold maybe?) I asked the girl working the counter and she gave me some styrofoam after I told her the cups were dirty. No problem. Our pizza came out with the wrong toppings at first which was fine- We waited and they corrected it. What I couldn't get over though was the absolutely filthy plates. The plates again on this bar thing were self serve and I don't think had been cleaned at all and if they were the dishwasher needs to be retrained on sanitary rules and food safety. The stacks had old food stuck to the bottom of nearly every plate. I know this because I sifted through to try to find ones that would work for my little family. I couldn't find any that I felt comfortable eating off of, and I got the impression they weren't really washed. I began to feel annoying to our waitress "Addison" because I again brought up something.. and now the plates were gross. Addison - who in general was very kind and doing the best she could. She explained to us they are short staffed and that the boys in the back weren't doing a good job washing. She personally took 4 plates for us and washed them- which I really appreciated. The table behind us though - not even five minutes later I watched her serve with the dirty cups and plates. That grossed me out so much especially after I had just told her about the cleanliness. It took all I could do to not say something to the table - but my husband said not to cause a stir.. I'm telling you - I'm a person who isn't afraid of a little dirt. This was UN CLEAN. I'm rating it 2, not to be a jerk- because the food was pretty good - but because the cleanliness needs be addressed. read more

While I wasn't a fan of the pizza, not that's it bad, it's just ok. And for the cost, nah not paying that much for it. The competitor in the area has a better pie but also overprice for the effort. But when you only have two, it is what it is. HOWEVER, the subs at Long Branch remind me of my childhood pizzeria! They are really good!! First time that we have eaten here since new owners took over. The recipe has changed and not good compared to what it used to be. Had both a pizza, salad and an Italian sub. Both pizza and sub were sub par. Could barely find the sausage as it was very skimpy, as were the rest of the toppings. The crust has way too much sugar in it and leans toward chewy instead of crispy. The fillings on sub were also very small. More bread than anything. The salad was very good however. We like this place for subs. Haven't had their pizza yet. Prices are ok. If they raise them we'll go elsewhere because the subs aren't that big. Their subs do taste good. There always ready when we get there and their hot. It's also convenient for people in Centerburg,Johnstown, and Mt Vernon. read more

This is the absolute worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. I had a server by the name of Leshawna and she was absolutely horrible. Completely rude and refused to give me my hot cakes while they were warm, she stated that they had to be cold. Who wants to eat a cold hot cake? Not me for sure. Wow, I was really surprised at how good this place is. Apparently there is a vicious rivalry between the two local pizza places in town - Pizzaburg being the other one. In fact, I was told this one was going to be mediocre by comparison. I've had just cheese pizza from here because that's what I prefer. The service both on the phone when I ordered and in person when I picked it up was friendly and welcoming. The price is reasonable and it feels good to support a local place. I was a bit worried that the crust would be too thin, or there would be too little sauce or cheese. So I have to admit, I ordered extra sauce and extra cheese both times I've ordered from here just to be safe. And that order made my pizza just right! I say, if you're going to Centerburg or just passing through, give this place a shot! read more

It was good. Ordered a 3 topping medium pizza which was perfect size for 2 hungry people, had a couple of pieces left over. We were taking a motorcycle ride, so we also got an italian sub to share later down the road. The sub was actually really good cold, so I could just imagine how it could've been hot. We seem to always ride pass this place when we ride East, so we may need to stop again for a hot sub. Keep in mind, looks like this place may be family owned, & they only had 2 people working during lunch time on a Saturday, but everything was still pretty prompt & they were still really friendly & helpful. read more

Had Long Branch Pizza last weekend and it was really good. Been a while since I have been there prior to that. The time I did go prior to that was about a year earlier and the pizza was kind of bland, mainly because that time it seemed like they were just spooning tomato sauce from the can onto the pizza and not adding any spices to the sauce. Last weekend (last Friday afternoon 1/12/2018 around noon to be exact) it was definitely different - the sauce tasted like it was spiced and like pizza sauce, it was cooked just right and really good. We are from the Atlanta area visiting family in Centerburg this weekend. Although my wife and I had already eaten, they either got pizza from them via take out or delivery before we arrived. I confess, one of my greatest weaknesses is good pizza. The pizza was pepperoni and sausage. I typically do not like sausage on my pizza. However it looked really good so I tried a piece prior to picking it off. OMG, I loved the sausage and was rudely picking sausage off other pieces in the box and eating pizza even though I ate not long ago. I'm glad this pizza is not available close to where I live. I don't eat the ends of the crust much but this pizza I did. The sauce was tangy, flavorful, and robust. The toppings where very desirable and adequate. If they didn't order extra cheese, this had more than what I see on my other pizza places which of course I liked very much too. Yep, I really really enjoyed this pie and have no problem highly recommending. Lastly, I will eat here again. read more
