    The restaurant
    Ward D.

A great place for a casual lunch along A1A We decided to stop at Long Doggers on South A1A for lunch and had a very nice experience. The restaurant is a colorful, casual place with a lot of surfing and local items decorating the walls that fit the beach atmosphere of the area very well (it is located across the street from the beach). There are inside and outside tables available, and although the restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived for lunch, the staff was still able to find us a table without much of a wait. We decided to sit outside. It was a sunny day, but the seating area was comfortable and surprisingly did not feel hot. The restaurant is a stand-alone building located on the corner of a larger strip center parking lot, so there was plenty of parking available during our visit. They also have a drive-through if you want to pick something up rather than eat at the restaurant. Long Doggers has a good-sized regular menu, but we decided to try their $10 lunch menu. We both ordered the smashburgers with French fries/kettle chips. Our meals came out quickly, and both the burgers and extras were excellent. For $10, I thought it was a great lunch and very reasonable considering the quality and amount of food we received. The staff was very very nice throughout our visit, and our waitress was excellent and took very good care of us. Overall, between the casual beach atmosphere, outdoor seating, good food, friendly service, plenty of parking, and a very reasonable lunch special, we really enjoyed our visit. If you are traveling along South A1A and looking for a good casual lunch, I would definitely recommend giving Long Doggers a try. Enjoy!

    $10 one patty special.

Stopped in for the $10 lunch special, and for the price, it was solid. I ordered the single patty burger with Swiss cheese, which came with potato chips and a beverage. The burger itself was decent, but the patty-to-bun ratio was off. The bun was good quality, just way too big for the patty. I'd honestly rather see a smaller bun so the burger doesn't feel like it's hiding. On the plus side, the toppings were on point--just the right amount of lettuce, onions, and sliced tomato, which helped pull it together. My wife ordered the Swap Chicken Goofy Foot, which is their plant-based chicken substitute wrap. Her take? It was okay. Not bad, but not impressive either. It tasted exactly like what you'd expect from a meat-free chicken swap in a casual beachside spot--edible, simple, and forgettable. Too much other stuff in the wrap. It didn't wow her, but it also didn't offend. Would she order it again, probably not. That pretty much sums up the experience. No frills, simple, decent food, decent ambiance, and great service. The wait was minimal and the meals arrived quickly. Excellent service! This isn't the place you go for culinary surprises--it's the place you go when you want something easy, reasonably priced, and reliable near the beach. I would give this place a try, just keep expectations in check.

    Gluten Friendly Menu

We were on the way to the dog beach and stopped for a quick fuel up at Long Doggers. First time to the Indialantic location. Our server, Leigha was super sweet. She accommodated to my allergies and was quick with our order. We sat in the area out front that allows dogs. We ordered from the gluten free menu. Hot dogs are awesome, and it was hard to choose from the bowls because they all sounded so good. Leigha suggested the local favorite Tico Pico Bowl.. I will definitely be ordering that again! Great service. Cool atmosphere and great food for a great price. Will be back again!

Everything we tried was delicious. The dogs, burger, wings were fantastic and the pretzel bites are a must !! Our server was fantastic and super helpful navigating the menu and making suggestions. The place has a super chill surfer beach vibe as you're would expect.

    Disgusting chicken sandwich

Served my son raw chicken last! Gave them another chance, look at my black tomatoe and soggy wet disgusting bun! Place is gross,

We got takeout on our last day of vacation from Long Doggers. It was so good and a unique experience! All of our hot dogs were very good. The street corn was really good on my hot dog. The onion rings were really good, and so was their ranch. It was right around 7, and it was pretty busy in person, so ordering takeout wasn't such a bad idea. It was easy to go through the drive thru and just pick up our order, as well. The workers were very nice. Definitely would go back!

Had the fried grouper and clam strips combo. Easy fries sub for coleslaw. Also $3 Happy Hour Draft Beer.

We are here visiting family. The online menu offers so so many gluten friendly items! However, the Uber Eats menu did not incude the GF Ahi tuna bowl we were hoping for. Gave the restaurant a quick call. Suzanne, girl! You made our night!! Suzanne talked to the kitchen and made sure we received safe food and noted it on our bag! You have no idea what that means to us!! We will ALWAYS be enjoying Long Doggers when we are in town!! Those Ahi tuna bowls are AMAZING! The pineapple pulled pork sandwich was also outstanding!

    Onion Rings too much batter.

Typically a huge fan of Indialantic location of Long Doggers. 1. Thought they only gave me 1/2 of my wings. In further investigation they were underneath. So small they all fit in one container. 2. Onion Rings were terrible as they had way too much batter on them. Would have sent them back if I ordered them in store. Definitely think twice before ordering again.

Awesome atmosphere and super friendly service. Amber was our main waitress. Fantastic food. Got the Rock Ferry Sauvignon blanc $9 and husband got American Icon blonde ale $6.50. I ate the ahi tuna poke bowl which was amazing at $16.99 and he had the 7 boneless wings for $9.99 plus teriyaki veggies $3.29. Everything here is very good and chill. Definitely worth another visit.

    Elote hotdog

Fun spot to grab good food and hang out. Service was quick and friendly, and everything felt really relaxed. If you're in the area and want something a little more interesting than a basic hot dog, this is definitely worth the stop.

    Can we bring a dog?

I don’t think so. Long Doggers in Satellite has a small table outside the restaurant for dogs, and I’ve never seen one of those at this location.

They have a pepper "salsa" on their roasted tomato that was very good. My omelette was large and very good. Very well balanced ingredients ratio. The two egg breakfast was also very large and well done. As we finished up the owner started playing guitar. Electric acoustic version. A little loud. So we let him know as did another two top. Whoa that went over like a lead ballon. If he had lost the amp it probably would have been pleasant. Pretty pricy but I do think it was a good value. Charming, eclectic, eccentric, glamorous, glittery and magical, there is something interesting to look at in every direction. The atmosphere has so much personality that simply walking through the door feels like the beginning of an experience. Chef Scott is incredibly talented, creating dish after dish from a remarkably small kitchen with an always-evolving menu, and somehow everything that comes out feels thoughtful, beautiful and made with genuine love. There is an artistry to the food here. The flavors deliver just as much as the presentation. We started with escargot, prepared two different ways, and both were absolutely delicious. From there came rich, comforting soups, fresh bread with seasoned butter, and a crisp salad before moving into the entrées. The seafood dishes were beautifully prepared, delicate where they needed to be, rich where they should be, and accompanied by simple but flavorful vegetables and sides. Our server, Todd, only enhanced the experience. He was attentive, friendly and had such a wonderful personality. With such a prime location right on the beach, it feels like it could be an incredible restaurant and a serious revenue generator, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem like much has been invested into the property. I was surprised to hear that it supposedly has the same owners as Dijon's Restaurant up the street, which has a much more polished and upscale feel. The difference between the two is pretty dramatic. During our visit, a lot of the staff seemed to be standing around waiting for customers, and the whole place just felt like it was missing some energy. The outdoor dining area is dated and not particularly inviting. The windows and exterior show plenty of wear from the beach weather--which is understandable in this location--but the overall space still needs some attention. If you do eat here, I'd recommend staying downstairs. Upstairs had more of a pool hall/dude-hangout vibe and definitely wasn't where I'd choose for a romantic weekend dinner with my wife.
