Great place. I really like the owner and his servers have all been very good and super friendly. During normal times we're eating there average once a week. We've been trying to get takeout often during all this recent craziness to help out a little. The food is good and you'll get more than enough to eat. Breakfast is great. Good is great but they are very unorganized to the point that I won't go there anymore. If you order something over the phone don't tell the customer that you ran out of them once they arrive to pickup their order over a half hour later. Please call the customer back to let them know before they arrive to pick up the order. You did apologize but by better half wasn't happy when I got home. If you like a ton of processed lunch meat on a big soft roll, this is your place. The small hoagie is more than enough to fill up two people, although I suspect, from observing the clientele, most people eat the whole thing. The large hoagie will feed an entire family. Pretty basic place in a forlorn strip mall with a restroom that's been out of order for four years at least. It'll take awhile to get your order so you have to stand there and be patient. Used to be one of the best around, but slipped big in the past few months. We are local and this was always worth the higher prices; easily, but not anymore. I ordered 2 steaks. one cheesesteak and one plain. no cheese. but they charged me for cheese. complained. well you didn't ask for cheese.. ( it was a cheesesteak.. it is implied ). seriously. But that was minor compared to the quality. the plain steak was half filled, and most of the meat was burned little crumbs. The other steak was filled better, but again, burned little crumbs. Hardly worth the higher prices ( and now they even surcharge due to higher meat prices ).. This was not the only issue we had with our recent orders, but just about sums up the decline in quality. You will fare better on the subs, but we have had some issues with those recently as well. So we just stopped going. read more

I was looking at houses in the area thinking of moving to that area. I stopped to eat and got a large supreme Italian , couldn't believe how big it was and just packed with meat truly the best Italian sandwich I've ever had. I'm a retired truck driver and have ate all over the country this beats all, I will make the 15 mile trip even if I don't move to the area. A couple days later I found myself back in the area so I got a large one and 3 adults couldn't finish it, cause it's so big. I highly recommend to anybody looking for a good sandwich. read more

The food is absolutely EXCELLENT!! However, there are a couple of "new" employees and one woman in particular who is EXTREMELY MISERABLE! Don't know her name but she is a small, petite woman? Anyway, I have only seen her there for about 3 or 4 weeks and she NEVER smiles, says hello, asks if she can help you or anything! Such a shame - I have actually started getting my lunch meats and cheese from the market - yes, the prices are HIGHER, but the CUSTOMER SERVICE is MUCH BETTER! The only reason they received a star is because the one employee fixed my order. I wish I could give them a half-star because the older red headed lady could barely take my order. How hard is it to write down 4 small special italians, light oil, lettuce and spice, all other toppings on the side? And when we pointed out that the sub was being made wrong the green haired lady chose to argue with me. I know what I said and how I said it. The quality of the sub, sorry, hoagie was below average. The capacolla looked like bologna, they used boiled ham and hard salami. I was either very disappointed or just spoiled from having normal italian subs from Casapula's. Based on Yelp reviews, I went to order and pick up sandwiches for wife and me. I tried to place order over the phone, but the voice mail hung up on me 3 times. After reading the positive reviews, we stopped for a cheesesteak today. We both agree it was the WORST cheesesteak we've had anywhere. Prior poster is right in that the sandwich has a massive amount of meat. but there are two problems here: a cheesesteak is a flavor combo of meat and cheese and whatever extra flavorings you'd like. With all the extra meat heaped in, there with only 3 thin slices of cheese. So it was really just a chopped beef on a bun meal. The second problem is this isn't any quality cut of meat like rib-eye (with enough fat to keep the sandwich moist) it was low grade dry cut, maybe a round steak. Okay, we lived in the longneck area for four years and we smelled the wonderful savor of steak subs from the shop next to our pharmacy. I told my wife we will have to try them one day. Well I tried them tonight. When she handed me my two large subs, I thought she may have handed me a bag of bricks. I was really wondering if they would fit in my car. I was laughing all the way home. My wife saw them and all most fell off her chair laughing. Those babies are huge. And you talk about good, man were they good. The rolls were perfect and so much steak you wouldn't believe it. Very good sandwiches. My wife called to place an order at 5:35pm. The order was a cheese steak, Italian hoagie and a chef salad. She was told the grill was turned off at 5:30 because they closed at 6pm, so we changed the cheesesteak to an Italian. No problem. I understand wanting to wrap up at the end of a shift. We aren't far away, so I went right over because cold sandwiches and a salad shouldn't take too long to prepare. I arrived at the deli by 5:40 or so. The grill was still on... The gentleman at the register greeted me when I walked in, asked if I'd like to place an order, and I told him that my wife just called in and placed an order. I said "we asked for a cheesesteak, but were told the grill was off, so I had to switch to an Italian". He seemed confused and went to ask the grill guy. The register guy came back and said "did we tell you we ran out of rolls"? I was getting a little frustrated, and replied "no, I was able to order a hoagie, so you're not out of rolls", and he replied, in an unfriendly tone, "well, if you ordered 2 Italians and a cheesesteak and we're out of rolls, then we can't give you a cheesesteak"! Then, the girl cutting meat turned around and stated "we tell people that the grill is off a half hour before closing when they call in. But we can do walk ins up to 15 mins before closing". I told them to cancel the order and left the deli. The register guy shouted "have a good day"! I replied "thank you, have a good day"! Very poor customer service. Don't lie to customers. Just tell them your policy when ordering so there is no confusion. read more
