I absolutely love long boards. I'm from Kansas City and have tried multiple of the different locations and have always been extremely satisfied! This is the second time I have stopped at this location and both times I've been very disappointed. The rice has been undercooked both times and this time the wrap was stale and dry. Wow! What a surprise in the downtown St Joe area! Place is small but has seating for about 30 people. Something different with the Hawaiian inspired wraps and bowls. I had the Samoan which was big enough to get two people , but I wanted what was in it. Only suggestion I would have is to offer the big wraps in a small version. Pork had a taste sweet zing and the shrimp was good and tender. Filling but not in a bloated way. Hawaiian brand sweet Maui chips. Fast and friendly, a quiet place with fresh food. This Kung Pao wrap is killer! Definitely some good spice level too. The grill marks are a great touch - like a great compromise between burrito and panini! Makes something like a certain fast food place's Grilled Stuft Burrito a joke. I accidentally happened upon Longboards when looking at other places for lunch. SO Glad that happened! Like I have always said , consistency is key at all the Longboards locations. This St Joseph location is no different. The interior is most similar in vibes to the Liberty location. The location has great parking areas close by, and you will notice some recently revived storefronts in the area. Bravo St. Joe, keep going. I ordered my old standby and wasn't disappointed. The beef was a tad bit dry, but they may have just messed the recipe up? Lastly, NEVER have I had bad service at any of the locations. Whoever is doing their hiring/training must be a pro. Stopped here on our way through town. We will be stopping again as we take this route a couple times a year. My husband got the 619 and I got the Carne Asada bowl. The Carne Asada Bowl had a good kick to it, not too spicy which I prefer. Our one year old also enjoyed bites out of both our meals. Both were great, amble amount of food, fresh taste, good price. We've enjoyed Longboards twice in the last month. We dined in 3-4 weeks ago and had great service and help from the staff on picking the right menu items for us. Tonight I ordered 3 wraps to-go and placed the order while getting in the car; I was there less than 10min later and they were finishing wrapping up food for me. The online website was very easy to navigate and the orders were all made correct even with our few custom requests. I'm very impressed that they make they open hummus from scratch (tastes amazing) and the pico is also made fresh (a bit on the spicy side). We are so glad to finally have found a quick and fresh go-to in our downtown area close to our apartment. read more

I love the vibes of this place! I wasn't even thinking about going in until I walked past it and it smelled heavenly. I ordered the Vietnamese Bowl. It was really good, although it would've been better if the egg was over easy instead of hard boiled. It was so hard to pick what to eat the first time because everything seemed so good! My dad has the Thai bowl which was okay. There's not a ton of complex flavors, which doesn't really reflect Asian food. But I will come back again and try a wrap the next time. read more

This place is awesome. The food was very good, we got the steak Cabo wrap. The steak was delicious and a very generous amount of steak in the wrap. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Accidentally left my phone behind and the guy behind the counter ran about a half mile to run it to me on our way back to the civi center...it was 30degrees out and he booked it down the street to get it to us. Great food, tried the grilled wrap mini sampler and all of them were delicious. The carne asada and Thai noodle bowls were also fantastic. In our group of six, everyone loved what they got, we'll definitely be back.
