It was my first time at Long Horn and I had a really good experience. They had an iPad at the table to pay the bill, which made everything super easy and convenient. Our server was great. He was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. My 85 year old dad chose the ribeye because it seemed like it was one of their most popular cut and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. My strip steak came out closer to medium than I ordered, but it still tasted really good, so no major complaints there. The baked potato was amazing and honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The service was really great our waiter victor was very attentive and very friendly very polite and pretty damn accurate on everything. He really was keeping an eye on all the tables. Make sure that all the guests were all very well taken care of. I have to add also the front of the house the maître D and everyone in the front of the house was really doing a great job I really find the very important to always give credit to all the front staff I mean, obviously the cooks in the back of the house meaning the kitchen know what they're doing. I mean my steak. I ordered a simple T-bone steak. I mean when I cut into it It was like cutting into butter I mean he really cooked. It medium rare how I ordered my steak I always try to give credit to everyone. It's very important to always give recognition to the waiters the front of the house just as well as in the back of the house, but everybody always points out the chefs and never says anything about the person that is serving them or they leave out the guy that's cleaning the bathroom. Every unit in a restaurant is very important and they all have important roles and then should get the credit that they deserve for all their hard work and I must say this restaurant has a really great staff, and they should be recognized for their hard work. I am not sure what the low reviews are about nor am I interested in reading them that's because I myself have enjoyed my food and the hospitality each time I go. You have to understand that this is a chain restaurant so it is not the best of steakhouses as far as chain restaurants go, but it does the job. After waiting over 30 minutes past my curbside pickup time I decided to go in. It's a big space with a full bar. I ordered their porterhouse steak and double mash . The mash potatoes were good, thus the three stars. The customer service inside was also good thus the three stars. The steak was HORRIBLE. It was not medium as requested, hell it wasn't even medium well. My steak my was done . I did suck it up and ate about half, and gave my dog the rest. My first time here. The food took over an hour to get. Then when the food came out my fiance steak was over cooked, his mother's steak over cooked also. My granddaughters chicken tenders and fries were burned, my step sons cheeseburger was burned, they served us raw wings and the food was cold. We asked to speak with a manager she stated that she will review our order and stated that she will refire the order then said that there were 17 tickets ahead of us for that after sitting over an hour in the first place. The waiter was nice but seemed a bit forgetful or maybe he was tired so we didn't let that take away from the experience. The restaurant itself seemed darker than usual but again we tried not to fixate on that. Now for the food: 1. Started with the honey wheat bread and it was okay, could've been warmer 2. According to my aunt, the chicken was salty and I'm assuming it's because of the Parmesan crust but without the crust, the chicken was bland. 6. They saved the burger for the next day haha but I'm guessing it turned out fine 7. The chocolate stampede: WOW. If you love chocolate I'd highly recommend. It was a cake and mousse in one with ice cream. A huge portion too, 4 of us couldn't even finish it. I asked for Medium rare and I got mostly the whole inside not cooked if I say a little red it's not the whole thing and the lobster was so tiny and tasted like it came out of a toilet bowl. So I think the server only cared about her big tip kept disappearing and didn't come around to ask how's the food like they use too. Than I was pooping red n green the color of the food for 4 days. So I think pretty soon their closing business looked kinda empty. The place itself looked gloomy so don't eat there. Let me tell u for a restaurant chain the lamb chops were insanely delicious!!!!!!!!! Cooked medium as requested, they weee seasoned well and in an amazing glaze. It is served with Mash potatoes and wilted spinach but i omitted the Mash! For me Longhorn never misses!!! Great experience overall at LongHorn Steakhouse. The service was very good and attentive, the ribeye steak was cooked well and tasted great, and the beer was cold and refreshing. My first time at longhorn was a bit of a disappointment. Let me explain, we started off by being seated right away which was great for a Saturday night. Once we were seated, we waited 20 mins for any waiter or waitress to approach us. Within those seated 20 mins we didn't even get drinks or complimentary bread. How does a restaurant run out of wings??? That was pretty disappointing. I ordered a French onion soup as my appetizer and I was told they ran out of spoon silverware so I was given a plastic spoon. My soup was also cold. I never heard of a restaurant running out of silverware. On the positive side, the food was delicous we had the mushroom appetizer, wild Wild West shrimp, I had a NY strip steak for dinner which was good and so were the mashed potato's. My absolute favorite was the dessert which was called the chocolate stampede. It was a delicious chocolate mousse cake with ice cream. I would return for this dessert. There a very big parking lot. The staff is ok. The place its self has some issues. The lights kept going bright and dim throughout our dinner, very weird. The food was horrible. My partner and I have been going to this location for about 2 years now because we generally enjoy the food (considering it's a chain). We visited very recently to decide that'll be our last time at this location. The staff is normally fairly pleasant, but the biggest issue is the cleanliness. You can smell the moldy carpet floors from the front door, the table silverware/glassware could be a lot cleaner and the bathrooms aren't consistent tended to. I have been going to this Longhorn every Saturday for over 5 years, I have seen many servers come and go. I order the same thing all the time. Lately the service has gotten noticeably bad. On one Saturday I had to send my order back 3 times. This last Saturday I went with my sister and niece as we always and the server was extremely rude, she had an attitude. I had to send my order back as it was not correct. The table by the kitchen has flies all over the wall. The manager came over to apologize about the order being wrong and I informed him about all the flies on the wall. This is not an isolated incident, the flies have been there for a very long time now. It was a pleasure and heart warming to see the LGBTQ community represented here. From the moment we walked I we were greeted with such grace and respect! Our server was amazing! A little stretched out but nevertheless terrific. We ordered onion pedals , wings and firecracker shrimps topped off with two bowls of loaded potato soup! Everything was good and well portioned. The music was a bit much and needed some variation. But the restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. Service was a bit slow so we had to be patient. Visited Longhorn Steakhouse after a busy day of shopping. My party was seated pretty quick on a Saturday night. It was pretty close to closing but they were still seating a lot of people. We started off with waters and sodas for our drinks. The waitress was so sweet and attentive throughout our time there. We ordered our food quickly since we always get the same thing. I had the 9oz Flo's Filet steak with a side of mashed potato (and fries not shown). My friend had the Renegade Sirloin (I think) with a side of steamed asparagus, baked potato, and RedRock Grilled Shrimp over rice. The prices are pretty good for the entree and two sides they allow us. Longhorn never disappoints! It tastes as delicious as always. My friend finished the whole plate and I pretty much did too. The service was well, it took time for our bread to come out but the waiter was very nice and respectful. For appetizers I ordered the spicy chicken bites, they were sweat and spicy and very delicious. I got the sirloin 8oz and the half rack of ribs, with a sweet potato and cream of spinach, the rest got the rib eye and various sides. I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts and cream of spinach! While appetizers were very good and service was good (not outstanding, but good) three out of four steaks ordered and also lamb chops were burnt on the top!!! :((( All steaks and lamb chops were cooked wrong - overcooked either entirely or on one side. For one I requested to replace (I regret I didn't do it for all). Replacement was slightly burnt on top again!!! What? Cook level was better, but bottom was overcooked again!!! What? There is something seriously wrong with steak cooking ability of this restaurant! Unless you like burnt overcooked steaks skip this location by all means. First of all, my family have been dining at this LongHorn location for years and we are usually a party of 10-20 people. We've always sat together and if we couldn't the manager would split us into two side by side tables together, which is totally fine with me. However this time, the manager there was giving us a hard time by splitting us into 3 different tables/opposite sections and wouldn't change her mind. Mind you, this was a family birthday dinner and this manager changed the whole mood of the night. And when I brought it up to her, she told me she wasn't going to change the seating and to leave if we weren't satisfied with her decision... does that sound right to you? Like, the restaurant wasn't even half full with customers. There was a lot of empty tables available, but I guess the manager doesn't particularly care too much about serving LongHorn guests. I thought that was unacceptable, her customer service needs to be corrected. The waitstaff that were serving us were nice, and the food was okay, but on the salty side tonight. My aunt ordered a margarita and server told us that they ran out of the usual shaker bottles and margarita glasses. They gave us a regular soda glass and didn't even come with the salt on the rim. How is that possible for a half empty restaurant? So if you are a big family, be prepared to be split up into 3-4 separate groups with not much else to look forward to. read more
