They do not have any delivery services to deliver so if you want take out you have to pick it up or eat it there but both are worth it! One place I can say that only a Longhorn Steakhouse location I wasn't used to but was closer to Far NorthEast Philly where my sister lives off the Boulevard and their Whitman Steakhouse is just off Boulevard in NE philly and we went there -was the only time in over 25+ years of their steaks I had to send back because my rare Longhorn Porterhouse, their biggest steak they sell was way over cooked for me, not slightly but was atleast medium to medium well and for a rare ordered , you need an entire new steak if it is already well over-cooked and that was the only time LongHorn didn't make a perfect temperature for everyone at the table -no one ate over medium rare so they brought me a new rare perfectly cooked steak after manager came over and took care immediately . Had I stayed at my Vensalem location I have never had a problem in 25 years at that location and before that was the OxfordValkey location so I have been eating their steaks since up in this area. We haven't eaten here in awhile. It's really slipped! Very dissatisfied with the steaks. My wife had the ribeye and I had a sirloin. Her steak was over seasoned and just did not taste great. The Parmesan Crusted Spinach Dip was a "flavorful four cheese spinach dip topped with...signature creamy Parmesan and garlic cheese crust". The crispy flatbread chips were perfect. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The salad was perfectly light and refreshing. To be fair, I probably should've stopped after the appetizer and salad. If they'd let us title these things, this one would be called: The House that Emma built!!! I watched this young lady Barry Allen herself all around the restaurant. Multiple people would just yell out her name and she'd appear out of nowhere to hand take-outs, answer the phone, run drinks, or whatever was needed. Seriously, she was the type of super server, everyone would want to have on their staff. So if she was so good at service why the three-star rating (which would've been two without her) because she wasn't MY server.....I have no idea what my server's name was. I was sat at the bar, at a dirty/unwiped spot, I got annoyed while waiting and just wiped it myself! Now here's the thing with restaurants, sometimes you have to wait. Maybe your server is busy, maybe they're in the bathroom. There's a simple way to deal with this, as Roman Reigns would say....ACKNOWLEDGE ME!!!!! Seriously, some form of "Hello sir, I'll be with you in a minute" goes a long way. The bartender had NO TIME for me at all, I was about to walk out when she finally came over and in such a "friendly" manner said "What do you want" No hello, no my name is.....just "What do you want" *sigh* I ordered and tried to focus of the Yankees game because by this time I was hella annoyed, and annoyed at myself for staying but I was HANGRY (its a thing) When my bread came out, Emma brought it, when my drink came out/ needed to be refilled was it the bartender? Nope, Emma again. When I needed a to-go container guess who? So when it came time for me to pay and tip, guess who got the gratuity? You guessed it! First time here in a while. Waited a while on a Friday night which was expected. For a busy night our server was very attentive and kept our glasses full which was appreciated. We had the shrimp and peppers as an app. The shrimp was fresh and tender and the peppers really added a nice heat and acidity to the dish overall. My son ordered the kids tenders. In my years of tender ordering I am well aware when they serve frozen vs fresh, and these were fresh. Nicely breaded and juicy with a hint of sweetness. Accompanied with fresh broccoli. I had the NY strip for my entree. Waited a while for dinner but the Cook was a perfect medium rare. Another 3.5 star review but I always round up. My son loves longhorn and it was his birthday so his choice. He ordered the filet mignon with Mac and cheese and baked potato. He wasn't a fan of the Mac but he only likes my homemade Mac so that wasn't a surprise. He loved the filet (as usual, that's what he always gets) and the baked potato. I got the ribs for the first time and they were pretty good. Hubby got the salmon again which is our usual go to, the 10 oz is a big piece. Miserable day out but got to catch lunch out between appointments. Longhorn has great lunch specials under $10 and the don't skimp on portions! I got a 1/2 pound burger that was well done with cheese as ordered and it came with side of delicious shrimp and lobster soup. Service was great and burger was exactly as I ordered. Wings came with sauce on the side so you can control the heat. I personally like this idea. Wings were meaty and delicious 4 stars wish you had more choices for sauce. Salad was 3 stars needed more dressing or flavor. Steak 5 stars cooked perfectly and great taste. Shrimp 4 stars on flavor. Service 2 stars not sure if waitress was new or had other things on her mind, 3 people arrived after us and were seated next to us and their waitress came right over and had the drinks and bread on the table and was taking their order before we were even greeted. Surprisingly I am granting Longhorn a 4-star rating. I am not a big fan of the chains and especially so with the likings of Longhorn (Much less during the holidays and it being so close to the mall). I must say I am shocked that our meal was not only tasty but served hot and with a waitress that was invested. Too many are rushed, hangered and visibly annoyed lately and ours was the exception. She checked on us regularly and made sure everything was to our liking, even when the kitchen goofed on the potato, she quickly made it right. The steaks were on par for a chain but edible and not tortured during cooking. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and well kept. The prices were on the higher end for the serving/quality we received but again, chain restaurant... expected. All in all, an enjoyable night leaving us satisfied. read more

Came in a few weeks ago with my mom and sister. We had been to this particular location about a year ago, and we weren't too happy with our service. The manager dealt with it very well though, and we decided to give it another try. We arrived around 8, and we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Our waiter was extremely friendly. After looking over the menu, we placed our orders. I ordered an 8oz 'Renegade Sirloin' with seasoned fries and broccoli. While we waited for our orders to be made, the waiter brought out fresh honey wheat bread and butter. Once our food arrived, it looked delicious. My steak was made well; it was medium rare like I asked for it. The fries were tasty, and the broccoli was steamed fresh but not soggy. We also ordered a 'Caramel Apple Goldrush' for dessert, which was pretty good, but nothing special. Overall, I enjoyed our experience. Service was great, and food quality was solid. I've eaten at other LongHorn Steakhouse locations, but this was the first for this one. We were seated promptly and our orders were taken relatively quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. Our host and server were also pleasant and friendly. The restaurant was lit well enough for the atmosphere (not too bright, not too dim), the music wasn't overly loud and even though it was busy, it wasn't overly noisy. The restaurant and facilities were clean as well, which is always a plus. The food was very good and was what I expected based on visits to other locations. The steak was cooked to order, tender and didn't require any extra sauce or seasoning. The chicken was moist and tender as well. The sides we chose, although based on our personal preference, were also delicious and weren't over cooked. Overall, this was a very nice restaurant, with great service and very good food. Totally satisfied with our pre-movie dinner. My husband had a steak, cooked perfectly and well-seasoned, and I had a strawberry-pecan side salad, which was delicious, although I could have done with a bit less dressing. Most places drench their salads, I should have asked for it on the side. The margaritas were pretty good (they gave us the whole shaker for each, which came out to 2 glasses full woohoo!) but I must say my Desert Cactus marg was too sweet, especially paired with all that raspberry vinaigrette I was munching on. I wanted to try it because I hail from Texas and I must say cactus pear jelly is my favorite kind of jam, so I had to check it out. Oh well! My husband's pomegranate marg was way better, with just the right tart punch and not too sweet. I would have tried the dessert, but I was all sweetened out at that point. The decor is ALMOST over-the-top cowboy, but I think they pull it off nicely. It's dark and has a nice cozy western stone-cabin kind of feel. It's not too corny and I appreciate the metal artwork since metalwork is actually a traditional Texan artistic/utilitarian medium. The old timey photographs of women riding horses is pretty awesome too. I've been here before, (holy sweet potato!) but it's been a while. I don't remember having a bad experience, but I've been away so long since I've been trying to check out local places vs chains. Longhorn is personally on the top end of chain steakhouses in the area. I believe it is superior to Outback Steakhouse in many ways. This MLK visit was rudimentary. Upon entering a restaurant with 12 tables filled we noticed a family of five waiting. The hostess got our name and kept repeating we have two servers, I don't know where to put you yet, something about management and it should be a minute, no wait five minutes. We were perplexed. Much better ways to handle that situation and we were on the verge of leaving. A few minutes later we were seated and ordered our meals. The old fashioned we received were way too sweet and a bit heavy on the whiskey. The meals were above average. Jess got the 6oz sirloin that she really enjoyed. I got the Flo's 8pz filet and lobster tail. Filet was a little tougher than I would of liked and lobster tail did not taste all that fresh. We came in tonight (a Saturday) did a waitlist while on the way- it was 25 minutes and we arrived around that time and we're seated right away. Larry was our server and he was fantastic, the food was delicious and came out in great time. The restaurant itself is spotless, manager is walking around checking on customers. I don't know how they do it, but they have a mighty good cheeseburger! I think it is the flame broiling and knowing when to flip it! My hubby likes their steaks, he chooses either the 22 oz. porterhouse or the strip steak. The filet is okay, not the best I have ever had, but okay. Much better than Outback any day of the week! I love their huge baked sweet potatoes loaded with butter and brown sugar and cinnamon. Their ribs are okay, I've had better and their sides are much better than most chain restaurants with asparagus, rice, mushrooms and brandied apples. Unlike most people that are completely against chain restaurants, I happen to appreciate them. This is especially true if it means I don't have to make a mess in my kitchen, or when it comes to steak, taking out a grill and having to clean all that up as well. I came in with a free appetizer coupon, that I was extremely thankful for because the prices of steakhouses tend to be a bit more than everywhere else. We ordered the sampler which was lackluster. I had high expectations for the fried shrimp, chicken taquitos and stuffed mushroom but they all felt like they were just dumped from a freeze to a fryer and straight to our table. I ordered the parmesean crusted chicken with a loaded mash potato, it it was very tasty. It was not fried, but grilled. The potato was nicely loaded, although the bacon bits were definitely old and I had to pick them off. The entree also came with a salad. The ceasa salad lacked flavor and dressing, all in all, very average. The hubby ordered a steak which was pretty small, it came with mashed potatoes that were not in abundance either, so his plate just looked sad. He did enjoy his steak, but needed half my chicken to fill up. Overall, I don't think I will be returning. I like Texas Roadhouse seasoning much better and the atmosphere. Absolutely bad! Longhorn has gone down so badly. The first thing I noticed in the waiting area was the smell. Dirty dishrag stink. The hostess was useless and had a hard time counting to 5. She was holding 5 menus and calling out for a party of 6, and we were the only people waiting. The steak (steakhouse is in the name) was cooked wrong 3 times. We finally gave up trying. The waitress was nice but not terribly effective and we got yelled to by the guy bringing out the food to the table as if we were ordering peanuts at a Phillies game. The tables are encrusted with years of built up dirt. I know this isn't a high quality steak house but it shouldn't be this bad. What the heck is wrong with Restaurants in Bensalem?? The only saving grace was the politeness of the server. We ordered 2 identical meals, the steaks were not only completely different thickness (mine was 2X the thickness of my wife's) but they were overdone and overseasoned (my rare order came to the table as medium and her medium rare came in as medium well borderline well). When you're paying $20+ for a steak, you generally would like it to arrive AS REQUESTED. We don't like chewing on overly salty shoe leather, and that's what we were served. We arrived with a large group and was seated quickly. I did call ahead to let them know what time we would be arriving. They really don't take reservations but, if you call ahead they do seat you ahead of everyone. The service was outstanding and the manager kept checking on us to make sure we had everything that we ordered. They went over and above as far as service goes. The food was delivered to the table hot and, with no wait. There was a constant flow of bread coming to the table. Our every need was taken care of and, if we had a complaint they were right there fixing the problem. There wasn't too many complaints going around since the food was so delicious. Came here to Celebrate my brother getting a new house. Very disappointed we came here with a party of 12 was told no longer then half hour wait boy that was a lie. We waited and waited half hour went by then 45 minutes then a hour then hour 10 minutes longest wait ever to wait for a table. With a few complaints to the host each time he apologized but we still had to wait. Someone came in and said they called in advance for a reservation but all the employees said they didn't take any reservations and this person began to make a scene and they all got seated. This really pissed my party of 12 off because we just waited a hour and just because someone comes in and says they called they get a seat before the people that been there waiting more then a hour is a bunch of crap. So after waiting a hour and half we finally got seated. I don't recommend coming here their customer service is horrible worst place to.come you can't even get seated in a half hour even when told that is the longest you will wait.
