I have been to the Park Meadows location at least 10 times the Fort Collins location twice and have never been disappointed. Their steaks are always tender, trimmed well and appropriately cooked. Reviews of steak places can be iffy because a lot of people don't seem to understand the industry standard for doneness. I've seen reviews with pictures of a medium cook described as rare or bloody. C'mon people! The sides are great, portions are ample and most of the desserts are really good too. I would recommend l Longhorn hands down over any other chain. I know it iprobably isn't true but something about them having the same parent company as the Capital Grille makes me feel like they get better beef. read more

Lisa was exceptional on NYE as our server. Great recommendations, always attentive and friendly. We used to online waitlist. Make sure you check in when you get there to get your place in line. The front lobby is heated of you can't find a place inside to wait. Joined the club and got a free app coupon. The chicken bites were really good. Crispy but not deep fried to dry. Considering this is a chain restaurant with relatively affordable menu options for a Steakhouse, I'm very impressed with Longhorn and would definitely come here again (already did twice in two weeks bc we've been in the mood for steak)! Let's start with basics. They don't take reservations. At all. You join an online "wait list" that tells you approximately when your table will be ready and what number you are on the wait list. If the restaurant isn't busy, it tells you to just come in and that there's no wait. When we went on a Sunday evening the place was hopping but there was no wait, on Friday night as one would expect we had to get on the wait list and the wait was about 35 minutes. We got there a little early, waited a bit and really in almost exactly 35 minutes we were seated. So really can't complain about that. The service is as would be expected very quick and the servers we had both times were very friendly and efficient. They start the dinner out with drinks and warm bread served with room temp whipped butter - it's nothing too special, but it's a great gesture to have warm bread and actually spreadable butter. Both times we straight up ordered entrees without any appetizers, for steaks we opted for outlaw ribeye and NY strip and for sides we've so far tried the loaded baked potato, Brussel sprouts (small upcharge), broccoli and fries. We also tried the ceaser salad since when we first got here we thought you had to order a salad and one side, turns out you can just order 2 sides instead of your salad so that was nice. Especially bc the ceaser salad was just meh, your basic ceaser salad that's not special, but serves to make you feel like you're kinda being healthy? Though it could've been bc they'd actually forgotten to dress mine at all and I was basically eating just leaves - I definitely could've asked for dressing so that's on me, but I wasn't in the mood for salad anyway. Both times are steaks were cooked to perfection (NY strip medium and outlaw ribeye medium-rare) and we were quite satisfied with them. I agree with some reviews that the steaks are very heavily seasoned, but I do like my steak seasoned? I dunno, I guess to some people it may be too salty, especially with NY strip cause it is a quite thin cut that they bring out - which is one downside since it continues to cook at your table so by the end of the dinner the piece you're eating may be slightly more done than what you'd asked for but again - you're at a chain restaurant so your expectations should be set right I think. At any rate, the steaks when they first arrived were always cooked just right for us. The loaded baked potato is as amazing as a loaded baked potato should be and I don't think one can mess that up. The Brussel sprouts are super crispy and in a sweet/chili sauce that goes really well with it, the broccoli was just steamed broccoli and the fries were fresh/hot and tasted quite good. Both times we've been here the entrees were insanely filling and we had no room for dessert but their dessert menu, which features 4 items, sound like they'd give anyone diabetes if you didn't pace yourself with them and I'm definitely looking forward to trying them all in the future (but will definitely need to share and somehow pace myself against all that chocolate). Like with most other restaurants you should order your steak cooked one level higher than you want it here, because it's undercooked. I.e. if you want rare, order it medium-rare. If you want medium-rare, order it medium. We got a 9oz Filet, Outlaw Ribeye, and kids sirloin. The outlaw ribeye was the best of the 3. The filet was very peppery, like the seasoning is heavy with black pepper, which gave it a little too much spice. Similarly the kids sirloin was too spicy for my daughter. I have a high spiciness tolerance so they weren't too hot for me, but I can see someone who doesn't like spiciness at all to not be able to enjoy those steaks. The ribeye had a much different (and better) flavor profile. It tasted like it got its flavor from the grill, whereas the other steaks relied on seasoning to get their flavor. The 2 appetizers we got were amazing. The spinach dip and the stuffed mushrooms. I'm not a fan of the bread things that comes with the spinach dip, I would prefer tortilla chips. I have nothing bad to say about the mushrooms. They were perfect. The service was great, fast, and friendly. Overall I would return here, either myself or with specific people that I know would like it. Unfortunately, unless there are other seasoning options, my wife and daughter would not eat here again just due to the pepperiness of the steaks. read more

I came here during covid, one thing I noticed right away was that they do not implement wearing your mask to enter as I saw more than 10 walking in and to the bathroom without a mask. I felt very uncomfortable with that. They have a good price for a ribeye steak sandwich that comes with a side for 11.99, which is really a great price. There are plenty of sides to choose from which I love. The sandwich was simple with only steak, caramelized onions and cheese. A little bland to be honest. But still worth getting for sure The firecracker chicken wraps are basically chicken taquitos... probably wouldn't get the again for the price of $10. I appreciated the bread was warm. Father's Day carry out, supposed to be ready for pickup in 45 minutes(longer than normal but understand it's Fathers Day). We did get a rude host She wanted to sit me and my wife next to a big group , I ask to be seated some where more quieter she had a attitude. I even said thank you and she ignored me. We sat at our table for about 10 15 min before some one even acknowledged us. I don't know if it was because we were by our self by the bar. I wish I would of got our waitress name, when she noticed us she deeply apologized and even upgraded our drinks for the long wait. Came here for dinner tonight. Got my side salad and got a few bites in before finding a used bandaid in my salad. Instantly felt sick and had my family stop eating. The kitchen manager came out and said they all wear blue bandaids as if to say I put it there. She took it away and the manager on duty came out and offered to bring out new food. Have been to the Littleton and Centennial locations. For the price it's the best price/value combo. I get the NY Strip, loaded baked potato, side salad, and an adult beverage for under$40. We visited Longhorn Steakhouse on E county Line Road on 1/5/24 and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The Rob Roy was very good. We decide to try an new medium price steakhouse and Longhorn looked like a good choice. My boyfriend and I went to the Park Meadows location. The restaurant has a lovely warm atmosphere. We were greeted at our table by a lovely friendly server. We started our meal with cocktails and the stuffed mushrooms. My long island was pretty good, my boyfriend had a beer that was fine. The stuffed mushrooms were not hot, swimming in cheese and overly salty although they tasted better on the bread. We selected our entrees.... my boyfriend decided on the T-bone and I ordered the pork chops. As we just began enjoying our salads, the entrees arrive.... way too soon. It wasn't like the restaurant was that busy that they could not adequately time the delivery. I told the waitress that it was way too soon.... she asked if we wanted to do something about it.... I think that she should have just done something. We chose just to have her her leave them. The T-bone steak was super thin, over seasoned and very fatty. My pork chops, however, we juicy and tender but also a little over seasoned. Overall, the food was pretty mediocre. Certainly there are many steakhouses in this price range that are better. Our server was maybe having an off night--I ordered Diet Coke with lime, he brought the Diet Coke and said he forgot the lime, when he brought the salads much later I asked for lime again...and then had to ask a third time. Excellent service I'm surprised I haven't been here before. Right next to Rocky Bottom and the Sushi Bay in Park meadows. Attended a surprise bday party it was quite busy since it was a Saturday night. They put together a bunch of square tables and 2 adjacent booths for our party. I didn't remember all of our servers names but the staff was friendly and quick. I had a Caesar salad and the Rib eye medium rare and some local IPA beer . We were more concerned about getting all of our friends and family sitting together. They did their best to accommodate us, the food was excellent. I was excited to visit Colorado again because the last time I was in town (last fall), I saw Longhorn Steakhouses in Denver but didn't have the opportunity to stop by due to time. It's been at least 7 years since I've visited a Longhorn but remembered it was so good the last time I dined at one in South Georgia. They're a casual dining chain restaurant so pretty no frills. We stopped in for a late lunch so the dining room was fairly empty when we arrived. Service was efficient and our appetizer and entrees came out fairly quickly. We ordered ribeyes, of course, and it was oh so flavorful and juicy that I wished I could've eaten another one! I just wish they there were more Longhorns spread across the country, especially on the west coast so that I could visit more often! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a casual restaurant serving up juicy, flavorful steaks! Can't wait to stop by here again the next time I'm in town! read more

Took 30 minutes for our salads to arrive, 45 minutes for one cocktail. Restaurant was out of baked potatoes on a long weekend! Steaks were over salted and over seasoned, t bone was grossly over cooked and stringy. Wife ordered asparagus and her steak was sitting in a lemony pool of whatever was used on the asparagus. No sign of a manager, staff wandering around , tables not bussed, utter chaos. What a disappointment, offered free deserts, appetizers by our waiter, declined, just wanted to get out of there asap. Well I have to say the steaks are quite a bit better, and the sides are better too! I also like the bread better but I do kind of miss the butter they use at TR. I love me some meat. There's two steak houses around us that was in my burgeoning bookmark list (again). This is one of them. I'm no snub of corporate steakhouses. LongHorn is very good, reasonably priced and service is on point. So I can't wait to go back and try a different meat cut. My favorite steak of all time is the cowboy steak. Unfortunately they don't carry this. What they have is a boneless Rib Eye with a side of Fire Grilled corn on the cob. Now that's a very good simple meal. Adam had the Porterhouse with a side of the same as well. Although he acknowledged that mine actually tastes better. My Rib Eye was tender, generously salted and peppered. I was impressed. Total for dinner for two? $56 plus $11 tip. Our waiter was most deserving of the 20% tip. He was fast, present but not overbearing. read more

Had lunch there twice this week. The Longhorn lunch plate cheeseburgers are terrific. Thick burger patties are cooked to order, so they are drip-in-the-plate juicy and don't require a ton of condiments to give them flavor. You have a choice of a side salad, fries, or soup. Took my family out for Easter and saw they weren't too busy here at the location closest to park meadows mall. We were greeted and sat almost instantly. I had the cowboy ribeye, my wife had the ribeye sandwich and my daughter had the chicken tenders. Everything we received was excellent! Well cooked, the service was outstanding and it was a very friendly environment. The server brought out the onion bites prior to our meal, and it was great.
