    Family steak night
    Candace D.

Our family night was not very good..after an hour our server realized she forgot to put our ticket up...with four kids under 7..we were given some fries, and shrimp (kids wanted their Mac and cheese and nuggets.) Filets and ribeyes were delayed..our deliveries are always fresh

Staff here is AMAZING. Super friendly polite and do not bother you too much. They always make sure you have what you need. Although the meat here in my opinion has no flavor or seasoning. Lobster was seasoned very well. They serve huge side salads and they're so good. A little over priced for unseasoned meat though

It was awesome!! The Appetizer was yummy. Firecracker Chicken Wraps!! The Grilled Chicken Salad was amazing as always!! Every time I'm in town from Vegas I always have to visit this location. Customer Service was great.

This was our first time dining at Longhorn Steakhouse. We really liked the decor onside the restaurant. Service was very good and so was the food. Parking was convenient. COVID precautions in place, with staff all wearing masks.

If I could give 4.5 I would. The staff was amazing, I believe I was seated by a manager, he was very kind. Our waitress was funny and did her job well. I got the lunch special steak sandwich and lobster & crab chowder. It was all very tasty but the edges of the bread on the sandwich were a little rough for my liking. Just toasted for a little too long.

Went to Longhorn on 10/15/21 and ordered a rare ribeye but we got raw. The meat was pretty cold still. Overall, the server was pleasant and helpful and notified the manager so this score/comment is nothing towards him. The manager stopped by and looked at the steak and asked us how we ordered the steak. I said rare and showed her. She apologized and asked if she wanted to have it recooked. At this point, I was there with my raw steak for about 30 minutes...I was pretty much done. I replied no and she replied "ok, I'm sorry" and walked away. Mind you Other tables had to send steaks back to the kitchen. I'm not here to ask for free food but a little more compassion would have been nice. The server followed up and asked what the manager decided and when we told him he was shocked. Needless to say, so was I. See photo of the steak.

I've been to various Longhorn locations in the past few years, and found it to be "fair" dining. In my terms, it meant I didn't plan to make a special effort to return, but wouldn't be upset if I happened to eat there again. Then, in Nov 2015 they hosted a yelp event at an Omaha location that I was invited too, and I was blown away at the service and the food. To make sure this wasn't just propaganda to butter "elite yelpers" up, I visited a few locations since the event to see if service and food were still up to par. I was pleasantly surprised at my findings. This Council Bluffs location was one of the ones I have visited since the yelp event, and I found the staff to be smiling, helpful, and not overbearing. All food came out on time and with the correct time spacing (app, main course, desert) and all food was hot served right as it was made (it seems). I was really happy with the wild west shrimp $8.99, as steal for the portion, and the lunch specials are also very reasonable. Overall the food was great. I have yet to try the ribeye, which I had loved very much at the event, but will have to save that for an update. And drink lots of water when dining here, as the food tends to be on the salty side.

Came here on a Tuesday night with a colleague for a late dinner. I ordered the 6oz filet and lobster tail with asparagus and a strawberry and pecan salad. The food was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender provided great service. Will be coming back here again. I highly recommend!! A++++

Loved this place!…read more Omaha was such a surprising place for its range of high quality food. Memoir was only a few blocks away from our Moxy Hotel. We were able make a reservation on Open Table. Food (5/5): We had some wonderful food here. We had the following: TSUNAMI MAKI inside * shrimp tempura, crab mix, cream cheese / outside * crab stick tempura, spicy honey mustard, sweet soy, sesame seeds (8 pcs) WAGYU MEMOIR DIP* - smoked shaved beef, crescenza cheese, horseradish aioli, french bread, fries or simple salad Both were really delicious. For some reason, I missed the the "dip" was a "French dip sandwich" - I thought tit was actually a dip (haha). We split the sandwich as it was huge, and then ended up ditching the bread and adding the beef to the fried rice, below. BEEF FAT FRIED RICE - egg, snow peas, carrot, scallion Service (5/5): Server was kind and efficient. Ambiance (5/5): Cool, modern and upscale vibe. We had a cool corner booth. Loved the atmosphere.

The online ordering website was easy to manage and schedule my order. Upon arrival, the restaurant is beautiful so I would have loved to dine in. Yellowtail Sashimi: 5/5 fresh combination of fish, citrus, and a lil heat from the jalapeño! Memoir Salad: 4/5 little more cheese than I would have preferred. But good. I added the flatiron steak which was really tasty! I almost ate it alone as it was packaged separately, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked medium. Not sure how many ounces there were. Appeared small but good lunch portion. Roasted Beets: 2/5 I can't say I enjoyed this combination. The yogurt had a twang to it that I felt like was throwing everything off.

We were seated right away, and it was a perfect day to sit outside. The hostess let us know they had workers outside, but we were totally okay with the noise, which ended up being very minimal. We didn't order any drinks, but for food, I decided to try the birria grilled cheese, which comes with one side, and I chose fries. Not only did it look so appetizing, but it tasted AMAZING. The bread had some sort of seasoning on it that added so much flavor to the sandwich. The fries were seasoned exceptionally well too. I'll definitely be back sometime soon to try more items. The food today was 10/10, and our waitress was very kind and attentive as well.

I had the Cubano sandwich, which was good overall, especially the smoky meat, but I think the coarse-ground mustard overpowered the flavours a bit and dulled the smokiness a bit. A plain yellow mustard might balance the sandwich better and let the smokiness shine through more. The sweet potato fries, however, were excellent. My wife Laura ordered Emily's Salad, which was pleasant and fresh, though we both thought it could have benefited from a little crunch--maybe some seeds or nuts added in. Our daughter Alex had the birria tacos and carne asada fries. The tacos were tasty, though a little on the small side, but the carne asada fries were fantastic. Umai! (I am a Rengoku fan; if you know, you know.) I highly recommend it. Our other daughter, Sam, ordered the birria grilled cheese and elote fries, and both were really good. Her cherryade was especially refreshing. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, though the dining area and patio felt a bit bare. A few plants outside and inside would really warm the place up and give it more character. The music was pretty good with indie hits in there. I also tried the Old Fashioned. It was definitely strong, which I appreciated, but it felt like it was missing a touch of sweetness or something to round it out. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, and I'd absolutely go back and try more on the menu. Their waitstaff was top-notch and really were on their game. The restaurant has good ingredients and solid ideas--it just feels like a few flavour balances could be dialed in a little more.

The pork was tender and flavorful, and the salmon had a great crust without overpowering the fish. My favorite part may have been the sweet pea and lemon risotto. It was soooooo creamy and packed with flavor. Every bite was better than the last. The vegetables and accompaniments on both plates were thoughtful and well prepared. I can't stop thinking about the Brussels sprouts. They were so good I'd go back just to order a plate of those. Honestly, we weren't that... impressed, but we gave it a valiant go on both meals chosen! Kinda bummed there wasn't a drink menu with cocktails, but they had a great selection of wine ranging from $100-$500 a bottle. So, we stuck with water. Bread and creamy butter was dropped off while we waited and who can't resist a warm roll? Got the Trail Boss Prime Rib, with salad bar, and baked potato side was requested as medium. The au ju lacked flavor, and only lasted a few bites before not used at all. The baked potato was delish though! Prime rib was very tender, a lot of cap which was nice, but it was just sorta.. average. I snagged their Teriyaki Tenderloin Kabob on a bed of wild rice, salad bar, and asparagus side (probably the first restaurant I've seen that's offered asparagus as an actual side), requested well done. By all accounts it does look a bit charred, but when the veggies were pulled apart, they were warm and tender and paired well with the teriyaki and rice. That rice was delish! Asparagus didn't blow any air up my skirt unfortunately, because I really wanted it to blow my mind. I felt like we left a lot of food on our plates, but that could've just been how it was.
