After such a great experience at other Longhorns I was disappointed with this one. My husband and I waited between 5 and 10 minutes before our server came to our table for the first time. Amazing experience... this is our 3td time and I finally took the time to rate this steak house. The manager today was so professional and took the time to come out and apologize for our wait. Our waitress Ashley had the best service I have ever had in a while. She was on time and so friendly , just what great customer service stood for. Thank you Longhorn Steakhouse of Dothan for making my husbands birthday a great one. The steak was cooked through perfection and the lamb chops are a must have. OMGOSH skipped lunch today knew I would be at a Longhorn tonight.... got there sat at bar ordered a lite and a double fireball ... thinking a bone in ribeye.. they don't have fireball.... ikr... well ordered bone in medium loaded potato salad ranch extra ranch on the side.... got salad with all the ranch poured on salad ... I like to dip steak in the extra ranch on the SIDE... steak got shoved under my nose a minute after salad got there ... I don't know where Longhorns buys this meat but it ain't a 30.00 bone in.. its thin and tough cooked mostly on one side potato half done.. sorry y'all if I come back I'll get chicken tenders or an appetizer that's what these other folks at the bar got Disappointed I could have gone anywhere read more

Alrighty people. I know this is a chain. I know I know, we want exotic, so do I. When in another element, one has to make due. Dryish counties that close on Sunday's and maybe some Monday's and go hide when the sun goes down, you make do with what you can. I'm glad I did. I got to watch some great games and was well taken care of by Devin even when he was doing the work of other wait staff to keep everything clean and ready to go. When the manager comes out to even help, this dude was working with a smile like a mad man. I got their "specialty" steak ( ooooh secret, got to go to find out), pricey yes, but totally worth it. Got the white cheddar stuffed mushrooms and some Parmesan crusted spinach and a loaded potato. After a couple libations, coming out at 50 was a pleasant surprise. The steak was medium rare as it should be...was I disappointed? Well? The spices used shown through. Should I be upset? No. Getting into it, I both loves the spice and the steak. If your a true fan, just ask for light spice. The spinach was decadent and I even got to try the buttery toasted Brussels as they were brought out on accident. (Thank you free food). Got to say for a chain, it beats the couple I've been to in the area. Steak alone, I ate to the bone (secret tip to what it was). If I could give a negative star I would. My steak was chard on the outside way over cooked and way too much seasoning when it gives me fire mouth that's way too much seasoning and the manager John cooked me a new one but it just was no good after the extremely over seasoned first one. Greatly disappointed. Table was still being cleaned when we got to it. Food all over the floor. Then when we were leaving they vacuumed while I was trying to get up from the table. Server was great. Went by Longhorn Steakhouse in Dothan tonight - first visit in several years and everything was delish! We considered leaving when we first received our menus as I was wanting pasta and it was not available. The General Manager John assured us that he could take care of getting me a pasta dish, and he did! Pasta with a flavorful three cheese sauce, tender broccoli and garlic bread! My husband enjoyed the outlaw ribeye cooked to perfection - tender, juicy and full of flavor. The service was impeccable with waitress, Melina, as well as those who assisted. Visited on 7/10/22. I had the 6oz sirloin which I couldn't eat as it was way too salty. My daughter had the same problem with her shrimp. What little I did eat there I threw up upon arriving back home. My daughter also got sick and now son in law is sick. My first and last visit there. read more

AMAZING SERVICE!! It was their first day back open and they rocked it!! You could tell they didn't have enough staff but you could see the managers on the floor making sure guests had a great experience!! The food was also delicious and came out quick! I had the Red Rock Shrimp, it was my first time having these and is now my go to! The smokey tomato butter is phenomenal! My husband had the New York Strip, it did not disappoint! We were splurging because we found out about our first grand baby. Got a steak and sweet potato and broccoli. My steak was actually cooked perfectly. However it was so peppery my nose started running. I had too give it to my husband after a few bites. And even he said it was peppery and had to get a tea refill. The broccoli was weirdly textured for broccoli. It kept falling apart and tasted like kale with vinegar and too much butter. The sweet potato was small and they put so much butter and cinnamon you could not even taste the potato at all . I should have asked for that on the side. They literally put more cinnamon and sugar and butter on it that you didn't taste sweet potato at all. That was second time I have eaten there and second time I have been disappointed. Haven't eaten Longhorn in a very long time. Someone gifted my wife and I a $25 Longhorn gift card, so we figured we would give it a shot. Called ahead for seating, no problem. Walked in 30 mins later and we were immediately sat, which was great. We both ordered Pinot Noir (the long pour). Came out in no time. Now, let me preface the rest of this review by saying this; To say that I eat steak often, would be an understatement, as my diet consists of mostly red meat. Ribeye (my favorite cut), NY strip, sirloin, fillet, you name it. So I am very familiar with what each of these cuts typically look like. My wife and I both ordered the Delmonico, which is their special cut of ribeye. I ordered mine cooked medium and the wife ordered hers medium-well. Steaks came out in about 20-30 mins. Not too bad considering it was very crowded. Once they sat the plates down, I noticed a huge difference between mine and her steaks. Mine was very clearly a NY Strip and hers was the Delmonico. 2 totally different sizes and cuts of meat. When I brought this to the attention of the server, her response was "well, do you want to taste it?" No, I do not. It was super obvious that it was not my steak. She said she would be right back with the correct steak. Not 2 minutes later, one of the 2 restaurant managers brought me out, get ready for this,....... the EXACT same steak on a much smaller plate... I guess they thought I wouldn't notice? When I pointed out to him that it was the exact same steak on a different plate, he said he was sorry and that the kitchen staff must have done it...Yeah. Sure. They finally brought out the correct steak and the 2nd manager came over to the table to apologize and tried to explain to me that, when they cook the meat to different internal temps, they sometimes cut the meat differently and that may be why they looked the way they did... total lies at this point just to try and cover his butt. He also apologized for my perception of what the meat looked like. AKA, telling me in a very backhanded way that it was all my fault. They treated me like I was an idiot. Definitely will never be back and I don't recommend that ANYONE ever eat here. read more

I will go NOWHERE ELSE for a steak. But I am partial to this place. The steaks are seasoned perfectly. The veggies are top notch. Everything else is off the chain. You can keep the other "traditional" and "local best" steakhouse if you want. I think Longhorns beats them all. read more

Brought my family out for a nice dinner and got the opsite. We paced our order (1805) and after 38 minutes the manager said they were behind and our food would be right out. At 41 minutes our food arrive however they forgot some of our sides. We reminded the waiter and manager but they got busy and forgot 2 sides again. At 1910 the sides finally arrived after flagging down a different waitress. Unacceptable! read more

This is the best steakhouse place in Dothan al. Sadly I had a horrible experience at Texas Roadhouse and left before we were even seated. I walked into this establishment and knew instantly this is the best choice. We were greeted with a great smile and friendly manager she was so sweet and I can not thank her enough. Give her a raise! Traveling for business to Dothan, I had two different ribeye steak dinners over two nights. The first night I ate at Longhorn Steakhouse, the National chain. The second night was at the Old Mill restaurant. I ordered the "Outlaw ribeye" at Longhorn and it was juicy with amazing flavor, I didn't need to add anything to it. The ribeye at Old Mill was thin and not so juicy and I kept adding pepper, salt and eventually steak sauce to try and add flavor. The baked potato at Old Mill came wrapped in aluminum foil and the cheddar cheese was dark and hard, like it wasn't fresh. Sour cream was delivered in a plastic packet, like a fast food ketchup packet. The baked potato at Longhorn was bigger, fresh and had much more taste. The decor at Old Mill is old and very plain. Nothing you would be proud to bring your wife or a date too. They are in desperate need of a Chef Ramsay makeover. The hostess at Old Mill seemed like the teenage daughter of the house greeting you, without a smile, wearing blue jeans, an around the house top and a sweater tied around her waist. There was no ambiance and no music. I primarily listened to a very loud kitchen staff banging pans, laughing and joking. The ambiance at Longhorn was so much better, nice music and nice decor, a more positive and romantic mood. The wait staff at Longhorn was more professional and friendly. On my next visit to Dothan, I will drive past the Old Mill on my way back to the Longhorn. read more

Overall, I almost always have a pleasant experience at Longhorn. Today, some issues with the cook on a steak but the manager made it a priority to make it right. Our sever left quite a bit to be desired. If you come here sit bar side and ask for "RYAN". He is usually the bartender and an awesome server. Resturant was busy with lunch crowd but got a table quickly. Simple menu with lunch items. A lot of items on the menu, but limited Steak items especially for Steak House.
