    Grilled shrimp

My meal was mediocre. There was nothing crispy about the crispy Brussel sprouts other than the look & the shrimp were salty & rubbery. The only reason I eat that many shrimp was because I didn't want take the chance of the kitchen putting them on another person's plate. My mom's Parmesan garlic chicken & ribs were very good. Our server was excellent- LaTeisha B

Walked in and waited 25 minutes before we even got a drink we ordered our food right away because of how long it already took it was at least another 15 minutes before bread came out We ordered two filet mignon's Our food took a long time it finally came out and it was covered in way too much seasoning to the point it was burning our mouth and we couldn't take more than two bites we sent it back again it took a while , at this point we had been there an hour and a half steaks came raw ... we finally got fed up and said we just wanted to leave We saw multiple tables sending their food back Management really needs to do something you're expecting people to pay $30 for a steak I will say the staff was friendly but even they were frustrated with the kitchen a lot of people looked disappointed and annoyed

In all of my years, I've never tried Longhorn Steakhouse, but I must say, for the first time it was a blast! I would like to say thank you to Mandy L for exhibiting great customer service skills and being a genuine person/bartender. She made several suggestions that were ALL top and 5 Star if you ask me! For starters, she recommended a side of ranch and a side of balsamic vinaigrette and the mixture was something WE should coin! **hint hint** I ordered the Flo Filet Medium and it was amazing! The seasoning was explicit-no sauce needed. I also had a loaded baked potato on the side which I'll take home for a snack and a glass of Pinot Noir. Before pouring a full glass, she made sure I would like it by giving a small sample and I did, hence I chose a long pour. The vibe was just right! A nice cozy ambiance speaking with a fellow retiree... Go Air Force! If you're in town or on the East Coast, I would highly recommend taking a seat at the Longhorn Steakhouse! Until next time...Cheers! and again, thanks Mandy!

They were also out of the snake river Wagyu ribeye and strip steak. We were told they didn't receive a shipment of meat. The food was really good regardless of that, luckily they had three orders of lamb chops left so some of us ordered the rest of that. I like that when you order a steak it already comes with two sides. Other steakhouses you would have to order sides à la carte. The cocktails were amazing and service was great. Only thing that was a little weird was we had two birthdays and asked the manager if they happened to do a complimentary birthday dessert or something for the two birthday guest. He responded politely with we don't do any birthday desserts but you can order champagne since it's a celebration. Mind you it's a party of 12 and each couple's bill was at least 250+. Nonetheless, we had a great time and money was well spent, definitely worth trying out!

The restaurant is beautifully designed, and the staff provided professional, attentive, and friendly service throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. While everything was presented well, the flavors were somewhat bland and lacked the level of taste and quality we anticipated for the price point. Given what we spent, we felt we could have received a more memorable dining experience elsewhere, such as Eddie V's, where both the atmosphere and flavor profile tend to align with the premium cost. Overall, the service and ambiance were highlights of the evening, but the food itself fell short of delivering the complete upscale dining experience we were expecting

IDK, but we dined here with friends for NYE. I believe this spot is usually closed on Tuesdays, but opened the past two Tuesdays because of the holidays, I suppose. Nevertheless, I called about 5 days prior to Tuesday and secured a reservation for 6. We arrived at the time and were seated immediately. Our waitress, Alana (spelling) was attentive and super sweet. Overall, the guests were pleased with their meals. All except me :( I ordered the fish of the day, salmon over pasta. The salmon was severely under cooked. I returned it. They prepared the dish again, this time, scales were still on the bottom of my fish. Crazy :( I opted to not eat anything. So this night was a liquid dinner. I ordered a fresh margarita with my choice of tequila. Three margaritas later - it wasn't food, but the bartender was on point! And I was full of those drinks and a few celery stalks from my husband's wing app. I would definitely return and sit and bar. This explained why the bar was so packed all night. The drinks were bomb :) Parking, I only saw street parking. Not sure if other parking is available, but this was like our fifth time visiting this area of Hampton and parking has never been an issue. Check them out at your own risk. Have fun and enjoy life :)

I started with the buffalo chicken mozzarella sticks, but they weren't for me so I sent them back. I ended up getting the blackened chicken flatbread, which was actually really good and full of flavor. A few others in my group had mixed experiences too--my cousin ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts and didn't like them, and my daughter tried the crab cake appetizer. She said the flavor was great, but the texture was too mushy inside. My sister, on the other hand, enjoyed her shrimp appetizer and said the mac and cheese egg rolls were just okay. One thing we all agreed on--the drinks were AMAZING. Definitely strong and well-made, they did not disappoint at all. The overall vibe of the restaurant is nice, especially being in the Oyster Point area. It's a great spot to hang out on a Saturday night. Not sure if I'd rush back, but it was a decent experience.

We started with drinks and ordered a mimosa flight (around $36) with four different flavors--mango, passion fruit, and a couple lemon-based ones. My friend also got a lavender mimosa. Individual mimosas were about $12 each, which is a little pricey but pretty typical for brunch. For food, we tried several items. The shrimp and grits were good, but not the best I've had. The bell peppers were cut pretty large, which I didn't love, but overall it was good. We also ordered the Biscoff pancakes. The flavor was fine, but the texture was not it. They looked thin but were actually really dense and thick. We prefer lighter, fluffier pancakes, so these were a miss. Honestly, you kind of needed something like milk to get through them because they were that heavy. The Nana's Chicken plate was good, solid, no complaints. It was almost like a sampler platter which I enjoyed. The turkey sausage was also good. The deviled eggs, though, were very underwhelming. They honestly just tasted like plain eggs nothing special. The highlight of the meal was definitely the short rib bruschetta. It was delicious and easily the best thing we had. My only note would be that there were a lot of tomatoes I would've preferred a little less, but overall it was really, really good. Service was fine. Our waitress was nice, but nothing stood out, it was standard service. The atmosphere was also nice. We sat at a high-top table; the space looks a little small, but there's actually enough room to move around. It wasn't too loud or too quiet and the food presentation was nice as well. One thing to note is that the menu seems to change. My friends had been here about seven months ago and said the previous menu was amazing, everything they had before was delicious. This time around, though, it just wasn't giving the same experience. If this had been their first visit, they probably wouldn't have come back. Overall, I'd say Sate was just okay this time around. A decent brunch though. I'd probably wait until they update their menu and maybe give it another try, since it seems like they've done better in the past.

I went in by myself, and they told me I could sit wherever I wanted. Since I was one of the first people in there that day, the bartender/waitress greeted me with so much kindness. She went over some of the specials, and I ended up ordering the Rasta Pasta along with a drink--a Pineapple Upside Down (tea or lemonade, I can't quite remember). Whatever it was, it was delicioso. That drink was a 10/10--I'd go back just for that! When the pasta came out, it was served with garlic toast, and I also ordered some macaroni and cheese. The pasta was flavorful, and honestly, I've been thinking about going back for it again. The mac and cheese wasn't my favorite, but to be fair, I prefer baked, homemade macaroni & cheese--so that's just me, but it was good. While I was there, I chatted with several of the owners and the cook, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I even learned one of the owners is a veteran. This has been high on my "want to try" for a long time and finally saw an opportunity with an available reservation, went for it and am so happy I did. The owner was chatting with just about everyone and diners were popping over to other tables to say hello, as well. Felt like a very small town. Service was perfect - not overbearing, but perfectly timed for a good flow throughout dinner. Their menu changes often, so some of the items I loved, may not be available - but it does seem like their fried oysters are a mainstay and holy moly, they were delicious. I had one cocktail - I believe it was called Watermelon Sugar. It had vodka, aperol and fresh watermelon. Refreshing and smooth. I tried two apps: the fried oysters and the bao buns. Both were fantastic. Perfectly prepared, so much flavor. I think that next time, I would stick to the appetizer section and try many rather than getting an entree. I got the scallops, which were delicious, but the apps wow-ed me more. Prices aren't low, but you get what you pay for - really high quality dishes with lots of thought and execution embedded. I don't say this lightly - this has been added to my top 10 list in all of Hampton Roads!

The decor gives off major classic American vibes. Plus, right now they are celebrating the U.S. 250th anniversary, so the whole place is decked out in festive, classy decorations. Here are my honest thoughts on the food and experience: The Mains (10/10): We ordered two entrees, and both were incredible. The meat was so tender, juicy, and incredibly easy to chew. The flavors were totally on point. Wings & Fries: The chicken wings were great, and the fries were fried to a perfect golden crisp! My only tiny critique as a foodie is that the fries didn't seem to be fresh-cut from scratch. But they still tasted good! Sauce Heaven: I love that they have a huge variety of sauces right on the table. It gives you so many great options to customize your flavor combinations! The Atmosphere & Service: The waitstaff here are incredibly enthusiastic and energetic! Their warm hospitality completely made up for the fact that the AC was blasting a little too cold inside. One tiny tip for photo takers: The lighting at the tables is a bit on the dimmer side, so it's a little hard to capture the true, mouth-watering color of the grilled food on camera. The meal was served hot and ready and tasted great. And having the cranberry coulis as a dipping sauce really added some taste. My only gripe with the sandwich was the amount of protein. Inside, the decor is perfect. From the bar to the dining area, everything was spotless. You can tell the staff really cares about keeping the place tidy. And they had New Orleans-style music playing through the sound system. Very relaxing. After looking through the menu, I was ready to place my order. I chose their fish special, which was salmon with veggies and a sauce (forgot the name). This dish was very good. It was probably the best cooked salmon I've ever had. When you see seafood with the perfect crust and a lot of flavor, you're in heaven. It did have a small bone and I felt it lacked the amount of squash and zucchini, but again, a wonderful meal. There was one situation which resulted in only a 4-star review. Out of curiousity, I saw on Facebook that they offered $5 discounts.
