We ate dinner at this Longhorn on Friday October 12, 2018. We, as usual, sat at the bar. Our bartender Megan, was clearly distracted by some company drama. She was so to the point that while in the middle of taking our order she had to turn away and talk to a co-worker. Then re-take our order. This was T 8:30PM. After taking our order she came back to tell us they ran out of Prime Rib at 6:00PM!! (She didn't know this when taking the order???) This was not her fault, but her being distracted was annoying. Started off with the FREE app- thanks LongHorn email sign up! Chicken fajita roll ups. Man they loaded it! Wasn't a fan of the free bread- Outback has much better. Then for the meals. Fiancee's meal came with caesar salad side it was HUGE! His peppercorn steak and potatoes was quite yummy. I ordered the tavernhouse sandwhich. I am not a huge fan of well done meat- and that is the only choice for the sirloin here. The beer cheese sauce is not the best either- very light. Sorry to say but this location was just a mess. We were quoted5-10 minute wait and waited 15. No biggie. We were seated at a booth 2 rows over from the bar. There was a football game and the patrons at the bar were yelling and screaming and pounding their hands on the bar! It a bit much for a steakhouse. The vibe was more sports bar. We weren't expecting nor in the mood for all that noise. When our server greeted us we told her it was too loud and would they be able to move us to a table a little farther from the noise. She told us we could go back up front and put our name back on the wait list and wait for another table further from the bar to open up. I asked if there's anyway the manager could ask the bar guests to keep it down. She responded I don't hear anything. Ok! We went back to the hostess stand and put our name back on the wait list. Two tables were sat while we waited. a few minutes later we were brought to a booth and told that our server Kennedy would be taking great care of us. After about 4 minutes we were greeted by Kennedy, we ordered 2 waters and a 9oz glass of Robert Mondavi Cabernet. About 2-3 minutes after she came to tell me "we don't have that wine here, we only have cellars and mondavi" sigh "yes, I ordered the Robert MONDAVI Cabernet (I was polite but did emphasize mondavi) she said oh ok brb. 12 mins go by, no water, no wine, no Kennedy. We've been sitting 15-18 minutes and still don't even have water. We decide to leave. As we're leaving the hostesses are clearing a table. I stop to tell them we were leaving are server didn't come with our drinks and were tired of waiting. They just look at me. I ask if there's a manager I could speak with. My husband don't bother he probably won't even come talk to us, let's go. He heads for the lobby. I wait for the manager. A few minutes go by and my husband comes to retrieve me. He says why are you waiting no ones coming. The hostess tells us he's behind the bar making drinks he'll be over when he gets s minute. ok, that's enough for me. We left. Where to begin.. Our 15 minute wait turned into a 35min wait. The bread took so long to come out. Food was o.k. Service was poor, our server forgot to get our bread, A1 and a drink that was ordered, we had to ask Multiple times which she was very apologetic every time. Food was brought to the wrong table.. This my first time here I was greeted and sat at the bar ...the bartender Lindsey was very sweet and attentive. The manager Joyce was also very involved in everything which I appreciated she even helped me put together a delicious lunch. I will never go to the Hampton Longhorn Steakhouse again. My girlfriend and I went in for dinner and it was a total let down. We started with the spicy chicken wraps as an app and they tasted like taquitos from the freezer. I ordered one of the jalapeño topped steaks medium and my girlfriend ordered a salad. After waiting 45 minutes the food arrived. My server asked me to cut into the steak to make sure it was cooked right. As I began cutting it was easy to notice how tough the steak was and well overlooked. The server saw the browned middle and said I'm sorry that's extremely overcooked. Ill have it remade. (This happens and at this point I'm still patient) After 20 minutes the manager comes over and says I'm sorry for the wait I'm keeping my eyes peeled and pressing them to hurry the steak...another ten minutes go by and still no steak. Other tables are getting food which assured me the cooks were still working. So after thirty minutes I told them not to worry about bringing the steak just bring the check for the other food. The server brought a check for the app my gf's house salad and my coke for 17.22...We paid and left and will never return. This restaurant won't be open a year. read more

We went to this place on Saturday night for a long overdue family dinner. There were 7 of us. We've lost so many family members that anytime we can get together it's special. My sister called to make a reservation but was told they don't take them. Apparently, they do allow call ahead seating an hour before. My sister got off the phone before they could tell her. I arrived early and was told 30-40 minutes. She said she had another large party expected. The hostess offered to get the manager. I waited until everyone had shown up and then asked for the manager. He was so nice about our mistake and found us a table in a few minutes. Our waitress was awesome. The staff was courteous. The food was delicious. Food was cooked perfectly (fried pickles app was large and had a little bite; lobster/shrimp chowder is a definite especially on cold days; half-rack baby backs were really meaty with a bit of smoke; my 12 oz. ribeye was a perfect med-rare, and well seasoned. We came here on a Saturday night, we were seated promptly and greeted by our waiter. We ordered two kids meals, the sirloin steak and the Parmesan crusted chicken with a loaded potato, macaroni and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes. Sadly, the food was extremely bland and to sum it up terribly disappointing. The warm bread was the best part of the meal. The sirloin was good but everything else was a no go. The macaroni and cheese was burned at the top and served in a small dish I literally could not eat any of this. The chicken had literally NO seasoning, the topping tasted like mayonnaise and the bottom of the chicken was over cooked. I requested my baked potato with no sour cream and it was served with sour cream. The part I ate around it was good once you add salt. My daughters cheese burger was burnt so she didn't eat and my other daughter turned away their Kraft macaroni and cheese which should tell you had bad it was when a kid who loves Mac and cheese turns it down.this was my first visit to LongHorn and I won't be returning read more

This place is ridiculous. After a 20 minute wait, we were forced to wait an HOUR for our food. Our order was not complicated at all, for example: My grandmother ordered a PLAIN baked potato, I ordered Mac & Cheese, and my brother ordered a burger. We were not a large party either, and we all ordered our food almost immediately after sitting down, so they had plenty of time to make our food. This has just become my favorite steak house! My first meal here was when my boss took our group here for our Christmas luncheon. I ordered the 7-Pepper Sirloin Salad. It was huge, the greens were fresh and the steak was cooked to perfection, med-rare. Service was a little slow, but our server was very nice. Tonight my husband and I came for our Valentine's Day dinner. I ordered the 6oz. sirloin with grilled shrimp, a house salad, and a side of mashed potatoes. The salad was very fresh, my steak was cooked perfectly, and so were the shrimp. My husband ordered the prime rib with the house salad and baked potato. His prime rib was also cooked perfectly. We were both very happy with our meals, no complaints. I can't resist dessert so I ordered the key lime pie...one word... Delish! Our server was friendly and checked on us often, and if your in the mood for a cocktail I highly recommend the Black and Blue! read more

Awfully bad service and the food was disgusting!!!! So I ordered a sweet potato (the menu states that cinnamon and brown sugar come on it) as well a sweet tea. WELL exhale and shoop shoop. The sweet tea was so sweet that even after diluting it with a half glass of water it still tasted like pure syrup, also the server failed to tell me that they didn't have the cinnamon or brown sugar for my sweet potato, SAD... This was an okay chain restaurant to me. Nothing jumped out as particularly good, but it was enjoyable. The food from their pretty large menu has decent flavor, and the prices are alright. They ran out of one of the standard menu items (not a special) during my visit, which was disappointing. There's a wide variety in the drink menu, with a few unique-seeming cocktails. Been there twice so far. My first server was a bit of a newb and forgot to bring some things but he was very apologetic. Asked for a medium well steak- got a well done. Next visit, seasoned server, same issue with the steak though. Explained it to the server, they fixed it. They hooked us up too. Though the steaks weren't perfect the first time around they made many efforts to rectify things. They were very nice to us. Ultimately the steaks were great. I'm definitely going back. read more

I also had a margarita with some coconut water in it and it came with no salt, no sugar and barely any alcohol in it. I go there for steak and I go there often. Our steak was good, our appetizers and salads were good. Our asparagus was burned pretty badly and yet they served it to us anyway. Our server was bad. We had to flag her down numerous times because she wasn't coming back. We didn't see her for about five minutes after sitting down, and then after she took our drink order, she dropped off our drinks and left quickly before we could let her know we wanted an appetizer. We managed to find her about 20 minutes later and order our appetizer as well as our meals. We had to ask for our salads to be brought to us before our meal; usually they are just brought out. A manager brought our entree, which had clearly been sitting under heat lamps for a while. Longhorn is hit or miss. This location was a miss because of the service. read more

I have eaten here before and had great food and excellent service. Last night, however, we went in at 7:30 with 3 people and were told the wait was 40-50 min. There were three large parties waiting. I saw 3 booths empty and clean perfectly suited for parties of 4 or less. There were two bar-top tables and 5 seats empty at the bar. I asked if we could sit at the bar. The host said we could but it would "quite a while" before we would get waited on. This visit had disaster written all over it, so we left. Customers do not understand a 40-50 min wait when there are empty tables! Seat people. Get them a drink and tell them you'll be with them as soon as possible. read more

About average on this visit for a chain steakhouse. Party of 4 at 615 on a Friday evening and we were sat right away. Not bad there. My parents ordered the shrimp and lobster dip for an appetizer. None of us were impressed with it. I thought it was pretty bland. We had a decent server and are app, salad and steaks were served at appropriate intervals. Everybody's steak was cooked to order. I thought my seasoning was a little strong and I love salt and pepper. My mom didn't really enjoy her vegetable medley she thought it was bland and mushy. My mashed potatoes were so so. I think they were real but the taste and texture seemed instant to me. I might go back if other folks want to but I know some other great local places if I want a good steak. read more

I really must say that the food I had for dinner was really good. The $12.99 3 course steak dinner had a lot to offer. There are a couple of things that brought it down a star for me. The peach iced tea was really sweet. Now I have a sweet tooth, but it was like the whole syrup bottle fell into the glass. Also, the desserts are really sweet also.
