The food is good although the side portions when you order a meal are really inadequate, very small scoops similar to what is usually found on a child's plate elsewhere. Especially if you order as takeout then it's less than a couple of tablespoons and based on the total price of the meal it's just not worth the money. Otherwise, you'd see me combating my vehicular hypochondria more often by hitting the links at Tony's. Is your regular cafeteria, point-n-get kinda place. Pinto whistleberries are very good; no bacon or cilantro, but they are cooked al-dente. I know about frijoles man, and Tony's got some Mexican mamma boiling those pintos in a big clay pot, I bet. Brisket is juicy, tender, not too charcolized on the outside. Bar-B-Que is all about the type of wood you use to smoke the brisket. Like Pappas bbq they (Tonys) follow the same rule of charging you a lot of money for very thin slices of Brisket and links. The place is clean and service friendly they have good ribs and sides along with cobbler. I have never ordered the chicken so I cannot tell you about it. The Brisket is good - not great. It is "ok" as Q places go and not as expensive as some but they need to be a little more generous with the cuts of Q. I have never had steak at this location so nothing to share there.
