I ordered a small meal online for curbside pickup this evening. I waited over the 25 minutes that was promised and never received the order. I saw other people who came after me receiving their order but I didn't receive mine. I finally went inside the restaurant and asked takeout hostess why I didn't receive my order. She got manager who looked for the order and finally brought it to me The bread was hard and burnt. The hamburger was overcooked. It tasted like it had been sitting on the shelf for a while. The fries were warm but not hot. I threw away the hamburger bun. It was poor service and the food quality was mediocre. read more

I haven't been to LongHorn in a really long time, but we decided to go for lunch today and it was such a great experience! I ordered the Renegade steak with a baked potato and Caesar salad, everything was delicious. I even asked for a thicker cut of the Renegade filet, and it came out cooked perfectly. My husband got the burger and really enjoyed it too. The service was excellent, and honestly, when we want steak we usually go into the city or cook it ourselves at home, but this was perfect for a local steak lunch. Today was lunch at LongHorn Steakhouse at Cobb Place Blvd. Kennesaw GA, off Barrett Parkway. They say "You Can't Fake Steak" and apparently you can't fake chicken either. I wanted to try something new so on a whim I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries and it was off the chain!! Crispy, juicy, cooked to perfection on a delicious bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. At $9.99 for the chicken sandwich about the same as fast food but oh so much more! The services were ok. They would not let us seat down until all of our party was present. The food was good.

First our server Karen was a delight. Joyful, funny and went above and beyond. Our food was excellent. My wife had the salmon and it was the best she has ever had. I love a good burger and a steakhouse is the place to go for quality meat. Our martinis were excellent. Karen offered a sample of the beer that I had not heard about. The manager came over to thank us and we bragged on Karen. She then gave us litany of how many servers who had been there for years, some even decades. That is a sign of a wonderful boss, a happy staff and that is what makes for a wonderful dining experience. read more

Today my coworker and I ordered lunch for curbside pickup. The order confirmation said it would be ready at 12:30, and I even received a check-in message at 12:20. However, no one ever came out to the pickup parking lot. I waited until almost 1:00 PM, nearly 30 minutes past the ready time, before going inside to ask about my order. When I went in, I spoke to an older blonde waitress who was not welcoming and had a poor attitude. I explained the situation, but she dismissed my concern and asked someone else to help me, even though my food still wasn't ready. Thankfully, a short-haired woman stepped in and was very kind and helpful, the only positive part of the experience. My lunch wasn't ready until about 45 minutes after the scheduled time. The most frustrating part is that I spent my entire lunch break waiting, and no one ever called or texted to let me know the order was delayed. I understand lunchtime can be busy, but communication is essential, especially when curbside pickup is offered for people on a tight schedule. Since no one came out with my order, I had no choice but to go inside and ask. Better communication and attention to curbside customers would make a big difference. read more

My husband and I decided to dine here on a Thursday night. We sat at the bar so we could watch the game. The staff was friendly and the bartender was attentive. We both ordered margaritas. He had the mango and I had the strawberry longpour, which for $13.49 was equivalent to 2 glasses. Our drinks were excellent and they even have the calories for each item on the menu so you can make an informed decision while ordering. The food was ok, I had the LongHorn Salmon with a side Ceasar Salad. The Salad was the star of my meal, the lettuce was fresh and the Ceasar dressing was tasty, the Salmon had a weird aftertaste and due to that, I did not enjoy it. I visit this location often without issue but today I was just floored by the customer service. I placed an online order and I waited in my car for 30 mins past the stated pick up time. When I inquired, I was told it would be another 20-30 mins. When I asked why no one informed me, I was ignored. I quickly requested a refund and then I couldn't get a receipt for my cancelled transaction. Ridiculous! I immediately ordered from Texas Roadhouse for the first time without issue. The black host, with dreads, proceeded to clean tables and seat both of the black party's before me and forced me to wait over 30 minutes for a table. The white hostess female quit looking at me after about 15-minutes. She had reddish hair. Then the food took over an hour, and was improperly cooked. The Brussels sprouts had a stem that stabbed me in the mouth...but the manager was obviously on pain pills and drinking, so I gave up even talking to him. I find this to be the best of the steakhouse chains in the Marietta/Kennesaw area. I recommend the NY Strip--but ask them to cook it on the flat top instead of the fire grill. I think this gives the steak a much more classic steakhouse flavor. If I want a fire grilled steak, I can do that easily on my deck. read more

[Food] The New York Strip was great, but not the best time I had it at this other location. It was perfectly cooked medium rare, just as I asked! This is the new location on Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW, close to all the shopping areas nearby. The driveway and parking area is newly paved, brand new just like this location. The only complaints I have is the sizes of parking spots. Compared to other restaurants, the parking spots here are way too narrow. Yes, they have a lot of parking available, but I don't think trucks or mini vans could fit in those tight spots. The restaurant has a different vibe of decorations, very neat. All the areas are very new and clean. The service and food quality was great that night. The manager was walking around and making sure their food and service is meeting everyone's standards. In the mood for a good steak tonight, so we came to the new Longhorn. We were ahead of the dinner rush so we were seated right away. Our server, Gwen, was great - friendly and attentive. My steak was good perfectly and the seasoning was delicious. I got the spaghetti squash as my side and was pleasantly surprised at how yummy it was! We split the key lime jar for dessert. All in all a satisfying and tasty dinner! My only negative was in regard to the prices which I felt were in the high side. Aside from that I highly recommend this location! Two tips: 1.
