Sometimes I crave a steak but don't want to eat in and definitely don't want to cook. I love Longhorn for these times. There aren't many steak houses in this town so Longhorn is the obvious choice. I love that I can get my food to go and the quality and portions are exactly how it would be if I ate in. Their fresh veggies, bread, strawberry salad, and spicy shrimp appetizer are must gets! Everything else is good too, but these menu items are my favorites! Longhorn packages everything so well and individual and ordering online is a snap! Decided to order a steak dinner for Veterans day & my 20 years of service. Its been awhile since I had Longhorn, and in the past the food was pretty good. Tonight I ordered online and arrived when the order was to be ready. The appetizer was COLD and not at all crispy. When I mentioned it to the To Go person he just apologized. Then I tasted the 'new' crispy brussell sprouts which were also ice cold and tasted burned and over saturated in oil. I paid and decided I'd just heat the food at home. The lobster tail smelled horrible and had a very fishy gross taste. the baked potato was covered in butter and also very cold. The mushrooms were cold and tasted absolutely horrible. The Flo's fillet was okay, but also very cold. Overall, I have to say I am so disappointed and will not be back. read more

On June 22, 2022, I stayed at a hotel within walking distance to Longhorns. I called to place a pick up order at around 9:40PM and they close at 10:00PM. I called the restaurant and pressed the selection for pick up and was hung up on three times. I walked to the restaurant and asked a very nice hostess if I could place a to go order. She walked behind the bar and asked Hannah if I could place a to go order. Hannah was extremely rude to this poor hostess and I could tell she did not want to help. So I placed my order of two loaded potato soup's a side salad and bread. I observed Hannah for the few minutes that it took for my food to be ready and she seemed extremely miserable and treated the younger people that work there so bad. The bar was also a huge mess. I wouldn't go back to this restaurant nor recommend it just because of her attitude alone. I recommend management really watch what she's doing. read more

45 minute wait yet I walk to the restroom and count 9 empty dirty tables. Once we were sitting we continue to watch several empty tables sit while a slew of folks wait. Napkins, utensils on the floor, had to ask for kids menus and crayons. Appetizer was dropped and the runner disappeared before we could ask a question. Food was as expected. There is one thing constant about this chain that has held true no matter what city I have tried them in and it is that they refuse to season their steaks. I love Longhouse for lunch, and they make one of the best hamburgers around, but to spend any amount of money on any of their steaks is a waste of good money! I would suggest the Prime Rib sandwich with Lobster and Shrimp chowder, but a sirloin or a New York Strip is going to taste bland and not worth the aggravation. The service is great and the people can only serve what they have to serve, but for a steakhouse, this one (chain) needs a lot of improvement. The bottom line is that the steak at this location taste as bland as the same steak at any other location. read more

So, we decided to come here as a family. Three adults ordered baked potatoes with their meals. All three of the potatoes were cold in the middle. Cold enough for the butter to not melt. We pointed it out to the manager. She explained that she found the oven had been accidentally turned off. They finally brought out potatoes after we were finished with our entrees. As compensation for the confusion, we were offered a desert. When we told them two different desserts, we were told that only one dessert would be offered. Poor service! read more

When she started with honey, darling, and dear, I had to make sure I hadn't gone to Waffle House. She had taken so long to make her first appearance that I already knew what I wanted. So, I went ahead and ordered. I got my salad and a little while later I got my steak. I had asked for some bread but hadn't gotten it. She dropped off the steak and just walked off not asking if it looked ok or if I needed anything. When I tasted the steak it was cold. I figured I'd wait until she brought the bread. After she had walked past my table many times to refill the table beside me, drinks and bring their bread, I figured I'd just eat it cold. She walked by several more times looking at my empty drink and never offered a refill nor stopped to ask how the food was. She did however stop at the tables beside me and behind me. I won't be going back to this location. If I want steak I will go to the ones in Columbus or Newnan. Oh yeah and the greeter also said acknowledged me and others when leaving. It is starting to be a staple place for me when I am traveling and more and more little cities have one. Thankfully they have all been decent places for a steak, Today's service was a bit slow, but the food, which I had a burger - was cooked my way even though they said they wouldn't cook it medium rare. It was a lunch and it was a basic lunch. The place was fairly busy, it was clean and we were in and out long before our lunch hour was over with. I'm guessing you need to be a local to get adequate service. I sat at the bar and was ignored by both bartenders for almost 10 minutes. They looked at me and walked right past me. Meanwhile two separate parties bellied up to the bar and were both greeted by the bartenders on a first name basis. I travel extensively and enjoy eating at Longhorn Steakhouse across the country. I'll remove Lagrange Georgia from my list of restaurants unless or until I move here and become a local. On a side note, the food was as I expected. Delicious. I spent almost $50.00 by myself. Two beers, pork chops and cheesecake. It seemed a bit more expensive than other Longhorn Steakhouse's I've eaten at in the past. ( I went to one in Fort Lauderdale about two weeks and received excellent service). NO SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY HERE. I wanted to stop by and speak to the Manager on my way out however he was busy attending to a large group of patrons who seemed to be losing their patience waiting for a table. The bartenders offered no bread. They did at least as possible to get me served. I still tipped 15%, I usually tip 20%. The devil on my left shoulder wanted to give less however my father who worked in the retail food industry all his life (God rest his soul) tought be better than that. I won't be back. read more

Totally embarrassed by 2 managers getting drunk and acting like idiots. Very embarrassing on the staff and other patrons. When we first arrived it took the hostess quite a while to seat us. But that's probably my own fault since we showed up 30 mins before closing and she had to check if we could still be seated. The decoration as you can imagine is cowboy/country but nicely done and very slightly dimmed lighting. Comfortable booths. The waitress was great, She took care of us, gave us the right amount of time, brought me a to-go tea and took care of everything without bothering us too much. I ordered a sirlon, which was absolutely delicious. Pretty good compliment from a person that doesn't care to eat steak very often. The person I was with ordered a much bigger/more expensive steak which I tried a piece of and I can say (and he agreed) that mine was much much better. It was plenty of food and I had to bring home left overs. The fries were just regular fries, nothing speacial. But the waitress did bring a bread basket to the table which was great. And I loved the sweet tea! I think we ended up getting out of there with 45 less dollars in our pockets. Had like 3 people checking/waiting on me. The steak was delicious, a tad over cooked. The loaded potato was hardly loaded, wish my phone hadn't died and I could've taken a pic. I'd rather u offer a plain potato and pay $1 more for good amount of toppings. The salad was good, I've been to one of these joints other places and the salads were a little larger. I picked my dressing poorly so it wasn't that good to me, honey mustard maybe next time. The key lime pie was not that good to me and I was a little disappointed.
