When did this get here? Saturday, I was leaving getting new tires and starving. Never noticed this Longhorn off Roswell Rd in East Cobb. Pleasant surprise!! My mom in law has been raving about their Lunch Fried Chicken sandwich. Let's give it a try, I thought. Hostess was friendly and seated me immediately. I almost left after sitting 10 minutes with no server introduction. I have a 10 to 15 minute wait before I leave no matter how hungry I am. Quality service is important to me. Moving on, server said not told I was in section right away. She took my drink and food order immediately. She came right back with my sweet tea and complimentary bread and butter. Again, I love sweet tea. Longhorn consistency with sweet tea is 12/10!! I can always count on that. My food came out in reasonable time. Happy the chicken breast had been thinned out so not a thick cut. The chicken was well seasoned. The sandwich was a nice size so cut in half. I opted for honey mustard instead of ranch on it. Love their honey mustard. My semi loaded baked potato was good. I get butter, cheese and sour cream. Server was on point! She kept checking on me and refilling my tea. Today me and my mom went to long horn steakhouse for lunch/dinner. We had a lot of food and all of it was overall really good! I enjoyed the bread and chowder, I loved the stuffed mushrooms and I adored the french fries and baked potato my mom let me have, and I enjoyed the ceaser salad as one of my sides. I also enjoyed the rice served with my main course which is where things start going downhill. The salmon did not have any teriyaki sauce and was extremely chewy and almost flavorless! Ended up not eating it because it was just way too chewy and plain. The service was amazing however and our server was very kind and let us order for about 10 minutes! Overall great experience and I enjoyed all the decorations around the restaurant. I just did not enjoy the salmon at all. I'm going back for sure but will never order the salmon again! read more

We visited this location for the first time last evening. Without a reservation, we had a forty-five minute wait - which was only forty minutes our server was quite good on a very busy night. I ordered a full rack of bbq ribs with a side of broccoli and a Caesar salad. My wife chose salmon and a sweet potato with butter and sugar and a mixed salad. Horrid experience after years of loyalty. 20 minutes for a drink? Then they started vacuuming next to my table and the entire area when our food finally arrived. It was only 8:30 not the close. I had to get the manager who is no manager she ended up being mad at me! It spoiled a birthday dinner with my BFF. The manager should be on the floor, not hiding in the kitchen as this woman was. If I could give this place - stars I would . The side Caesar salad was wilted and old. As if it had been sitting for a few hours/days possibly . (Inedible so now I've just wasted hard earned money ) And condiments were missing and the food was hard as a rock . I was a bit nervous to come here after reading some of the reviews on Yelp, but my party of 8 and I had a terrific experience. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and our server Kay went above and beyond making sure our orders were correct and that our food arrived in a timely manner. Soup was lukewarm. Potato came after I finished my soup. Potato was not hot, butter would not even melt. Other members of my group had fries. Asked 3 times for Ketchup. Finally had to get up and get myself. Staff was plentiful, but just stood around talking instead of waiting on customers. No one came and checked on how our meal was. Had Longhorn ordered for my job and several people had their side dishes missing. No where to be found. I ordered a the LH burger medium. It was medium until you get to the center and then it was definitely medium rare. And the burger itself had a weird texture. It started to feel mushy, not juicy but mushy and crumbly. Don't know how those two even work together. Anyway, food wasn't all that anyway so probably won't be back to this location. The only good thing was that they brought the order out in a timely manner but then again, the order was messed up so what does that matter. read more

This is the second time I have written a bad review for this restaurant. I go there about once a month to take my mom to lunch. Since they have opened the service has been poor. I keep giving them a chance because the food is good. The service is very slow and inconsistent. Today the server left us sitting there with no service. Twice I had to ask another server for help. Our server was still very slow in responding to us. I usually don't write bad reviews, but the bad service is constant. I blame the manager. It is the same manager that has been there throughout the bad service. He needs to care about his customers more and train his servers better. read more

This is a great LongHorn location. I dined here on a Thursday night and they were super busy. Our server was so kind and prompt. I tried the Parmesan Crust add-on on the Flo's Filet and it made it 100x better! Definitely get the parmesan crust on your steak! The salads and soups and baked potatoes were also great. My only complaint is that the salads, bread, and entrees all came out at once, but it's okay. I look forward to dining here again. read more

More like a 2.5 star rating, we live nearby and come here every once in a while. Food is average, mac and cheese is always amazing. Service is usually pretty good. This time around I ordered a ribeye medium rare and it came out completely undercooked and worse than rare but our waiter James took care of it no questions asked. This was probably the third time I've had this happen at this location, so at least they're consistent. My steak came back perfect and I enjoyed it very much. I would say our visit was very average. I forgot to mention we didn't get silver ware until well after we got our food, so I stared sadly at what I figured was my perfectly cooked steak, even though it was raw. All in all.... meh experience. P.s. there were so many older people screaming at our waiter right next to us so he was under a lot of stress and they made our visit less enjoyable. Long time patron of Longhorn; first time reviewing. This was the best Longhorn experience I've ever had. I was kind of dreading this meal and went in fully expecting poor service in a freezing cold restaurant with mediocre food, as that had been my experience with Longhorns in the past decade. Much to my surprise, our server, Stephen C., gave us top-tier service from the start. The bread was warm, the chicken tendies were a 10/10, and he was still smiling even after being repeatedly harassed by my 2 year old nephew who kept touching him and calling him "Daddy!" I wish I could say the same about the kitchen or the facilities. first, the AC was broken (our waiter told us it had caught fire the day before), and it was uncomfortably hot inside. the kitchen disappointed first by not putting enough dressing on our Caesar salads (we had to order extra, which our waiter was happy to oblige). the steak that was sent back as overcooked? it came back undercooked, almost raw in parts. we took it home to cook a bit more. Everything about this location was bad. The staff clearly has some tension and drama to work through. I'm sorry if you guys don't like each other, but I don't care enough to hear about it while dining out. And how looking does it take for a server to be assigned to us and take a drink order? I'm guessing nothing I ate was remotely close to being fresh. My fiance ordered a half rack of ribs and I got a 16oz prime rib. We also ordered fried pickles for an appetizer. Do you know what the best part of our meal was? My diet coke. I'm convinced my prime rib was on the verge of going bad and my fiance's ribs were dry, chewy, and only half of the half was edible. He was training a girl who I believe was Kelsey & she was wonderful too! He made sure our drinks were always filled & our food was out promptly! We started with the firecracker chicken wraps! Y'all gotta try them! They are EVERYTHING! That avocado ranch dip is my jam! Also I can't believe how awesome their French onion soup is! I order it EVERY single time I go!
