Just finished eating there. Will not be going back. Dined early: 4:15 dinning room rather empty. Asked for uncrowded seating - seated with the few diners that were there. Order a Scotch: Glenlivet single with 2 cubes of ice - served a double of Cutty Sark, no ice. Ordered a Steak: Ribeye, medium rare. Was served a Ribeye that was RARE and Sinewy. Waitress was inattentive. WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I have better steak at home! read more

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived and the couple in front of us at the hostess stand was very upset and said "hell with it". Oh my. We waited a few more minutes and were finally acknowledged and told that tables were being cleared for us. It took a short time and we were seated. I ordered a Blue Moon draft beer and a short time later the serve came by and said they were out of draft and bottle. I settled for something else. Pretty good food. My favorite part of the meal is the pecan-strawberry salad! With your meal they allow you to upgrade from the regular salad for a small price, but it is definetly worth the upgrade. Steaks have just been ok. read more

Service was bad, we ate here at 3pm when it's not busy and they couldn't handle 2 orders.... We ordered ribs and steak, waited 20min, steak came and THEN we were told they don't have ribs... So had the shrimp plate, the rest of the family wanted steaks and chicken, and I can't recommend it. I feel that they were comparable to any of the fast food spots for double the cost. Others had the steak fillet and were happy. I had a bite and felt it was marginal as it seemed dry. Just a soso experience, especially for the cost. read more

Worst dinning experience!! We were there for an hour and 1/2 and whenever it's our time to go and a waiter's friend came in... They get seated! So if you don't know anyone there, don't go! It doesn't stop there ... Very rude waiters with attitude. Was even embarrassed for them. read more

This location should take some tips from there Bluffton SC location. Some of the servers here are amazing at there job but there are times where the server is so busy that you get no service at all. Last time I visited the server was also running the bar and the Manager was running food. I waited over 40 minutes for my food then had to wait an additional 10 minutes for a drink refill so I could eat my meal. The food was subpar at best. I didn't complain because I did not have the time to wait for them to attempt to correct the meal and hear the people around me complain about there meal I did not feel confident they could fix it. read more

Very average and very slow. Smelled dirty, floors dirty and very slick, silverware on the floor. My fork had gross dried GOP on it. Our bread and salad plates were stacked dirty on our table and they still served dinner plates (manager was serving and we had to actually ask him to clear the stacks of plates). Unimpressed and will never return. Almost $100 for dinner for 5, including low cost entrees and no alcohol - not worth it! Food took over 40 minutes to arrive. Waitress was nice but never refilled our waters. They need to step up their game a lot with all the other choices nearby or they will be closed! read more

I worked at Longhorn for five years, and our managers made sure our tickets didn't hit over 18 minutes. Every time I go to the Pooler location, it is 45 minutes or longer! Completely ridiculous. Managers need to step up and run the restaurant like it should be ran. read more

A very good place for sit in meals, cannot say the same about the take out, I called and order a burger with a side salad and fries, the Sierra chicken, and a Parmesan crust chicken. When I got home with my meal my Burger did not have a bun. read more

We waited an hour to be seated. Server greeted us and took our drink order. Server came back with drinks, and we are ready to order. Cup of french onion soup and the Steak & bacon cheddar melt. Sorry sold out, okay chop steak, sorry sold out. Prime rib? Let me check. Okay good to go. Onion soup was very good, nice flavor, plenty of cheese. Just found out I got the last prime rib, fingers crossed it is not all fat and gristle. Came out looking and tasting delicious, best prime rib cut I have had from them. Although the food was good, I am only giving three stars because I was not in the mood for steak, I just wanted a burger and they were all out. read more

LongHorn steakhouse is good but the service and wait is very long depending on the day you come in on i really like the Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich they cook it to perfection some days they can have good service and some days can be horrible. read more

My wife and I decided to eat at Longhorn's in Pooler, GA, after church today. I've eaten at this restaurant many times in the past and usually find it a "hit & miss" when it comes to service and food quality. Today was definitely a miss. We arrived at the restaurant around 1:15 pm and the first thing I noticed was a putrid smell in the air. I mentioned to my wife that "something in this restaurant stinks" nodded her head in agreement. Fortunately we were seated right away and walked away from the nasty smell that permeated around the check-in station. Our server was a black male whose name I can't recall. It was apparent from the onset that service was going to be iffy, at best. The server appeared to be pre-occupied with something other than waiting tables. He took our order and we received our food in an acceptable amount of time. That was the last we saw of our waiter. He never returned to our table to check on us or to freshen our drinks. I ate the entire meal, a steak and mashed potatoes, with only a half-glass of water. It should be noted that, as usual at this particular restaurant, the steak was overcooked. I have come to understand that if you want your steak cooked medium, you should order it medium-rare. The steak, itself, in addition to being overcooked, was bland to the taste. Honestly, you can get steak this good all day long at Western Sizzlin or Golden Coral at half the price. After eating we sat for about 20 minutes waiting on our bill. When the waiter finally noticed we had completed our meal he came to our table juggling several items and accidentally dropped his cell phone on out table. It became clear to me then the source of his preoccupation. He was involved in a personal exchange on his cell phone. I paid via cash because I did not trust giving my waiter my credit card. My wife and I left the restaurant totally unimpressed and questioning whether we would ever return to Longhorn's in Pooler, GA. Poor service, less than quality food. I was a big fan of the food because it has always been a good place to have a memorable Strip Steak. However Dec. 26 the Steak was only average at best. The service was far worst. We walked into a crowded restaurant waiting to be seated behind a huge birthday party that had been waiting to be seated for over an hour and a half. They had made reservations and noticed others being seated and that the area to accommodate them, was not being prepared to accept them. The establishment appeared to be short handed and I get it that a day after Christmas this can be expected. It appears the Manager may have been assisting, because you could hear that point being made by whom I assumed to be regular patrons. We finally get seated after 40 minutes. (We were told at check in that it could be 35-45 minutes of wait. The 1st 10 minutes we were standing shoulder to shoulder along a wall where you entered the establishment. We grabbed waiting area seats after the large party had finally been moved to their Banquet Table Area). It goes downhill from here. We were seated at a table for our party of 4. With no place settings and given menus and was told by the Server Jacob M.,that he needed to excuse himself 1st and would return to take orders. When he returned to take orders, he also left bread and butter. We reminded him we needed place settings. Then came the drinks. The main courses arrived before the salads. We had to remind Jacob and that he could just box them to go. The main courses were good. I do remember thicker cuts but the group did not complain about the 2 prime ribs and the 2 10 oz strips nor the sides of 3 ea sweet potato casserole and 1 ea. Sweet potato baked. read more
