When you want to change it up and move from the seafood scene this is a good place to go. Staff was friendly and attentive. Plenty of seating and kept clean. They have a full bar as well. The fired pork chon special was good. The rice was delicious. The green beans seemed like they came straight from the can. The biscuit is a pillsbury bisquit. The pulled pork sandwich was a solid choice and the nachos were awesome. Price is right. And lots of options.

Food was delicious, service was good. Kat took care of us. Love the decor funny and cute. Love the hush puppies! The only disappointment that the delicious barbecue sauce didn't match the bottle you can buy from their merchandise. Overall great experience

This was surprisingly very good barbecue. And we even had good service, as well. The restaurant had been recommended to us by our hotel on Tybee Island as worth a drive. So when we arranged to meet up with a (former Yelp) friend driving from South Carolina, I suggested this location as it didn't require her driving all the way to the beach -- and hoped for the best. We each got something different. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich and baked beans; she got roast chicken and potato salad; and I got St. Louis ribs and sweet potato casserole. It was all very good. They enjoyed the sauces on the table -- especially the sweet one and the smoky one. My ribs were so good, I didn't use any sauce. For dessert, there was the banana pudding, ice cream, and peach cobbler. I had the cobbler and it was just okay. My husband had the banana pudding and said it was wonderful. And our friend got to try this locally famous brand of ice cream. After eating so much seafood recently, not only was the barbecue a nice change of pace, but a very good dining experience. And yes, it was "worth the drive".

This was a great place to meet a friend from our Yelp Broward Palm Beach Community. She drove from Margaritaville and we drove from Tybee island. I had the Pulled Pork sandwich with baked beans. Both were very good and with their smoked BBQ sauce, was delicious! For dessert I had some world class Banana pudding! Thank you for a great lunch!

While staying on Tybee, my wife said she wanted some BBQ for lunch, so Wiley's was close and seemed to have a good selection. The restaurant was just opening for the day so it was not busy at yet. The interior is decorated with BBQ contest trophies/ plaques, memorabilia and photos. It was well lit and very clean. Service as very good and helpful. I had the sampler with pulled pork, ribs and sausage all of which were excellent. My wife had the brisket which she really liked. The sides were very good as well especially the red beans and rice. The sauces were all very good as I tried all three on my pulled pork.

Bbq was delicious and super filling. Came with a group and got sat quickly. Place had a few tables taken already but not packed. We ordered different things, brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and different sides and not one complaint. Brisket was super tender and you can add your own bbq sauce. There are 3/4 flavors and they leave the bottles in the table for you to choose. I got the sweet potato casserole and it was sweet, maybe brown sugary, but tasty. The broccoli cheese rice was delicious and tasted as such. All of us had a hard time finishing their food. Friendly staff and decent parking. Price was about $22 per person with a meal and drink. No cornbread unfortunately.

Excellent, yummy to the fullest, I definitely recommend the sampler, it's full of taste, smile, perfection and experience. Love the place and the ambiance. Try the "better than sex" sauce.

Had the special which was a cheesesteak. There may have been 2 ounces of meat on this sandwich. Potato salad was bland.

The dining area appeared dirty and had an unpleasant odor that made us question the overall cleanliness of the establishment. When we walked in, no one greeted us or explained how ordering worked. I asked if we should just sit down and order, and the cashier, a heavy-set woman with dark hair and glasses, simply said, "Sit anywhere." A moment later, my daughter asked the same question and was told, "You order here, then sit." It would have been nice if that had been explained to me the first time. Because of the poor service and first impression, I chose not to order anything. My daughter did order, and unfortunately the food was just as disappointing. It was dry, flavorless, and not worth the price. Between the lack of customer service, poor food quality, and concerning cleanliness issues, this was not a good experience. We won't be returning.

You will not go hungry as the staff are near each table and bringing refills of items needed. Then when you've had your fill, they bring by peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream on top and/or banana pudding! They take cash or check only. They thankfully had an ATM inside. But the man at the cash register said we could leave and go to our own bank if we wanted and come back to pay!! That wouldn't happen at very many places. Southern hospitality, great food, memories- it is all here. Don't miss this place when you come to Savannah!!

I rolled down the windows because I could tell somebody was making BBQ, and the smell made us both perk up. We drove by and said to one another that we should try that sometime, because it smelled amazing, then we made it one street down and both agreed we needed to turn around and try it today. There was free parking at the church across the street, and the second we parked and crossed Waters to check the place out, we were greeted by clouds of decadent-smelling smoke billowing out from the screened porch attached to the building. I told my wife that I hoped we would smell like that smoke all day. The place was packed when we walked in, but it turned out everybody had ordered and was just waiting for their food to come out, so another customer told us to wait by the register, and about 15 minutes later we ordered a large combo plate and were given a ticket with a number to be called out when our food was ready. 10-15 minutes after we ordered, our number was called, and we took our bag (which felt like it weighed 5 lbs) and walked it back to our car across the street. We opened up the container just to get a sample before heading home, and ended up eating nearly the entire meal in the car, trying our best not to spill sauce everywhere but really not caring either way. The combo plate came with two chicken legs, about 3/4 of a rack of pork ribs, a side of baked beans, and two slices of classic white bread. It usually comes with potato salad, too, but neither of us are huge potato salad fans. However, we will try it next time, because I imagine they could put a shoe in a container and it would taste amazing given their cooking skills. The pork ribs were the most tender ribs I've ever had in my life. I've always said that it doesn't matter how easily the meat falls off the bone, but rather how easily it melts in your mouth when you've taken a bite. These ribs melted in your mouth. The chicken was equally delicious. The meat was tender and juicy, and--somehow--there was actually crispy skin on part of it, which had audible crunch when bitten into. The sauce was incredible. You can ask for it to be put on your ribs and chicken, or--like we plan to next time--buy a bottle to go. It's a mix of mustard and vinegar based, which is hands down my favorite. I grew up in upstate SC where you can find both options, but having them all in one was a dream come true. The baked beans were a great, sweet break from the chicken and ribs, and a slice of classic white bread is always great for soaking up extra sauce. I can't recommend this spot enough. Oh, and local, family-owned! We will 1000% be back.

Looking back, we probably should've kept right on walking. We ordered the fried chicken, potato wedges, red rice, New Orleans rice, and cabbage, jalapeno cornbread and pecan cornbread. Unfortunately, the only things we actually enjoyed were the fried chicken and the potato wedges. Once again, it was an epic fail. The cabbage tasted like it had been boiled in plain water with absolutely no seasoning. Both the red rice and the New Orleans rice reminded us of Minute Rice or Uncle Ben's microwavable rice--bland, lacking flavor, and nothing like the rich, seasoned rice dishes we were expecting. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the potato wedges were cooked perfectly, but those two items weren't enough to save the meal. We came hoping for authentic Southern comfort food, but left disappointed. Sadly, this is one restaurant we won't be adding to our list of places to revisit.
