Texas Roadhouse is located next to Red Lobster on Montgomery Crossroads. It has a private parking lot. They also have pickup to go parking in the front of the restaurant. I generally order online or on the phone. Online is the quickest way to order. But if you want to order one of the family meals(they can only be ordered during a holiday) it has to be done on the phone. This is when you need to be prepared for a wait. It can be trying for your patience, heads up. The food is always good. I am a fan of the kids meal. It is the perfect size for me. But when the family meals are available during a holiday(I wish they were available all the time) I order one. It is a great deal.

Fast, friendly service on a busy Tuesday night. Even the manager stopped by to ask if everything was okay. The food car out quick and it was delicious for a reasonable price.

This is my steak kabobs---so delicious. The potato was coated with salt! I loved that! Also so delicious.

Great service. Our server was so sweet. We were greeted and served so promptly. I ordered the steak kabobs which were delicious. Prices are very reasonable.

They brought over a saddle and sang happy birthday.

The best thing about this restaurant is the consistency. We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday and he wanted a good steak diner, and he got it! Cleared his whole plate! The restaurant was busy, but our waitress was AMAZING!!! I think her name was Tory?!? She was very attentive, incredibly kind, and went out of her way to make my dad smile on his birthday. She even brought out the saddle! She had a smile the entire time we were there--more restaurants need servers with her positive energy!

I had a great experience here, initially the plan was to do take out but once I walked in and saw the hot rolls tempting me under the light I had to dine in. It was 8:35 and they closed at 9:30 but were still happy to take us. The hosts and servers were very nice, but the seats and table top was dirty. They were a bit busy so I just cleaned it myself. Our server was honestly, her only flaw was the lack of napkins. Order: Sweet Tea: PERFECT!! Rattlesnake Bites: Hot and pretty good 1/2 slab of ribs with a Cesar salad and loaded baked potato: the ribs were fall off the bone tender, meaty and had a nice flavor, the Cesar was just okay I should've got my dressing on the side and the baked potatoes was loaded. They cooked the steak perfectly and the shrimp, broccoli and rice were enjoyed. The ONLY downside of this visit was that my seating was ducked off in the corner (which I loved) so the fact that a homeless man walked inside around a couple of corners and approached the table asking for money really disturbed me. My heart dropped because I didn't see him coming and he came so close and talked so low. His smell ruined the whole meal for me so I literally didn't eat anything after the salad.

The pick up/to go line has at least a dozen people in it. Where is management? Most of us paid and ordered online. This is absurd!

Had a lovely time on the porch/roof of the Fitzroy. If the weather is good, I highly recommend…read moremaking your reservation on the porch if you can. It was dimly lit and had a warm, inviting atmosphere and our server was awesome! To start, we all got the cucumber blossom cocktail. I got mine with tequila and the server was very knowledgeable about the drinks and the liquors that would work well with each one. We decided the best route for us was to split 2 apps and 2 entrees. For appetizers, we went with the focaccia and the crispy brussel sprouts. Both were AMAZING! I always love bread to start a meal. And the Brussels were nice and soaked in balsamic glaze, which maybe diminished the "crispy" in the title... but I didn't mind because they were delicious. For our entrees, we went with the gnocchi and the catfish served over grits. I would say the standout was the catfish. The gnocchi was good, but not as good as the other dishes we had. Overall we had a great experience splurging a bit on a nice meal. I would definitely recommend getting a reservation on the weekends. They seemed to be busy!

Came here excited for dinner and almost didn't make it past the host stand…read more We were told they were fully booked and asked if we wanted to come back another night -- no mention of a waitlist, no "we can add you just in case," nothing. It felt like a quick dismissal. I had to ask if there was a waitlist, and only then were we told it was about 45 minutes. On top of that, parts of the conversation were directed to my husband rather than me (even though I was the one speaking), which didn't sit right. This interaction was with a hostess [long hair, glasses]. Thankfully, another hostess [short blonde hair, orange pants] stepped in, and they shuffled some tables, and got us seated -- which we really appreciated, especially with a toddler. From there, the experience completely turned around. The ambiance was really cute -- dim lighting with little candles that made it feel cozy and romantic. Our server [tall, muscular] was fantastic and the food was genuinely very good. So here's the takeaway: the kitchen and service once seated are strong, but the first impression at the door needs work. It shouldn't take a second ask to feel like a guest.

Been here for both dinner and lunch. All this said, I think my approach to this review is comprehensive. With regard to food, I think they have a decent (not expansive) selection of food, which I think lends itself to quality. They do most things really well. This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.

I asked Katie the bartender about her martini making skills. She killed it to my specs. I then ordered the blackened medallions and shrimp over linguini. My only complaint is it could have had a more blackened, spicy flavor. However the sauce was similar to a light stroganoff and was very tasty!! And they gave biscuits to snack on!! I saved one for the left over sauce. Atmosphere-5 Food -5 Service-5 (Sorry Katie, that's as high as I can go) Katie was great--attentive without being annoying!! And she's nice!! I accidentally made reservations for Vic's River Grill instead of Vic's on the River (completely my mistake!). Thankfully, Renee, the hostess, was incredibly kind and accommodating. She quickly helped get our group seated in the correct restaurant, and I really appreciated how gracious she was. Our server, Marissa, was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. I can never pass up fried green tomatoes, and these were a great way to start the meal. I also ordered the she-crab soup, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor...definitely one of the highlights of dinner. For my entree, I chose the fried red snapper with collard greens and Parmesan risotto. The snapper was just okay, and while the collard greens were good, the risotto was unfortunately overcooked and had a mushy texture. Although my entree didn't quite wow me, the outstanding hospitality from Renee and Marissa, the charming historic atmosphere, and the beautiful views along the river made it a memorable birthday dinner. I'd happily return for the she-crab soup, fried green tomatoes, and the exceptional service.

Very hard not to make it chewy. Great char and sauce that accompanied it. For entrees, we did the Perloo, an amazing interpretation, and a swordfish. Both dishes were immaculately prepared and perfectly sized. We chose a bottle of Loss and Lehn, something we had never tried before but recommended based on what we had ordered.
