Texas Roadhouse is located next to Red Lobster on Montgomery Crossroads. It has a private parking lot. They also have pickup to go parking in the front of the restaurant. I generally order online or on the phone. Online is the quickest way to order. But if you want to order one of the family meals(they can only be ordered during a holiday) it has to be done on the phone. This is when you need to be prepared for a wait. It can be trying for your patience, heads up. The food is always good. I am a fan of the kids meal. It is the perfect size for me. But when the family meals are available during a holiday(I wish they were available all the time) I order one. It is a great deal. read more

This is the second time I've been to Texas Roadhouse and both times the wait has been long. I was originally told 15/20 minutes and it turned into a 40 minute wait. The waiting area is small so your only two options is waiting outside or waiting in your car. Once we were seated the wait for our server was another 10/15 minutes. By the time he came around we went ahead and ordered our drinks, appetizer, and main. I ordered the salmon with a side caesar salad and seasoned rice while my guest ordered the rib eye with loaded mashed potatoes and veggies. My caesar salad came out first and it was good. We waited about 15 minutes for our server to check on us and he realized we never received our appetizer - the cactus blossom. Thankfully, he was able to run to the back and grab one for us and it was delicious. Hot, seasoned well and the sauce was yummy. Our food arrived shortly afterwards and my guest said his steak was perfectly cooked, however, my salmon and seasoned rice was extremely salty. After such a long wait I didn't want to send my food back and wait another 30 minutes for a fresh piece of salmon. Overall, our experience was okay. It was an extremely busy night when we visited. I think we heard their happy birthday chant 6 times during our meal which led to the slow service. read more

The best thing about this restaurant is the consistency. We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday and he wanted a good steak diner, and he got it! Cleared his whole plate! One thing you can always guarantee at Texas Roadhouse is that you're going to get a consistent meal. We stopped in so I could get some prime rib on my birthday (it's my absolute favorite but I don't eat it too often). We could have gone to a steakhouse but those always seem like a gamble. Why can't you pay for your special to go Order for Tuesday, when you order it. We are elderly and don't use aps nor text, We do like the specials when offered. But may have to quit ordering them. Had to wait an hr. last time when I went to pick up due to not paying a head of time. It would be more convenient if you would let people pay by card when they place their order. Very disappointing trip here. Came with my friends for their birthdays, came out with undercooked leftovers! First off, our appetizers were never put in because they "forgot" after our entrees were already out. That's fine! It's happens. We were missing lettuce on a burger and were told that it was thrown out AFTER we had already received the burger, two entrees did not have their toppings and were still charged, and the Mac n cheese was missing the cheese, which is terrifying on its own (butter noodles only get you so far, especially when you're expecting macaroni and CHEESE). To top it all off, I got food poisoning from their shrimp being undercooked. But hey, a 99 cent discount fixes everything. Do not recommend coming here. Food and service is terrible. read more

Went to Texas Roadhouse while on my mini vacation in Savannah, GA and was not that impressed!! The food was not bad but the staff were not cordial at all!! Our waitress was very cold and dismissive in her welcoming and acted more like she was ready for us to leave than taking our orders. My wife was served a chicken Caesar Salad with some chicken slices that were not fully cooked!! Can you say salmonella!!!? They did remove from the bill but again was not very apologetic for the miscue. At least the restaurant was clean. And we even gave a generous tip although it probably wasn't deserved! I had a great experience here, initially the plan was to do take out but once I walked in and saw the hot rolls tempting me under the light I had to dine in. It was 8:35 and they closed at 9:30 but were still happy to take us. The hosts and servers were very nice, but the seats and table top was dirty. They were a bit busy so I just cleaned it myself. Our server was honestly, her only flaw was the lack of napkins. Order: Sweet Tea: PERFECT!! Rattlesnake Bites: Hot and pretty good 1/2 slab of ribs with a Cesar salad and loaded baked potato: the ribs were fall off the bone tender, meaty and had a nice flavor, the Cesar was just okay I should've got my dressing on the side and the baked potatoes was loaded. They cooked the steak perfectly and the shrimp, broccoli and rice were enjoyed. The ONLY downside of this visit was that my seating was ducked off in the corner (which I loved) so the fact that a homeless man walked inside around a couple of corners and approached the table asking for money really disturbed me. My heart dropped because I didn't see him coming and he came so close and talked so low. His smell ruined the whole meal for me so I literally didn't eat anything after the salad. read more

Party of 6 on a Wednesday evening. We checked in online and after a few minutes we received a text to head into the restaurant. We were told to stand in a certain area until they were able to seat us. We waited literally one minute before someone took us to our table. Our server was wonderful, I wish I could remember her name. She gave us some rolls (our entire party loved the rolls - I didn't eat any as I am allergic to cinnamon and I was afraid they may have some cinnamon on them as they were in the same basket as the cinnamon butter) and took our drink orders. Everything from taking our drink and apps order to giving us the final bill happened at a great pace and our table was never without the magical rolls. We started our meal with rattlesnake bites and potato skins. Our mains were chicken critters, ribs with mashed potatoes, smothered chicken with cheese, a steak, a critters salad and a kids mini cheeseburgers. Wife had the vegetable plate, her veggies were very good and served piping hot. I had the pulled pork plate. The sweet BBQ sauce was not my favorite but the pork was very good. Please understand that we have very few options on this side of town to eat out. You are pretty much it. I just want to make sure you know that people have noticed changes in your restaurant lately that need to be addressed. I was there a month ago I guess and I order a sirloin, had to send it back twice. It was thin and just sad. I do love the family take outs. I order the pork because not too sure about the steak anymore. Would love it if you would add beef tips to that menu. The order I got for Superbowl Sunday was basically cut in half. I got the wrong tea. I blamed it on the day and the volume they might have been dealing with but still. My friends went last weekend and one ordered a burger. The salt in that burger sat on her gums for days. Please TEXAS ROADHOUSE, there is nowhere else to eat, you have to go back to quality and basically caring about your customers. Like I have never had a more delicious melt in your mouth steak in my life. 10 out of 10. The salmon. Sweet lord. So good. Perfectly seasoned. Perfectly cooked. The sides were also perfectly tender, seasoned, and delicious. 10 out of 10. Our server Kha'nyiah, super friendly, on point, always kept out drinks full and our table clean! Wonderful server and wonderful service!! I usually have feedback for chain restaurants but hands down this is one of the most satisfying meals I have had in Savannah. Absolutely horrifying. Never been to a restaurant this inconsistent in my life. Every time we come they don't have rolls. They're always "backed up" and will not let customers purchase rolls. So instead we waited 30 mins on a main dish to be able to get a side of rolls. Only gave us 2 rolls and said there was nothing they could do. Texas Roadhouse is a family friendly, affordable and tasty restaurant. I've been to Texas Roadhouse a number of times. Most people love the fresh baked rolls with cinnamon butter! I recognize the salads, chili, ribs, steak, chicken fingers etc You really can't go wrong. We had some pretty picky water in our party last time and everyone was able to find something they enjoyed! They were very busy but our server Danielle took excellent care of us and didn't miss a beat. Drink refills, sauces, bread etc. It's definitely worth a try! read more
